- Apologies for being later than usual on this. But here is our first update for the new year, just to bring people up to speed on what has happened and what WILL be happening in the future of my UA-cam channel.

Honestly, EOI is what got me interested in this channel but seeing all of the other animations that aren't EOI related made me want to see any animation or content that you would publish regardless of what they were. Thank you for the content and keep up the good work, Shadow. You deserve it.
Honestly, I never even heard of the Elements of Insanity when I subscribed to you. So, don't worry about me being upset about you backpedaling that series; I'm only here for some of your delicious content! That, and I want what's best for you and your mental health! I cannot begin to imagine how stressful it is to juggle between SMG4, Ze Pyromancers _and_ your own content, but I understand and am willing to respect your decisions for what you will do in the future.

I will fully admit I found you because of the Element of Insanity. But I stayed because of all of the other stories you do. I really do love your work. I've seen people before who planned on doing more than they were able to (and one of them kinda overwhelmed himself), and I'm glad you're planning around your limits. Anyway, keep up the good work!

I came here very late since i have recently remembered your channel and EOI. And honestly i did came back for it but seeing how much you did for the story and not really being able to make content aside from that, i can say that its completely okay for the cancellation of the 2 arcs. I will still stay as a fan because i am fond of your animations and works. I hope you take care of yourself and take time with projects you have in mind! This should come as no surprise, but I respect your decision with the EOI. Sometimes things don't work out as initially planned. Not to mention I kind of already do short things on my own as well.

Do what ya gotta, for the rest of us who aren't obsessed with EOI, the rest of what ya do for both this and the other two channels is quality work. Honestly I would take quality over quantity any day in here, cause none of these great works you do, whether silly and short or story filled long episodes, would be anything without you and the passion you have for it.

PS: You mentioned Starlight and Tirek in your 3rd plot-line for EOI. Out of curiosity, in this plot-line, would they be freakified or not? And if so, what would thier names be?

I will say that your 10k sub special brought me to the channel but, aside from the horror content I love your smaller animation work plus double shadow(Colossal Bonnie!). I also get overwelmed by my own work so you better not regret scaling back to your limits. That aside, congratulations on working with SMG4. I don't use twitter so its news to me, I'll have to check out the channel.

I’ve been around since ye olde EOI days, but I have also loved all of this other content over the years
Lyrish, Paper And Ink, Untold Darkness, and all the fun small animations that have dropped around
But most of all, I was hyped to hell and back to see you become not only a member of Ze Pyromancers, but also SMG4, because I have enjoyed his stuff for years too
I know I am always willing to be patient for new stuff from you, because I know how hard the process for everything can be, and understanding wanting to focus on maintaining your limits and now having to work around the huge load of work you have
Keep doing you Shadow, you always have fans wanting your best around the corner.
Being honest, while EOI was some of the first content I saw from you Shadow. You've also dipped your toes into tons of other content as well. Pyromancers, Twitch Streams, Gaming videos, and several others that have been hits with me. While it will be sad not to see the other two arcs, to be honest... after the MLP Gen 4 series I had wondered how that would change things. I am thankful to know projects like this will be addressed, and to know that the twitch, Pyromancer, and other project stuff will continue.
Also, yes please. More Untold Story please. I have my theories, but I will keep those to myself.
Dear shadow i respect you're decision on eoi and i can't blame you. Back then when i first found your Chanel at the age of 6. I was impressed not from the story you made with the elements of insanity. But it was the time the effort the blood sweat and tears. From the animation that shocked me. That shadow is why I Subscribed to you. To see how far your animation skills will evolve. And thanks to you i animate as well you were my inspiration. I can't wait to see what you bring in the future.

Okay, several things I would like to point out in this. I'm so glad that you gave us more info about different series of yours, especially the newer ones, which I have an interest for, or Double Shadow. Not new, but definitely something i do enjoy to watch sometimes. Now, the ones I'm less sure about are Lyrish and EOI. Last time we spoke, I asked you about Lyrish, but I think you said something about being unsure..? I dunno, I should check again what you told me last time we spoke.. it's been too long. I'm not saying I wouldn't watch a new video of it, I'm always happy to see new stuff of yours. And for the last one.. I'm finally glad that you mentioned them publicly. I don't remember if you ever done it before, but anyway. I'm glad you finally told the people who watch you *just* for that what you think about it. This shit has been a major problem for.. heeeh.. i think you're better well placed to know what I mean already. While I wouldn't mind to see a new video about it, I have better fuckin things to do than beg for a series that hasn't been updated in a while. And for the canceled parts ? Well, things happened, and these people will have to accept that, period. And if they wanna keep whining about it or insult me for daaaring to even say that about their precious little series, weeell.. i couldn't give much less of a fuck about that. And for the last thing, take care of yourself, Shadster. Don't let work become a huge pile of work impossible to get out from. I've seen enough youtubers who made too much things at once, not making their job easier. Try to find a good pace for yourself, hoping you can find a balance that fit you. Other than that, have a good one, dude, and keep doing what you like.

Before I viewed your other content, the EOI was originally the only reason I subscribed. After taking a look at the other content, I see that you are more than that. Honestly I think it’s great that your still gonna keep the eoi characters in your vids even after the series end. Mental health is a big issue now days so take whatever breaks or chances you need. Your good fans will always be here

Honestly, I came across your channel from your Double Shadow play sessions of Little Nightmares. It was interesting to go through those with you. While I understand the shift in your work has made consistent uploads here more difficult, I definitely would love to see the conclusion of some of these sessions once your workflow stabilizes to your own satisfaction. Mental health is definitely important.
Sounds like you have pretty solid plan for 2023 and for your channel.

I was a teen when I saw your first works of the elements of insanity and I thought it was done after the big 40 minute movie. Congratulations on the work with SMG4 and I will continue to be your subscriber as you do more and less things with your channel.

Not gonna lie, initially, I did subscribe because of the EoI series, and that's actually how I got INTO the fandom, was through you, and after seeing your other content, I don't mind the massive gap from EoI, because I've loved almost all of your content! I'm excited to see what comes out next. However, the one thing, and I'm sure a lot of your fans will agree, we are HYPED for the release for Bendy and the Dark Revival! I know you already have a lot on your plate, I just wanted to say that we are looking forward to seeing you play and hearing you and Shadow scream.

Hey Shadow. I understand the amount of work that’s been piling onto you has been stressful. In all honesty regarding the EoI, I personally just wanted to see where & how the story ends. I’m in no means a hardcore fan of them like the rest of the audience supposedly is. Personally I’ve seen A LOT of brony content being stressful for others such as Joey-O & Wubcake, hence why their projects were cancelled. I’m seeing it’s toxic of a viewer to just only expect MLP content like the EoI, so I can understand your reasoning behind your choice

I can understand the pile of work and fun projects you got Shadow. You just do what you can to help lighten the load so it doesn’t keep getting unbalanced or completely chaotic with your plans & irl stuff.
As for Elements of Insanity, I never got interested in that series. Honestly the only ones from it that I know are Brutallight, Shimmer Cakes, & Magic Mare since they pop up most & seem to play important roles for other stuff you do with them outside of the elements of insanity series for your channel. So I wish you the best of luck. Also, Wario’s curse spirit is looking for you & ImShadow so you two better hide.

I've been thinking of new character of the elements of insanity, a black alicorn stallion named Dark Shadow the king of luna eclipse.
Plus his dark form named Nightmare Terror.
I understand you have been really busy with smg4 stuff and other things and the pain of all the people asking about equestria of insanity I would be lying if I didn’t say I did watch your channel for that 😅 but after watching some of your other videos I’ve genuinely loved your videos and yes your channel has been a little slow but only because you have been putting your talents to the use elsewhere so what I’m trying to say is keep up the good work shadow and don’t feel pressured to please us just keep doing what you love 👍😎

Do what you have to Shadow. You make great content, with your streaming, EoI, and even your Double Shadow playthroughs. Though I do love MLP, I do however enjoy your playthroughs with IMShadow007 and your streams posted on UA-cam.
Just get some time off for yourself and let yourself decide on what you want to work on. Trust me, I have a few stories (including fan stories I made myself) that are lingering in the works which I hope to animate in the future.
It's your decision moving forward with your channel Shadow, no one can force you to work on something that is causing you this much stress and health problems.
I'm sure many people will respect your decision with the Elements of Insanity. They're not what your channel is all about, and I'm sorry so many people think that's more important than anything else.
I admit, seeing the eoi was what drew me to your channel at the start, but I've stuck around for everything else you've showcased. All the playthroughs you've done with Imshadow007, the gmod and sfm stories with guest stars, those are what I look forward to most. The Elements of Insanity are nice and great models, but I prefer everything else that you have to offer.
Don't worry about what those people who only care about the eoi say, do what makes you happy, and create the content you enjoy most.
