Day 2: Coronet Peak Training Day

Today was riding with Gaz, a SBNZ Examiner and fellow staff trainer at The Remarkables. It was a sick day, the legs were feeling pretty good by the fourth lap.
I rode an early chair before the day with Mattias and Freddy to catch a sunrise lap and have the moment I’d already seen in my minds eye.
To capture it on film was unreal, I realized that the moment I had seen and visualized for so long was about to go down. So I said “what we think, we become,” crested over the summit and felt the sun hit my face. It was surreal; and to have realized that THAT was the moment I’d seen visualized as clear as day, I get quiet because I got choked up and had a tear come to my eye. The happiest, most proud of myself, thankful to the humans who helped me get here, tear I’ve ever shed.
Cheers to the unknown exploration ahead and to the next visualisation: Milford sound doing 7 heli-board runs in knee deep New Zealand snow. 🤙🏽
