Providing Safe Water using Desalination Units in Rafah | Oxfam GB

The people of #Gaza face a significant challenge in accessing clean water, only 10% have access today. The Israeli-imposed 17-year-long blockade already restricted access to safe drinking water in Gaza. Access to clean drinking water and sanitation is a fundamental human right. We collaborated with the Palestinian Environment Friends Association (PEF) to supply 5 solar-powered desalination units for displaced families in Rafah. However, this effort falls short without a #CeasefireNOW and imposed restrictions on aid flow. #OpenUpGaza
