Ethiopia - Amina’s experience of lacking water and extreme drought | Oxfam GB

Amina shares how integral water is to her day-to-day life and the struggles she and her family experience in trying to access water. She worries about the wellbeing of her children when she has to go collect water and fears for the safety of her daughter when she leaves on her own to bring back water. However, since Oxfam and local partners have installed solar panels, extended water pipes to her village, constructed water points and a reservoir, collecting water has become much easier and safer.
