Arkansas junior Mason Jones broke the 30-point plateau for the third straight game and turned in his second 40-point effort of the season, but the Razorbacks fell to #10/11 Auburn, 79-76, in overtime Tuesday night at Bud Walton Arena.Jones finished with 40 points (12-of-24 from the field, including 5-of-12 from 3-point range) and five assists.In overtime, Auburn led by five (75-70) with 1:42 left. Arkansas’ defense stood strong and Jones made a great hustle play to get the Hogs to within one, 77-76, on an old-fashion 3-point play with 12 seconds left.

This is the type of player, Eyes on the rim. Fascinating personality and high ceiling for maturity. May have some weaknesses but I wouldn't go crazy or obsess over those aspects. The right hand hesitation dribble and then burst is insane, or is one of his favorite go to moves. Very bouncy on the after-shot, this is what you like to see in confidence and this is how it's done. Projected high ceiling 3 point shooter, 3 Pt shot contest type potential.
