I got the news Monday that I’ll never be able to play baseball without risking knee injuries. I had a feeling it would happen, but still it hurts. I was going D1 and I took my freshman semester off, but man this sucks. I want to say thank you to BCM cause I love watching your videos of these high school guys kill it. I wish I could go back and do better. We never made it past first round of playoffs, no matter how hard I tried. I want everyone to know, this shit doesn’t last forever, so enjoy it while it lasts. Love you all

What's the scoop on this game? Pre-Season exhibition? Scrimmage? A couple things I noticed, the plate umpires weren't as experienced as the rest of the videos you put out. I noticed mostly because that first umpire was calling balls 8 inches off the plate, and the 2nd was tighter. This is why consistency is important when learning the strike zone, so there is less variance between games. That's a totally different experience for the pitchers.
Did that first umpire leave with the injury? Or were they swapping because it was a scrimmage, and the umpires were all trying to get reps? Normally at high school games, there isn't just an extra waiting on standby. So I assume the umpire that swapped in was there for a reason.
I don't expect you to know all of the details:) Just thoughts that I observed from the officiating point of view.
This was a scrimmage game, and the plate umpire that started worked the entire game behind the plate. Thanks for watching the vid🐍
@@BlackCobraMediaTV Sorry homie, but the plate umpire that started, 100% got swapped out at the top of the 3rd. 1st guy works until 10:50 in your vid, then at the top of the 3rd, at about 11:10, it's a different guy.
