    Nice review . I too own MK1 case brought for 99 $ during per order stage . I love mk1 very much . I use it inside of my trolleys suitcase at the time of air travel as checkin luggage for storing watches , GPS , trimmers , hard disk and other delicate items . I use verge case for camera . Soon will buy Errant too.

      Yeah it’s really handy to have. It holds a pretty surprising amount. I’m excited to get the errant at some point too. Looks like a great every day pack.
      Thanks for checking out the vid! 👍

    Appreciate the thorough review! One thing I would like to see more of is how much additional space remains in the main compartment for things like clothes when the MK-1 is installed?

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  5 років тому

      Yeah absolutely. Thanks for watching. Honestly the amount of room on the inside is minimal. You can have a few very small things in the interior side pocket, the zippered compartment on the exterior upper can be used, and the laptop compartment can be used. You could flat pack some clothes into that compartment, but not much (a light outfit). The MK1 takes up most of the usable space in the bag.
      I bought the 6L EXM port to help with this problem. That can carry a good amount and attaches easily to the exterior bottom of the pack.
      Cheers!

      Much appreciate the feedback! Let's say I want to get creative with what I store in the MK-1 and use the top portion to store a pair of B&O H9 headphones ... since they fold flat instead of compressed - would that work? I like the idea of using the 6L EXM if I need to transport clothes - just need to find a suitable solution for tripod storage unless there's an easy solve for that without having it lopsided on the side of the bag?

    Is it possible to attach the MK-1 to the OUTSIDE of the Prima System instead of the inside?

  • @syrnewhouse
    @syrnewhouse 5 років тому +1

    very nice review! I don't have the Prima system, and can I still use MK1 to carry my camera stuff? Can I use it as a regular camera bag and carry it with a shoulder belt. Is a belt included anyway? Thanks.

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  5 років тому

      Yes you absolutely can and I think that’s one of the biggest selling points of this bag. You can use it in its own if you want and the build quality is great. Unfortunately the belt is not included. You would have to use your own, use a peak design strap like I have done, or buy the strap they sell on their website to use it. Of course, if you buy the prima system, you can use the strap from there then too.

    Is it possible to store a Sony A7R3 with battery grip (height approx. 14.5cm) into this camera bag, so that you can still remove/return the camera via the side access ?

  • @timcfagan
    @timcfagan 6 років тому +1

    thanks for the detailed review! Maybe I missed it, but is there any extra padding on the bottom side of the bag? (when standing upright). It also seems to taper off for some reason.

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  6 років тому +1

      Yes. So there is padding on the bottom. It is tapered to fit inside the prima pack. By default, they include a Velcro shelf covered the part where the bag begins to taper. This keeps the inside of the bag looking rather square. You can sort of lift that bottom shelf up and tuck non sensitive items in there for storage. I use it for cables, qr plates, etc...
      Thanks for watching the vid!

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  6 років тому +1

      Btw, this sort of empty bottom part of the pack also has a rigid plastic shell to make this section crush proof. I have zero qualms about dropping the pack on the ground with a full load.

    Thanks for your video! Wiil the mK-1 fit 2 A7Riii bodies accessible via the side access? Thank you

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  5 років тому +2

      Absolutely it will. You’ll be able to fit 2 of those, 3 medium sized lenses, a flash or two, extra batteries, cables and accessories, etc... The bag can fit a pretty good amount of gear in it.

    Thanks for the review. Can it fit DJI Ronin S (without the handle) and a mirrorless camera with a prime lens

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  6 років тому +1

      Thanks for watching the vid! Yes. I would confidently say that it would fit inside the bag with the gimbal head detached. You’ll obviously have to arrange the pack to tailor to the Ronin, but it should work with that setup.

    Great review! When using the mk-1, is there any room for a gimbal i n the Prima System backpack? Thanks!

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  5 років тому +1

      Yes you can fit a gimbal in the prima system itself. I used to carry my crane Plus in there, although I had to unscrew the battery compartment since it was too tall. You could probably fit a gimbal in the MK1, but it would eat up a lot of space. The new weebill Lab from Zhiyun is one that is small enough to fit in both of these bags. I just got one and really love the thing. What gimbal are you using?

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  5 років тому

      Actually I just tried out the MK1 in my prima with the weebill Lab gimbal inside the laptop compartment of the prima pack. Works great!

      @@Infosmercial Thank you for the info! I'm using the Moza Aircross. Love this thing! It's small and light. Although not as small as the weebill Lab!

    • @Infosmercial
      @Infosmercial  5 років тому

      Ooo the moza looked pretty cool. Some of the features and software looked pretty neat. Glad you like it. Yeah the weebill is a teeny little beast. I’m all about making the gear as compact and travel friendly as possible lol.

    • @PlanetChu
      @PlanetChu 5 років тому +1

      @@Infosmercial Compact and light is they key to happiness! LOL! I'm sticking with my crop sensor Sony's as opposed to full frame to save myself some size and weight. But . . it does come at a cost . .
