I still can’t watch 💔. Hopefully someday I can enjoy their music again without feeling so much grief.

Wynona looks beautiful. I like her hair blonde like this. I like her voice much better here. As she has gotten older her voice has become too affected. Her voice is beautiful.

Wonder what Naomi was thinking when Wy answered the question about her father, seeing that years later Naomi finally admitted to Wynonna that the man she always thought was her dad, wasn't.

It's nice the father treated Wy as his own without letting on.

I really enjoyed this so much suprb6970. Thank you for posting!
The music of The Judds & the video of the Native Americans bring back good memories...
Back in the late 70's-early 80's, I learned to read a map so I could drive myself & my 8 yr old son from California to Michigan. I was a single mom. I got my tax return & quite my job. Stuffed our most important belongings into trash bags so I could get the very most packed into a 1964 (yellow) Super Beetle with a sun-roof. (wish I still had that awesome little bug ;-) Like some of us back then: I was born to run, haha!
My mom had kids from her 1st marriage: I wanted to get to know one of my older sisters, who was half Chippewa. My dad was a wonderful Irishman, who died young.
Our mother's grandmother was full-blood Choctaw.
My son & I lived in Michigan for about five years. Every season we would go to as many pow-wows as we could. My sister danced "Women's Traditional". I would dance (inter-tribal) with her.
Now I live in the high desert of Arizona, surrounded by these beautiful rocks that form our mountains. What a blessing!

I loved Wy's hair color back then. Not a fan of fire engine red on women, it always looks hard & weird

I call it “cartoon red”…or Ozzy and Sharon Osborne red”. No one’s hair is naturally that color. Hard is right!

So Wynona carried Naomi on her back. Naomi is barely singing. Wynona was the star and momma just chaperoned her onstage.

Yes...it was no secret that Wynona had the voice. This is why Wynona could go solo when her mother retired.
