Thank you nice video well explained. 🤟🙋♂️💪 Only correction if I may is you never put motor oil on a transmission seal you can contaminate the transmission 🤔🤷♂️🧐. You Coat this o ring with transmission fluid
Np, thanks
Yes, yes your right, bc the transmission oil is made from petroleum and the engine oil is made from some black stuff from the bottom of the earth, so it would probably destroy the transmission if its not destroyed already. Seriously good call!
Np. Just trying to help us all save $$
You’re the best

Hi Tom I have a problem shifting from 1st to 2nd only, changed the fluid twice, changed both Aand B solenoids. Could it be my speed sensor, 2010 2.0 petrol honda accord semi Auto, it shifts fine in manual if the revs are above 4000 RPM.
Ps my speed sensor is shorter and fatter than the one in your video.
Thank you for your help and video
Hi
A failing speed sensor can cause a shifting issue. Low gear oil can also cause a shifting issue. Otherwise an issue within transmission.
What are all the check engine codes you have??
What is the name of the sensor on top of the speed sensor please
Sorry, dont know. The dealer can give u a free print out telling u what that part is. Or u can use google and look for engine diagram
Is this the same location for a 2019 Honda civic sport ?
Sorry I dont know. Just look and you will know.
1 thing. The sensor should always be some place on the transmission drivers side of eng. Once u get new sensor get a flashlight & look to match up sensor on eng with new sensor. Or go to dealer w vin# and theyll give u a print out of its location
still get code after new sensor must be a harness issue?
Hi
Make sure the new sensor is fully seated or it wont work. If car still drives the same sensor isnt seated correctly. Reset chk eng lite afterwards.
Altho u put the 10mm bolt back in. Many have not screwed the bolt all the way in from time to time i have found. Was your check engine code p0717?
If sensor is fully seated. Try to examine electrical connector for any signs of damage and spray it with electrical cleaner to see if thats works
Had to remove the harness first as it was cracking, ended up breaking the sensor, simple pliers don't work to get it out, any other suggestions?
Thanks
Send me your# then i will text you. Need to see clear pic of broken off sensor. I will delete your# from utube soon as i see it
See my video on remove stuck or broke sensor. Its on youtube
@@avery214jdidn't work at all. Anything else?
If you watched the video i suggested i dont know any other way to get a broken sensor out
@@avery214j all good appreciate your help bro 👍🏾
I have the same issue with my car, bring my car to the dealership and they told me to re place the engine wiring harness for $2,500.
Not sure ive ever heard that being the problem or resolution.
Did you go around the hoses? Lol
I reached back and simply removed 10mm bolt. Then pulled out sensor and then disconnected connector
@@avery214j thanks for the reply. Its at a tight spot, that’s why I asked
Your welcome.
@@TxivDev93 that's what She said.
I have code p0793 do you know where that sensor is located??
For what car? Normally located below the battery on the transmission
Closer to the wheel
Remove battery and tray if needed. Examine what your sensor looks like and match the head-connector to the new sensor
