- Not a very clean run, but no one will know because who watches a 19 minute speedrun anyway :P I tried TA rules for a while, but there are almost no openings in phase 3 and 4 for hammer, so I decided to just go for a decent run with mantles. This fight is horrible... Looking forward to AT Teostra!

Did you commit (roughly) the damage to trigger rage to memory, or are all roar rolls on reaction? Some of those are super tight and in angles where it's very hard to see Behemoth rearing for a roar.

Nezard0 some are on reaction but there are also tells for it like when he is coming out of exhaustion. Thanks!
Yes, when he's done being out of stamina he shakes himself up. I was mostly referring to the one at @1:46 because it kinda blended into the recovery animation of the spinning thing. That one was incredibly impressive. Good stuff (also thought you were going to die to the tornado on top of the comet at the end, but he gracefully dropped a few more for you).
Ah, yeah. I noticed that one because his leg normally doesn't jerk forward like that. Evasion mantle did most of the work on that one 😅Thanks for the comments 😃
Hybris mantle didnt give you an attack boost after dodging successfully so it definitely wasn't the mantle. Sometimes his roars just don't affect you.
XDark8SlayerX if you roll very early there is a period of invulnerability that doesn't give you the attack buff. Probably what happened there.
Man area 13 seems to be the worst place to fight him because of all the damn lava spewing out
You can get him to go to nergi's area instead if you break one of his horns before the end of phase 2. I didn't play around with that enough to know if it was worth it or not.
Hybris then you have to deal with the falling crystals and his tornados reducing the amount of space you have to work with good run though nice to see him get pounded instead of all these cluster runs
krusnic 1 i feel like the lava place is better for hammer cause phase 3 in nergi's place is fucking annoying with all the sliding

One year later I'm still trying to solo him, right now I'm trying. I stopped playing for a while, but now I'm pretty good with the longsword, but my damage and skill are not yet the best. I refuse to coop

Can you recommend a build for those of us that are struggling with behemoth?
For solo, I'd recommend you look up a good cluster HBG build. It's got the fastest clear times by far. I don't have the build for that sorry :x
How do you achieve the white sharpness I’m only at blue with the Diablos shatter
With Handicraft 4 you get 10 units of white

Check the end of the vid. Vaal hazak hammer is much weaker than diablos hammer

@@nino922 Not quite, only head and back legs are weak spots for impact damage (mostly hammer and hunting horn). Tail, front legs, and head are weak spots for cutting damage. I think front paws and head are weak for shot damage. Good luck!

Did you augment for affinity twice? What's your total affinity after Weakness Exploit?

Affinity is 90% after weakness exploit. Affinity/health augments
Hybris thanks for replying! Just want to say your DPS will be higher if you have Max Might 3 and Crit Boost 2. You’ll also always crit and never lose sharpness.
On average, CB 3 + MM2 is higher damage than CB2 + MM3. But you are right about the sharpness consideration. I am not sure how much it matters since you can sharpen so quickly in this game, but it's possible you are right.
Actually after doing a simple calculation, I realise you are correct wow. But the damage is 1 damage point difference per 100 normal damage. I guess you can consider if this outweighs the benefit of never sharpening. I find that in the last phase you eventually drop to Blue and stay there if you go in with 90% affinity.

Hey there. How often are you able to flashbang Charybdis? It's giving me the most trouble on my solo runs for sure.
I usually opt not to do so since you can get a lot of damage in while he is casting it. You can waste a lot of time sheathing and unsheathing if you flash too often

If he is still flashed and recasts charybdis, it always casts on is head it seems.
