Would this work with Diablos Hammer? I don't really have a Handi Jewel, so I would use a variation of the set you have. I'm wondering if I actually need to use the Deviljho Hammer as it has Elderseal.
No the elderseal is irrelevant. You can see it only procs 1 time in this hunt. I wanted to fit in Slugger 3 because Lunastra is an asshole and you can't really fit it with Blos hammer. The ideal weapon is Kulve Sleep hammer for sure, but Jho isn't terrible in comparison because Lunastra takes good dragon damage. This set is still around 2-3% behind in damage and has to worry about sharpness where sleep hammer doesn't.
I'm forced to use Blos Hammer without white sharpness because I don't have that Handicraft Jewel nor the Sleep Hammer. I'm gonna use the same set you have with the Blos Hammer instead, minus the Handicraft 1 and plus the Elementless 1. Thanks for the insight and good hunt!

I'll keep trying probably. Still have a lot of time left and it's possible to stop the limp with some luck. The run can still be like 30+ seconds faster even with the limp I think. Just so random with Lunastra
I'm noticing a distinct lack of big bangs in this run, even when Luna is KO'd.
Why is that?
When the stars disappear from the monster's head you can start building KO again, and triple pound does a lot more KO damage than big bang. Lunas ai is very unfriendly so I want to get as many KOs as possible

I can't fit slugger 3 in a blos build, so this is the next best. Kulve sleep hammer would be best, but I don't have it unfortunately.
