Instead of killing her off, put her in rehab or just send her off with her dad on the boat job and then bring her back and she could have been more mature and gotten back with Ryan! Even though it didn’t work out romantically they did spend a whole chunk of their lives together and you can’t really get rid of those memories, thankfully they are still friends and didn’t break up in bad terms because that kind of true platonic energy that will always be there

They should do like a whole reunion episode on this podcast. Bring Ben in, Mischa, with Adam, Rachel and Melinda. Would be nice to hear all their perspectives about the set and just the show in general
WOW! To say Adam Brody was one guest I was waiting for you to have on your podcast, is an understatement. Half of the 'fab four' was reunited. Thank you, again Rachel and Melinda for coming together to this The O.C podcast. I love a nostalgic trip down memory lane. As far as, rebooting The O.C, I don't need it. It would be fun to see these characters in this world, again... Maybe just a limited series, a two-hour episode-movie, if you, the cast, and Josh would be willing. But, I agree with what Adam said. This podcast 'Welcome to the OC, Bitches!' is enough of a look back, with the wonderful guests of cast members, writers, directors, and creator.
You represented my childhood, I was totally in love with your couple, both in the film and in private life. I've always cheering for you and seeing you talk after all these years and seeing complicity is really an immense emotion anyway. I hope to see you again on television and I think I would love anything that would be proposed. You're a fabulous cast 🤍
Seeing Rachel & Adam together again is so sweet. It's like seeing that cute couple you went to high school with reunite lol. Glad to see they're still friends.
I can't believe I could like him more. He is impossible to disagree with here, sensible about what the show means to everyone, critical in the right amount. Maybe a bit too self critical. But yay ❤ Adam
I have so many things I’d like to say to Adam about his character and the show I straight up got anxious listening to the interview hahah But bro, I know that in a way The OC celebrates money and wealth, but in much more real ways it celebrates family, brotherhood and the fantasy of a comfortable life- It’s much more about aspiring to live in a happy household than aspiring to live in a rich household. The wealth aspect mostly plays the part of providing a stress free family environment. The only stress came from their own shenanigan lol What I think people mostly get wrong about The OC is regarding what the show’s actually about. It’s not about teenage love stories, ís about finding family, and more importantly, about finding a brother. That’s the core of the show, that’s why it resonated so much, Seth and Ryan’s relationship is the soul of the series. Also, the show was way more critical off he culture it represented than I think he remembers. Seth Cohen himself represented change, the breaking of the cycle of socially unaware wealth. And I do believe it deserves a really well made reboot.
Congrats Melinda and Rachel on keeping this guess under wraps Of Course Brody gets 2 parts 🙂 The Seth character was to me the center and influence of the entire show He was Ryan’s conscious He help transform Summer into the beautiful , complete person she turned into He saved his parents marriage and he actually helped Taylor grow Great Podcast

And also, this reminds me that i'll never get over Rachel and Adam ❤️
Wow Adam really is such a deep, knowledgeable guy. There’s just so much to him. Just an all round awesome guy. Rachel really got dolled up for this one lol 😂
Flex on the ex
Lol I thought the same thing, she seem like she did 😆 She's such a cutie either way.
@@tinasalazar9492 right!!! Totally they’re just adorable.
Hahaha so it wasn’t just me who felt that 😅
Omg I just noticed that too haha with the make up
Adam Brody/Seth Cohen style and looks became ICON until now can still see the "Seth Cohen looks or "Adam Brody's look" in Movies or in TV series 🥰
Awww. So glad Adam Brody came on the podcast!! He has such great insight and maturity.
u can rly feel this energy between Adam and Rachel, idk if its just me watching this, like there's some sort of tension still there between them, not bad tension but like this energy which feels rly sweet to see
I thought so too, imo it’s just one of those things where you can just feel the connection from far away. Even though it didn’t work out romantically they did spend a whole chunk of their lives together and you can’t really get rid of those memories, thankfully they are still friends and didn’t break up in bad terms because that kind of true platonic energy that will always be there
Im from the Philippines and i just start watching The OC now because my boyfriend from USA live here in the Philippines with me now and he introduced the OC to me,,, i love every character and the story❤️Love you All and God Bless🙏
I don't know what to say... Except that THIS IS ICONIC!
Now we need to see The Cohen’s all together in, at least, one episode of the podcast. It would be great. 🥺🥺
Yes! I love The Cohens and their dynamic as a family.
That's all I really want tbh a cast reunion at the Cohen house
You represented my childhood, I was totally in love with your couple, both in the film and in private life. I've always cheering for you and seeing you talk after all these years and seeing complicity is really an immense emotion anyway. I hope to see you again on television and I think I would love anything that would be proposed. You're a fabulous cast 🤍
Really enjoyed this chat with Brody can't wait for part 2 now!
Seeing Rachel & Adam together again is so sweet. It's like seeing that cute couple you went to high school with reunite lol. Glad to see they're still friends.
The first half of season 2 is the best television I’ve ever seen
I can't believe I could like him more. He is impossible to disagree with here, sensible about what the show means to everyone, critical in the right amount. Maybe a bit too self critical. But yay ❤ Adam
So you mean you couldn’t like him more?
I knew Adam Brody was a very interesting and intelligent person, and it shows even more here, it's really impressive !
I have so many things I’d like to say to Adam about his character and the show I straight up got anxious listening to the interview hahah
But bro, I know that in a way The OC celebrates money and wealth, but in much more real ways it celebrates family, brotherhood and the fantasy of a comfortable life-
It’s much more about aspiring to live in a happy household than aspiring to live in a rich household. The wealth aspect mostly plays the part of providing a stress free family environment. The only stress came from their own shenanigan lol
What I think people mostly get wrong about The OC is regarding what the show’s actually about.
So excited, I love Adam Brody and I was waiting and hoping for him to make an appearance on the podcast :)
Congrats Melinda and Rachel on keeping this guess under wraps
Of Course Brody gets 2 parts 🙂
The Seth character was to me the center and influence of the entire show
He was Ryan’s conscious
He help transform Summer into the beautiful , complete person she turned into
He saved his parents marriage and he actually helped Taylor grow
Great Podcast
THIS makes me so happy. Thank you so much to Rachel and Melinda that did this possible. And thank you too to Adam because this is so important for the fans of the oc
The whole "Jumper" conversation was hilarious... I love how Rachel deals with awkward stuff, cause it reminds me of how I deal with stuff like that lol
Do you think she left him for her baby daddy?
@@annabellerioux8989 well, I don't know, but I guess it was just awkward for them to be reminded of that time, cause they had just broken up. Still, I loved how they kept showing a lot of respect for each other even when dealing with this subject. I'd say it showed how mature they are
allegedly Rachel cheated on Adam with Hayden
Do you have a timestamp for when they talk about Jumper? :)
36 mins. Talking about other offers
So nice to see Adam. Seth Cohen always made me smile which his unique holidays and view on life.
When you guys talk about seasons and how many episodes there were, I'm like shows just aren't like that these days. You guys must have worked super long hours for longer time periods.
Clicked so fast when I saw this reunion! Love seeing them together again chatting you can tell the amount of respect Rachel has for him and vice versa but especially Rachel
My 15 yo is screaming internally... this is the best moment of my life in a long time, I love Adam and even more Seth Cohen a totally mood for a teenager. Thank you guys for the memories and new ones that will come 💗
So happy he came on to share this special moment with his former catsmates & fans!! Hoping Ben comes on for the finale episode 🤞🤞 Thank you, Rachel & Melinda!!
💖 Adam Brody ...so nice to see Rachel and him back chatting.
Loved Seth and Summer together.
My favourite episode of this podcast. Adam Brady is still my crush. What a great actor and speaker. Seth & Summer are my favourite still to this day. Lovely to see the cast get on so well. Please come on again in the future Adam. Wow great watch
