- Our first visitor arrival for this weekend's Air Force 100 event is Hannu Halminen's P-51D Mustang, restored in the colours of 424 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force.
After the Second World War, 424 Squadron RCAF was based at the then Mount Hope Airport, now Hamilton International Airport and flew Mustangs that were marked like this one.
