- Here's a small overview of how I got my first RN job as a Hospice Admissions Nurse. So excited to start this journey as an RN and hope you guys are excited too!
All information presented in this video are my opinions and views only and in no way reflect West Coast University or the company I work for. The purpose of my channel is to share my experiences and to inspire and help others.
Hey guys! I'd love to make a new FAQs video about WCU post graduating. What questions do you have? It can be anything WCU related and new grad rn questions!
How did you study for assessments, proctored, NCLEX, etc?
Hey! I hope you can answer me!! I need help lol so after you got your BSN at west coast. Are you able to apply to a ER center or Hospital center or you are only able to apply to hospice care centers only ??
Once you have your license you can work anywhere!
Congratulations on the New grad RN position. Excited for you to begin your nursing journey.
Hi Krizia your videos are very informative ! Thank you , I will be taking my hesi exam on Jun 28 at WCU . I am excited to start my journey. Your channel is awesome!
Hey Patricia! Thank you so much for watching! So excited for you! Congrats on starting your nursing journey!
Congratulations! What were you drinking for coffee? Looks good!
What was the hardest term for you? Peds? OB? Did the program feel slow to you?
I felt like med surg and Pharm together was the toughest. It was mentally and physically draining because I had school up to 4 times a week and at times felt like I couldn’t do it. Peds and OB was a different learning curve because you’re not used to the new information. The program felt really fast because every week you had a quiz. Once you took one, you’re already studying for the next one. Once you take a final on a Tuesday, you start the next term the following Monday. Each term lasts about 9 weeks and the 10th week is the final
Versus peds and OB I thought peds was harder because you have to learn about each age group and their developments, and diseases that are common in children. Also, different vital signs for each age! A lot of information and memorizing
