Today we discuss a topic that was going viral on twitter a couple of days ago: Beast Gohan from Dragonball Z vs Mark Grayson from Invincible. The only Dragon Ball vs Invincible match-up that I like is Bardock vs Omni-Man but what you stated in this video applies to that battle. Bardock is stronger and more durable, Omni-Man is faster, and Omni-Man's body breaks the moment he tries to hit Bardock despite Bardock not being able to keep up with him.

I like that you pointed out flying speed being different from fighting speed. I think this is something that death battle doesn't take into consideration. It is a very different thing to move from point A to point B than to utilize that same speed in a fight that would involve chaotic and unpredictable motions.
This can easily be proven by anyone as well.
You running at top speed is fatster than you trying to dodge an attack or throwing a punch because you're focusing on running only.
Attack speed, running speed, reaction speed are all different scale of speed.
writers have confirmed if the cast can fly at those speeds, they’re capable of fighting and reacting to them
The thing with DBZ cast since like day one they could all fight at light speed. When they teleport and you see the distorted lines after, they're literally speed blitzing. Even humans can do it like Krillin

In reality Gohan would just beg him not to fight him even though he’s stronger and it would probably work. One thing I don’t think was considered was how timid Gohan was as a child, even after training and so he was prone to more rash decisions, and only when he was angry enough to fight. If it was at any point when he still had his tail there’s a slim possibility Mark could have eventually figured out it was his weakness assuming for some reason he would continue trying to beat up a small, scared child.

This would also be untrue to Mark's character, though, it's very difficult to see him fighting a kid who yearns for a peaceful resolution... that's one of the ways they mirror eachother, after all.

For future reference, the Virgo supercluster is not the same as the Virgo cluster, the milky way is contained within the Virgo supercluster, so for that point, Omniman could have travelled to any planet nearby and called it a day. So the 3 Billion x FTL number wouldn't be correct.

1) Any distance is conjecture at that point, but the fact that they call it the virgo super cluster rather than Local is likely meant to indicate distance
2) Mark specifies that Viltrum, talescria, etc are in a different galaxy to Earth so at the very least it would be 2 million light years and up since they didn't mention any dwarf galaxies. AND keep in mind that Thraxa was far enough away to be mostly off radar for the CoP despite it having 1750 member planets and thousands more colonies (which doesn't simply include neighboring planets) and the fact that Earth IS on the CoP radar. So that should give some indication of how far it is. Keep in mind that ships could travel between Talescria and Earth in 2 weeks despite them being in separate galaxies as the ships could use wormhole and superliminal tech, but Mark alone was faster. Plus Nolan himself wasn't going top speed and was stopping to think about his actions but still did it in a week.
I really dont think the initial 65 million light years measurement is wrong. It doesn't change the discussion either since DB characters are WAY faster.
3 bliion doesn't make sense at all when red rush was shown as faster than Omni Man, and Omni Man couldn't catch the CIA guy teleporting.
Even ignoring the power scale difference and putting them on even footing in power, Gohan is a better fighter, he's so much more trained in superhuman combat and martial arts than poor Mark it feels unfair.
There's quite literally not a single character in the entirety of the Invinciverse that can even begin to fight or phase Gohan with the sole exception of Atom Eve with her "no powers on organics" limiter removed since she can control matter. But the entire Viltrumite race could come at Gohan, even the entire race before they culled themselves, and they would still get clapped hard.
If Gohan was a Kid maybe Atom Eve could do something lmao anything Cell saga and beyond (just to be super fair) he wouldn't be fazed by her power since DB characters can just resist and negate hax if they're vastly stronger than the person using them. Not just the entire Vultrimite race, but every character in Invincible could come at Gohan and they'd still lose.
NANI, buu is on par to eve if you ask me. His matters powers worked but didn't stop the beat down vegito gave him. Unless she can kill him with them, but that's a whole different debate. The questions is can she come back, and can Gohan sense her. If so her rekts. Remember dB verse has ways to dispose of her deadzone, room of spirit time , and last evil containment and eve fits evil if you ask me. Heck just wish her no more 😆
@@Googleisstupid-sk3hm Except Buu is immensely strong even without his magical abilities. Again, you need the strength to match if your hax are to work against someone like Goku, Gohan, Vegeta etc. Eve herself isn't comparable to these guys stat wise so her abilities aren't going to help her

You're forgetting that dragon ball characters can bypass space manipulation etc depending on how strong they are which is how Goku can still move even when hit stops time. Not to mention we've literally seen DBZ character tank abilities similar to eve. Are you forgetting that buu literally has matter manipulation?
Buu turned gogeta into chocolate and gogeta was still fucking him up to the point where he fazed buu and got reverted back and eve is no where near as strong as buu. Her ability would more than likely not even affect the Saiyan. Note this was also during the bui saga. The DBZ characters are alot stronger now.

That's because unlike Dragon Ball, the Viltrumites are relative to each other. Most nameless Saiyans couldn't even garner the attention of King Vegeta even if they grouped up to attack him
@@lucasbroome1048 I mean, Thraag easily dominates other Viltrumites due to way he was grown and Mark needed sun, mech suit and push to the limit to kill him, as otherwise due overpowers him. I do think Invincible comic is better than the show in regards in how it shows that if you bypass Viltrumits natural durability, you pretty much won.

one thing to add to the travel speed/combat speed debate is that: SPEED IS NOT THE SAME AS ACCELERATION! if you want to travel through empty space as fast as you can, what you want to do is accelerate the first half of the journey and deaccelerate the second half. in a battle you only have at most a couple of seconds to do this. so unless their superpowers include gaining momentum without force then yes travel speed and combat speed are very different
Funnily enough that makes the space travel feat even crazier. Omni-Man was searching for planets so it's not plain ol' acceleration.
The problem with this statement is that space ain’t empty there’s stars, solarsystems full of planets, black hold, super novas space is completely empty
In the vacuum there is no friction/resistance so each time you accelerate all the energy is conserved as speed right so even if you put the same effort in pushing your speed will exponentialy increase.

Yeah, this is an all-around loss for Mark. Like if the only version of Gohan he can beat is before and maybe a little bit after Piccolo's training then is that really a satisfying victory? Mark essentially has to beat him either when he's a baby (not technically but you know what I mean) or when he's just finished training with Piccolo where he lacky any battle experience. It just makes Mark look bad for A, beating up a toddler and B, the fact he can only beat him when he's a toddler.
Have Conquest fight Nappa. They're similar in stats and personality

If they were in the dbz fighters game, where they were both nerfed to be somewhat "equal", that'd be an interesting fight for sure. I'd still be inclined to say gohan would win cause of his martial arts training and the feats in db are kinda broken 😅 should be a cool throw down nonetheless.

Problem is, does Invincible have any sort of transformations or power up methods beyond his base form? even if they're equaled out at the beginning, DBZ has a ludicrous number of ways to stack force multipliers.
For the sake of the argument, let's say they are both balanced out at a Power level of 1000 at base.
Attacks like the Kamehameha have a >2 multiplier. Gohan has multiple levels of super saiyan (up to 100x multiplier) and Ultimate, which removes the stamina concern for the super saiyan states. Generously (for invincible) estimating Ultimate at only being the same 100x as SSJ2, Gohan could still transform and shoot up to 200,000 vs 1000, and start throwing Kamehamehas or Makakasapos around if that fails to turn Invincible into vapor.
Thus, to have an actual contest of martial abilities, you would not only need to balance Gohan down to Invincible's level in base, but also further handicap him by locking him out of basically any form or technique he has that acts as a force multiplier along with probably giving him a nearly lethal dosage of Xanax or a stupid amount of weed to keep him from being able to get any sort of rage boost to jump back up to several times Invincible's level.
In other words, you'd need to basically handicap him with "Only using Mr. Satan approved techniques".
@@josiaharaki7310 ngl, I'm a bigger fan of Mark and the invincible comic (read it forever ago but looved it and the show on amazon so far) but yeah, like I was saying, I know db's kind of broken so gohan would probably woop his ass. Also they're very similar being both half aliens, gohan definitely has the advantage for sure (Unless Mark was like nah I'm taking you into space lol. I think saiyans can't do that right? The durability thing is the biggest issue for me when it comes to Invincible vs anybody, ever since i saw the comic where all those aliens just rush Mark and hit him like a human hitting the ground at terminal velocity. Crazy stuff
Yeah that's cool but gohans first appearance got a power level of 1300. Character with 230 power level blew up the moon mid fight. Viltrimites were killed by much less powerful blasts in the comics. Dragon ball characters are busted. I love the invincible comics but no one in the entire comics could touch roshi, krillan, goku, or yamcha in the first tournament. Thragg would not win even the first tournament in original dragon ball

think of it like this. ray gun to a Goku not on guard with his Ki, it went through his chest.
a laser beam 50,000x stronger than the laser beam bounced off Goku's head and simply gave him a head scratch when he first went ssj1 on namek.
basically Kid gohan could walk through people splatting them too if he had his ki up and wanted to do it.

I mean just how I equate it. Invincible, until potentially his epilogue adult self, could not destroy a planet. Maybe at the stage he killed Thrag you could argue it but I doubt it. Let’s highball and say he could do it, maybe without even too too much difficulty. Beast Gohan is supposed to scale with and even surpass Goku’s MUI at the time. At least in raw power. Goku at the START of super when he first got SSG, was unbelievably weaker then he is when I’m referring. And was alresdy threatening the universe with the aftershocks of punch collisions. Goku is easily universal to multiversal at this point I’d recon. Putting Gohan right up at the higher figured of that.
So someone who can possibly destroy multiple universes through raw power. Versus someone who can destroy planets on his higher figures.

Is nobody going to talk about how this is a literal murder or massacere because Beast Gohan (power scaling works here) can destroy a part of a universe by flicking his finger and wanting too and this is the case because first form frieza can easily destroy a planet with a bit of his energy.
Mark can't beat *any* Gohan, not even baby Gohan. He'd cry super hard and send Mark to the Deadzone.

Goku was able to do universe level speed feats in minutes not weeks at just SSJ3.
The plant that conquest Nolan mark and other guy survived a Star level attack so mark in strength is around 19.5 times as earth but still gohan slams

I like to think that the way flight works in Invincible is somewhat based on gravity, resistance, and acceleration. Like maybe it's harder to fly while near a gravity well, so you can't fly as fast. Plus, on a planet with an atmosphere, there'd be air resistance slowing you down, so it might get too much for some faster flight, ESPECIALLY if they dien't want to just destroy LITERALLY EVERYTHING around themselves as they flew. Also, it's possible that Omniman was CONSTANTLY accelerating for a while which allowed him to have enough time to REACH those potential 3 billion+ ftl speeds. Bet he wasn't instantly 3 billion+ ftl the second he left the Earth's atmosphere.

The 3 billion times the speed of light feat gets more silly the more you seem to use it as the only way Mark has a chance. Omni-man going as far as 65 million light years to another galaxy cluster is impressive, but it's not as impressive when you account for him building up speed after hours and days of travel. Viltrumites can achieve faster than light speeds, but only if they build up speed over an extended journey, and apparently they can eventually achieve mindnumbing speeds over a week, but then he'd need to slow himself down which is also impressive at such speeds. My assumption based on some info and based on how Omni-man and other Viltrumites fight is that they do have very impressive reaction times, and can fight and move faster than the human eye can follow, but for the same reason Omni-man has to take minutes to travel around Earth to different spots, going near the speed of light near any planet with his mass would destroy everything nearby, especially in atmosphere.
I don't think for a second that Omni-man or any viltrumite can go from 0 to 3 billion times the speed of light in combat, that's silly. I think they can achieve faster than sound speeds in an instant as it has been shown, and they can approach half or more of the speed of light in atmosphere, so that's a more realistic combat speed gauge, it ruins the fight you're trying to potray by leaning on the "Mark might just blitz Gohan." I think they're actually very comparable up until after the Saiyan Saga, but even then Gohan has the advantage in terms of using Ki blasts, and even at a surpressed level he's more powerful than Mark. Mark is limited by physical attacks and his own durability, Gohan has every advantage he has but he is just simply capable of outputting more raw energy in the form of physical attacks, plus ki blasts that multiply your max capacity of Ki by around 2x or more if you charge them.
If Piccolo could destroy the moon, utterly vaporizing it with an attack he didn't even charge, you can bet that someone like Radditz could probably destroy the Earth if he charged a technique. 10,000 as a requirement to destroy a planet the size of Earth is not right to me, but narratively I don't care much for those inconsistencies since it's not much of a focus, the jump from city level to planet level happens so quickly that everyone can do it by the Saiyan Saga if they actually tried and practiced for some. When it comes down to it, it's shwon your reaction times and reflexes depend on your power level as well, as soon as Gohan was over 500-1000 in power level, he would then be able to react to Mark, and would be more powerful. Now would he be able to use his strength to 100%, I don't think so most of the time he'd struggle and Mark might hit him a good deal of times, he'd also hurt him more than likely since when you're caught off guard and aren't charged up to near 100%, you are susceptible to damage from weaker fighters, some even as weak as your 20% power.
So basically Saiyan Saga Gohan just claps Mark by standing still while Mark just brakes his arms on Gohan.
@@Super-Saiyan-Blue-Gogeta Potentially. mark and the other viltrumites would be able to hurt Goku before the Saiyan saga, but beyond Raditz, even charging at them at near or faster than the speed of light would result in death on impact and maybe injuries for the Saiyan saga level characters, anything over 500 power level at full power and prepared.
Yeah PL in DB are a little ridiculous. And 10,000 to blow up Earth is hilariously way too high. It takes a PL of roughly 400 (as we don't know the minimum but that's about what Roshi hit with his Kamehameha) to blow up the moon. Earth is just about 4 times larger than the moon. Since nobody seems to be able to answer if PL scales linearly or exponentially, let's go with linear. And if thats the case you'd only need between like... 1,600-2,000 to destroy Earth.
@@Reineerus_The_Rat Seems like it's I initially exponential and then switches to linear after you get to 400 - 1,000. It's definitely strange how Raditz should be dozens of times stronger just like a fight between 20 PL vs 100 PL.
I like Master Roshi's feat a lot more than piccolo's feat of destroying the moon, makes power scaling more consistent. In My opinion, 500 PL - 1,000 PL is when you're able to potentially shatter or vaporize the Earth with a proper technique. Raditz should have been easily capable, so would Nappa for sure.
Vegeta destroying the earth with a charged up Galick gun was him making sure Goku had no chance of stopping it. It'd be reasonable for him to do what King Vegeta did in his filler episode, a flick of your hand, a simple ki blast with intent, or a slightly charged up ki blast technique, so sound the PL of 6,000 - 10,000 is when it's very easy to destroy Earth sized planets and above.
@thomedenay3414 I agree, I don't know why people ever use Piccolo's moon feat as we don't know an exact power level, and Roshi's is more consistent. As for the number, I do feel as though 1,000 might be a little too low to vaporize Earth, but I do feel like, at minimum, you could cause it to pull a Namek with that level. Did we ever get an official Power Level for King Vegeta? In space you can just keep compounding momentum while flying in a straight line. Its like when you go ice scating you could get really fast if you had a long enough stretch. Good luck trying to fight while doing that though.

I think what’s understated in a lot of these character comparison vids especially comparing comics vs manga is manga characters on average know an actual martial art. Obviously fictional stories are different but irl technique can play a lot into beating someone even someone physically stronger.

@@felixlara2945yeah a lot of people forget that gohan even in the saiyan saga was taught by Piccolo who in DB was giving goku, strongest earthling and one of the best martial artists, a tough time. Piccolo has some really interesting techniques. Early dbz he had created a technique that was capable of drilling through multiple objects, or people in the raditz fight case. being able to use techniques that use an attack power even higher than your own is an absolute crazy power. even if gohan's punches can't hurt Mark that much. he's got such a crazy ability up his sleeve that would fry Mark. also we mustn't forget that in the same saga Krillin, who mind you was weaker than Piccolo, ALSO had a crazy strong ability. had Nappa blocked the destructo disk, he'd be dead. Vegeta was genuinely concerned by both the destructo disk and the masenko. remember that Nappa was outright bullying them and even he had to dodge the destructo disk. it sliced clean through a mountain and kept flying into likely space. by the time of namek we are shown that you can direct destructo disks. remember this technique is the technique that scared Nappa and make him bleed from just the edge of it. it made Nappa, who had been barely stratched by tien and his tri beam, bleed.

The problem with invincibles speed feats is that it's shown that they need to accelerate to reach massive speeds as shown with Nolan while he was in the flaxan dimension. Also Nolan couldn't hit Cecil while he was telaporting which he needs a outside force to teleport, so it's not Instantaneous.
I think Invincible's attack potency is planetary plus, but he can't destroy a planet because his fists aren't big enough. Its like saying a sword is more powerful than a bullet only because it can "destroy" a larger surface area. Teen and Adult Gohan murder Invincible though.

I think only frieza and goku get that fast in the namek arc if you scale them off of the spaceships for the reason being king kai could react and see goku traveling in it but when goku was super saiyan he couldn't even sense his movements
This is why it's hard to gauge anything in DB, because clearly nothing is written with consistency in mind, but more "rule-of-cool" or whatever best fits the narrative at that time. "Wow, I can't even follow their movements!" is just a generic "they are currently extremely strong - if not the strongest - relative to this point in the story" thing that is said for dramatic reasons, rather than being an intentional measure of some fixed property of the universe. This is why power levels got so absurd, because they skated a very tenuous line between being presented as something concrete and factual in-universe, yet merely a dramatic device that lacks consequence. Imagine if scouters had a built in speedometer too and imagine how absurd that would be once they got to "lightspeed" and then had to continue getting bizarrely "faster" because the stakes need to continually be raised.

Raditz was outspeeding Goku who in DB was faster than light so by SSJ Goku it's just straight up overkill. you must remember that broly, while not canon in dbz, could throw a single small ki blast at a planet and it would blow up, got beaten by ssj goku. if a small orb of light can blow up a medium or large sized planet. you can bet a 2x kamehameha can blow up a whole solar system or galaxy quadrant by the time of namek. also we genuinely don't know how large the galaxies in db are. broly wiped out a whole quadrant in like a minute while also taking his time mind you. flying around laughing and throwing ki blasts individually definitely wastes time. also I'd like to think that cells solar kamehameha was solar system level, at its weakest. while powered up it would most definitely destroy a galaxy quadrant if not the whole galaxy. which would make sense considering that by the time of the buu saga we were reaching universal level feats. tbh I've been typing this on the fly so if I've been making mistakes then I apologise
I would like to know how a race would evolve to be able to travel between solar systems with ease.
Because we know that evolution only changes a species to be just good enough for a certain purpose and not changing them to the best possible version of them, there would need to be a benefit, a way and a need to evolve that ability for a species and in an acceptable amount of time.

On the topic of durability: look at when krillin tries beating up Perfect cell the first time and cell just stands completely still unphased by what’s happening. Krillin doesn’t break an ankle or his arm, he just doesn’t do anything at all
but its in relation to how hard they are attacking though, if you drop a pillow off a building it probably won't do much to the pillow. but if that pillow is moving 10 times the speed of light then the pillow will explode on impact. The same thing happens to asteroids that hit the moon when they are going a certain speed, in stead of crashing on the moon the speed and smaller size causes the astroid to completely explode rather than land. Immovable object vs unstable force, except sadly for Mark he isn't unstoppable.

With Gohan's much superior skill and techniques. I don't doubt that he could go on the offensive by anticipating Mark's attacks. Especially with ki allowing you to sense the intention of your opponent. It's likely even with the speed disparity, he'd know when his opponent is gonna do something, because his opponent is highly inexperienced in comparison.
The fight is a decent Equalized Stats matchup, but even then Gohan would *still* win due to his wider array of techniques, training and experience.

From the feats we see of piccolo blowing up the moon effortlessly and the fact that the energy for it to travel there the moon destructive blast would have been equivalent to small planet level at that time he only had a power level of 580 which means imagine being at a power level of 10,000 nearly 20x that. The strongest version of gohan he would beat would probably be namek saga gohan before guru unlicked his potential. After guru done that gihan would own him. Guru unlicked some inmer potential that put gohan on the same level as vageta when he was on earth, vageta was alreay planet level by then or above. None of these invincibles are planet level.

Depending on which saga Nolan arrives at I'm pretty sure he would be smart enough to notice the power gap between him and the saiyans and realize he would have to "learn their ways". What I mean is that he would learn how to control his ki in order to have a chance against them. This applies to him as in the DBZ universe every living being possesses ki.
He would act as a hero to gain goku's trust, learn about ki control and ask him to teach him how to utilize it in exchange for daily battles(considering viltrumite stamina is much higher than a saiyan and goku loves to fight)
Now consedering Viltrumite biology is extremely adaptive he wouldn't have much of a hard time learning how to control it and his potential could be quite impressive. I think he could get to Frieza's level but I might be wrong.
Also once he realizes how powerful saiyans are compared to him he would devise a plan to create Viltrumite/Sayans hybrids once he finds a female saiyan(like Gohan's daughter... once she's an adult ofc) thus creating one of the most powerful species in that universe.
The Viltraiyans
Considering Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten and Trunks won't live much longer than humans all he has to do is play hero until they die while spawning more Viltraiyans. Eventually there will be hundreds of millions of them and Nolan learning with Gohan that Saiyans/Human hybrids have much more potential than pure saiyans he would make the Viltraiyans mate with humans. With both Viltrumite and Saiyan dna being dominant their human dna would make up of less than 1% of their total dna. Making the new hybrids 99% Viltraiyans with MUCH more potential. Nolan will teach them the ways of Ki that he learned with Goku and the gang. They will use the time chamber to get stronger much faster and with their lifespans they would train and train for centuries.
Once they populate the whole Earth they will expand their new empire through the galaxy. All hail The Viltraiyan Empire.

I really feel like viltrumites are based off saiyans.
I feel like if we ground the DragonBall characters more, and write off planet destroying as a ki-specific property of their strength, then post-cell Gohan would be a good match up.
The actual strength feats we see in DBZ are much closer to viltrumiyes without ki blasts, which I do think they can at least take.
When we see Marks dad destroy the surface of a planet in the show, I feel like they could actually destroy a planet by flitting straight through it.
So I do think cell saga characters are compatible to viltrumites
The only problem with that is that viltrumites can barely survive being on the surface of the sun whilst someone like frieza can survive the explosion of a huge planet like namek even after being in a near death state. So again if invincible even tries to punch someone as weak as namek saga frieza, he's going kaboom.
Also piccolo blows up the boon with little difficulty with a power lvl of 900. And Gohan in the Saiyan saga has a power of 2800 which is over 2x more powerful than early Saiyan saga piccolo and in dragon ball if you can tank your enemy's attack with no DMG if you're 2x more powerful than them.
Ok the problem with this is even if you chalk it up to ki based power

The only difference between invincible and Gohan is that invincible is always near his max ki since he has no techniques to surpress that power. "How does he open a door without breaking it then" it's a little like how you intentionally lose to an arm wrestling contest with a child. Even when that happens your durability isn't taking a hit. Right after that arm wrestling contest if the child were to punch you with their full strength you would take no DMG. That's how it is.

Once they increase their ki to their max, then they can become strong enough to tank energy blast enough to wipe out stars. They're not using ki reinforce themselves, ki control is just something that these characters use to change their stats and unleash their true power if needed. IT IS NOT A WAY TO REINFORCE THEMSELVES.
The thing about attacking someone more durable causing you to just implode, the attack you throw has to be done at damn near full strength. Like you're out to kill that person, so much so that you literally just cannot stop your momentum once that contact is made.
I'm not saying Invincible could beat any late stage Gohan. But he wouldn't just atomize himself attacking him. Whichever earlier Gohan you pit him against wouldn't really be able to react at all, but he also wouldn't really take significant damage either. This would be about as close to a stalemate as it could get. Gohan can't fight back, and Invincible can't win.
Ki detection. Literally, everything has ki. Even the farmer with a shotgun had ki, but it was so low that it couldn't be detected unless you were searching for it or using a scouter directly on him. With his superpowers, it can be considered a high level of ki that can be detected.
This is nowhere close to a stalemate but okay
Gohan legit can play a tag game with the entire invincible verse and they would lose just by touching him
One thing i kind of begin to question is why these fights happen in fandoms, most people who genuinely know both characters would know these two would never fight.
Like there's no way to trick the two into fighting either because if you go with a gohan mark at his peak could beat he'd be to young for mark to justify even thinking about swinging on, and if you put gohan in one of his older forms that might be easy to 'convince invincible he's a villain' Gohan is to smart to actually go on without talking and informing mark of the deception.

So small problem about the light speed feat and Nolan being able to fight at billions times the speed of light. There are plenty of instances where attacks land that clearly shouldn't if he was capable of such speeds, also this feat isn't replicated again by any other characters even those stronger than Nolan. I think this particular feat is an outlier more than anything else, since it contradicts other things that happen in the story and hasn't been replicated since even when it would be convenient if Nolan or mark could travel that fast.
The only thing I'd argue is that it's worth referencing the crossover between Omniman and Supreme. Supreme is supposed to be silver age superman (sneezing solar systems away kinda goofy) and that really gives at least SOME more context for Mark's power level.
Also the just sheer inconsistency in the Dragonball-verse with durability powerscaling. Ex: Krillin taking a bullet in super, or Goku getting knocked out of a fight by a laser gun.
With how fast Mark is supposed to be, how much more violent his world is, and the inconsistency in durability in dragon ball we might see Mark quickly impaling a teenage Gohan before he can focus his Ki to prevent it from happening.
Ehh? I don't remeber much from krillin's end but goku had his guard completely down after getting exhausted, which gives him a contrived flaw (whis mentions his letting go of his gaurd a lot). A lot of db characters usually naturally have ki barriers around them, with the strength probably depending on how safe they feel(or obviously how much ki they actuall currently have). If this is in a neutral/foreign setting gohan already has it up before the fight starts, especially a younger gohan who just went through harsh training for both vegeta and frieza. Mark is also more morally good, so that instant to 100 doesn't work because he would just think gohan is a normal kid. Now if we are bloodlusting them to make them fight, it kinda still goes the same, gohan has it on already. Mark would probably go to 100 depending how bloodlusted they are, but by that same vein gohan is raging out, unleashing his dormant potential making him even stronger, while having his guard completely up. The main problem with db inconsistency's is it's usually just to fit the current narrative better, or straight up toriyama forgetting lmaooo so using it in actual vs battles can be tricky. There's also the fact gohan cans sense ki. Which can make up for his gaps in speed depending on the speed and predictablity. For Mark to reach speeds like omniman he'd probably have to be more obvious about his attack gohan might be able to react last second and survive, even badly wounded gohan could probably take mark. Mark would definetly have more ki than your usual human since it's basically life energy.
Gohan's durability is inheriantly set at a certain level, he isn't walking around with 0 ki all of the time. Also, Goku getting shot is in his character and was the entire point of the scene about Whis telling him not to let his guard down. That isn't Gohan's character or lesson in this fight. Truth be told it sounds like you're giving Mark plot armor.
Being a planet buster in Dragon Ball does require a power level of ~10,000 for the average planet, that being said, Roshi being moon level at ~150 is because the earth and by extension the moon are tiny in comparison to the rest of the universe

You guys remember that a 5 yr old Gohan fought & held his own against final form freiza when Goku suddenly disappeared after becoming a super saiyan. When Gohan dropped off Piccolo & bulma to the ship he went back to help his dad but found freiza & threw hands with him💀🤌🏻

The whole thing about the warriors exploding on Invincible is a bizarre way of putting it. Invincible still pushes the laws of physics as well as memory can serve for the writer. The warriors didn't explode because Mark was stronger, they broke the way a car crashes into a brick wall. Mark would more than likely break his limbs trying to fight a stronger version of Gohan and not simply blow up and scatter.
While I agree in general, your hypothesis has a critical flaw - dragon ball durability isn't passive. We saw Krillin cause injury (albeit minor) to Goku throwing a rock at him in super saiyan form - it hurt because he wasn't on guard. This opens up the speed blitz, and is the Achilles heel of the saiyans.
If he can catch Gohan off guard that is, he isn't like Frieza you know
I have one small counterpoint to your durability argument. At the end of Invincible episode 1, when Nolan killed the Guardians of the Globe, Red Rush, despite being far less durable than Nolan, was able to punch him in the chest enough times in a very short amount of time cause him internal bleeding without instantly destroying his hands. Sure, Mark would hurt himself from trying to hit Gohan as hard as he can, but I think he could wear him down with enough weaker hits, if Mark can last long enough.
