Today we discuss a more interesting matchup, on if the SCP Foundation would be capable of capturing or containing any of the Z-Fighters from Dragonball? This topic truly has no "correct" answer so make sure to share your own thoughts and ideas on if or how the foundation could capture Goku, Vegeta and the rest of the super warriors!

I think the Foundation would "contain" them without really containing them. Both of the Saiyans as well as Bulma would probably be read in on the Foundations purpose to secure their cooperation with handling other dangerous anamolies. The Saiyans themselves would effectively be mostly self contained, with some work by the Foundation to maintain the secret of their existence from the general public. They'd probably buy the forest that Goku lives in and turn the whole thing into an SCP containment site, keeping civilians out, and then follow/track him whenever he leaves, covering up any crazy incidents that he gets involved in while giving amnestics to any witnesses. The same would be done with Vegeta just with him being "contained" at his home in Capsule Corp. Given how useful the Saiyans would be for containing other dangerous anomalies and their pretty low impact on the world's state of normalcy I think they'd be treated generally like anomalous Foundation associates. I could see Bulma becoming a high ranking member of the Foundation (04) with Capsule Coro serving the role of Vegetas containment site. Alternatively Capsule Corp might remain an independent entity and be classified a group of interest like Anderson's Robotic's, just one with a friendlier and more cooperative relationship with the Foundation.

Dabgerous = dangerous where the n is substituted with b which is located immediately to the left of n on the keyboard. Foiundation = foundation where the letter I, which is immediately to the right of the letter u, gets hit as well and isn't removed by auto correct. Hopefully that explains it well enough for you.

I believe at most they'd be catagorized as potential "Thaumiel" classes or just "euclid" as due to them having sapience (Almost all scps with sapience have a class of atleast euclid or higher.) (This is before im watching the vid fyi)
The issue with using SCP Foundation in arguments is that in the various works it varies wildly. The foundation can range from a bunch of inept mad scientist that struggle to keep a bunch of death row prisoners in check let alone the actual SCPs, to being an all powerful all knowing organization that never makes mistakes and could contain all 4 Warhammer 40k chaos gods with ease.

it's because everything after 2013 is fan-fiction...seriously 90 percent of SCP today is badly written, overpowered drivel. Prior to that it was written quite well, it had thought put into it.

- Krillin is contained by employment in the Foundation as a security and MTF officer. He is deployed as a quick response force during containment breaches at sites around the world, assisting the the recontainment of escaped hostile SCPs. He also assists MTFs in the field when new hostile SCPs are encountered.
- Android 18 is self contained at an Foundation owned mansion provided freely to her and Krillin to live in. This mansion is located near whatever foundation site 682 is held at, in a town populated by Foundation employees who work at the that site and their families. Location chosen to minimize any anomalous actions she performs being witnesses by civilians. Additionally, in the event of 682 breaching containment and escaping the facility, the nearest population center it would naturally travel to will be the one where 18 lives, and she, not tolerating a threat to her daughter, will quickly engage the creature.
- Android 17 is self contained on the island he already worked at. The foundation takes control of the island from the national park service. 17 is employed by the Foundation, transitioning from park ranger to site security chief. His Zoologist wife is employed by the Foundation as the islands site director, overseeing other Foundation scientists stationed there to study the anomalous wild life.
- Master Roshi is self contained on his private island. Foundation naval assets patrol the ocean in a 20 mile perimeter around the island to prevent civilian and other government vessels from stumbling across it. Roshi is occasionally contacted to assist in containment of other SCPs with his Mafu-Ba sealing technique. He is compensated with pornographic materials.
- Gohan is contained via employment by the Foundation as a member of Research/Science staff. He also assists security and MTFs in the event of containment breaches at his site or when global threats are encountered.
- Tien/Chiaotzu are self contained in their home dojo and neighboring isolated community, which is itself populated with anomalous magic using ninjas and Tiens Ki using students. The isolated mountain town is essentially self contained already and the Foundation merely monitors and controls civilian road and foot traffic attempting to reach the town/dojo. In exchange for providing certain material goods, such as food imports, the Foundation has an open invitation to send security and MTF personnel to the dojo for training.
- Majin Buu. Hercule Satan is secretly a Foundation asset with a degree in child psychology. He has an ongoing assignment to be Majin Buu's handler. Majin Buu is contained by regular pacification and induced periods of slumber. This is achieved by a weekly thaumaturgic ritual in which several metric tons of candy and sweets are summoned at his location, wherever that might be, from the elemental plane of sugar.

@@thenopalzz hard to say. He's unlike the rest of the DBZ cast in that he lives a life very much in the public eye as a major league baseball player. His power and connections with the other Z fighters make the physical improvement kind of containment impractical, both due to the difficulty in actually pulling it off and the potential of making his friends hostile to the Foundation. I also don't see him as the type to take up employment directly with the Foundation like Krillin/Gohan/17. Maybe they treat him the way some SCP stories imply they treat low power reality warpers? There's a story on the site I read once where Dr. Cleff described the levels or stages that reality warpers go through, with most never even realizing they have powers and of those who do most only end up using it in minor ways to improve their otherwise normal daily life, and Foundation settles for just monitoring them from afar. Since Yamcha doesn't seem to use his powers publicly in a way that is obvious, outside of big crisis events where he helps defend the world, I think the Foundation would probably settle for leaving him be. An unusually good baseball player isn't much of a threat to normalcy after all, so long as he isn't pulling a Gohan and flying 30 feet in the air to catch a ball then hovering in place for 30 seconds like a damn idiot.
You know what this made me think about? In a hypothetical setting where SCP exists in the DB world, Baba's Palace may actually be a containment site. She clearly has a number of highly anomalous beings in her care, and as far as we can tell they don't leave the grounds. And with her magic, if she's treated as an SCP asset, she'd be astoundingly valuable, especially with her powers to connect directly to the afterlife.
Also Muten Roshi is a believable practicioner of containment with his Mafuba technique which would have even been a strong enough technique to capture Zamasu, would they have not forgotten the plug.

I wonder if SCPs like SCP-2718 would even exist since the afterlife does exist in DB.
@HarambaeXelonmuskfans There's a theory that SCP-2718 is not how the afterlife actually works, but is instead purely a cognitohazard as penalty for reviving the dead.
With that in mind, it's probably not possible for it to exist in Dragon Ball, considering communication with the afterlife has been a thing since Baba in the original Dragon Ball, and anything akin to 2718 would pretty clearly be something completely unrelated to death.
Considering how many major threats to humanity they've actively gone out of their way to prevent, I think they would just be classified as Archon.
Fr. They'd probably just "contain" Goku & Vegeta by keeping them content with food & gyms, taking care of their families, and using them as vital assets to protect against threats & contain other SCPs.
Only way they keep them there is by making their arms immobile or keep their mind on one thing so they can’t use instant transmission or transformations such as ultra ego or instinct as instinct needs to have a clear mind or ego requires a mindset only on destruction

The problem with containing the goku and vegeta is that there are like 50 people who would be trying to break them out, and would know exactly where they are by sensing their ki, even if they forget how to use it.
Lol also god help SCP if Broly, Beerus or Whis get involved in all this in some way.

The problem with this idea is that if we’re placing the SCP foundation into the Dragon World Goku and his crew aren’t anomalous in nature, things like Gero’s infinite engine, Cell, Zamasu, Buu, and Moro would be their targets. In fact you’d probably have most the MTF learning Ki Control
Ki based superpowers wouldn't be considered anomalous, but the Foundation would likely still consider Goku and company to be anomalously powerful. Normal ki trained humans in the dragon ball universe can't destroy planets, let alone solar systems or potentially even the entire universe. Remember way back in the early days of the franchise, when Roshi was considered the strongest human in the world at a power level of 139, compared to the human average of 5-10? It took him 300 years to become that strong. Goku having a power level over 8,000 at the age of 23 would be considered a terrifying freak of nature and an existential threat to humanity to the DBZ Foundation. The Z-fighters would absolutely be treated as anomalous demi-gods with their seemingly infinite power growth throughout the series.

That's the biggest problem with this video premise that the Z-Fighters shouldn't be considered as anomalies as they had a reason to exist alongside the science behind. At most, the Foundation would just keep an eye on them
There's an often forgotten ability that Saiyans have that they have an extremely strong sense of smell. If the foundation wanted to anesthetize they'd have to make sure it's odourless otherwise they'd smell something wrong with their food. The other option is adding extremely small amounts and essentially slowly dosing them over a very long period of time.
this is where I would ask. if they slowly add it over time... wouldn't they lose memory's slowly? Goku would question if he's forgetting something and would just pass it as whatever not a big issue... Vegeta? he would probably notice something is wrong after a while.
at that point it's up to him to figure it out carefully.

What of hostile intent? goku could sense hostile intent as early as Frieza's attempt to return. Let's also ignore that Goku knew that Trunks was in combat with Frieza meaning he has a way of knowing what's going on light-years away from his current location.

Tbh, if the Foundation existed within the world of Dragon Ball, I'm not even sure if the Saiyans would be considered anomalous. Most of their abilities are just based on their ability to manipulate ki, an energy source that all life forms possess and as such would be non-anomalous. While the knowledge of ki manipulation is very limited, it's not new with Mutaito having practiced it roughly 300 years before the start of Dragonball, and it's something any sufficiently proficient martial artist can perform the basics of with a few days proper training as showed by Videl. Even though the Foundation would likely think such an ability was anomalous at first, a few experiments with teaching a few baseline MTF members how to fly would disprove that rather quickly.

@@l9324 I don't think that would work. It's not like they need to keep using "reality bending" after being teleported. They don't have that anyways so it would have to be by some super ultra rare wormhole or some shit. But let's say they somehow have the dragon balls with em, then the SRA's could be used to block the reality bending from the dragon. That way, they can't keep using the dragon balls without a work around.
Given Goku’s personality and abilities, the Foundation might actually attempt to *recruit* him for an experimental MTF unit using friendly entities. During the downtime, goku could possibly enjoy training Dr. Jack Bright to use certain ki-based abilities such as the Kamehameha, especially since Bright can swap bodies with the Amulet

Another problem is that it isn't enough with containing them. If Goku and Vegeta vanishes, then all the other Z warriors will notice. They can sense KI and find them. Even worst, beings like Bills and Whis have a relationship with them. The latter is specially dangerous because Whis might already know everything about SCP, and will never ever lower his guard, due to his natural ultra instinct.
if they managed to contain beerus they just see whis show up wherever they contained beerus at with zero warning, then just as fast their gone, what could they do to whis? he can move at warp speed, rewind time, and has ultra instinct, not to mention he's a walking deus ex machina lol

@@RandomGuy-eg8zs You are right, there is no reason for them to be involved, but even then, there is still that chance because they are friends. For example, they did get involve when Frieza destroyed Earth. The angels can't be involved, but Beerus can.
The hardest problem to overcome is actually the Dragon Balls themselves, Goku has helped so *many* people that it would be near impossible for the SCP to find and contain them all at once. If it isn't Bulma, then people off-world like Shin or even Broly and Cheelai could get concerned, and use the Dragon Balls to instantly break Goku and Vegeta out of prison, and reverse any damage that has been done to them.

But the Foundation also contain dangerous objects that may harm the humanity, so they most likely would try to secure the Dragon Balls among their facilities too once they discover about them.

The video title states "The Z Fighters" but the video seems to mainly focus on Goku and Vegeta. While the "lure them in with the promise of fighting a strong foe then feed them amnestics" idea would certainly work on them, and similar strategies could also be used against Roshi, Tien, and Yamcha, they would have a much harder time with the smarter ZFighters: Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin. We don't even know if foundation amnestics would work on Namekians due to the biological differences. They might be able to use the cognitohazard to deal with them, but it's a gamble. The O-5 council might choose to just bite the bullet and try to work with the Z-Fighters as Thaumiel SCPs. Especially since techniques like the Evil Containment Wave could be used to contain some Keter SCPs more effectively.

Agreed. The biggest issue with the plan is having to do it more than once. It'd work really well the first time but unless they got everyone in one go by the second or third group no one would buy it. Also I'm pretty sure food isn't a must for namekians in general and if we're counting the androids as well it becomes a massive hassle to ensure EVERYONE gets hit without anyone slipping though and undoing all their work

they might not even work on saiyans bc they also aren't humans and don't know all of the biological differences between saiyans and humans. A small change in the body(mainly the brain) might make the amnestics not work(idk much about how the amnestics work).
I think it would be more interesting if the dragon balls themselves were to be contained, as wish granting orbs are right at home in the SCP canon.
They're sort of already contained in the Dragon Ball universe. To prevent people from making evil wishes with them, Bulma gathers them up and wishes for something stupid but harmless whenever they show up.

i actually think Vegeta would be smart enough to realize its a trick. he could easily read that something just isn't right with the foundation with all of their secret labs with weird creatures in them. Goku might be more loose about it but Vegeta would start asking questions and connect the pieces and realize its a ploy
Probably the most accurate thing said on here. Vegeta has a knack for sniffing out or sensing danger.
The betrayed and trapped videos are honestly pretty hilarious at times with how absurd the titles got but some of the stories were genuinely entertaining if they played their cards right and focused primarily on character interactions/grounding the story. I kinda like listening to them as bedtime stories for some reason.

Just a slight correction: "Apollyon" is a classification designated to objects not only impossible to contain, but also being an immediate threat to the world, capable of destroying it unimpeded. If a SCP is just impossible to contain, be it harmless or not (as long as it's not an absolute doomsday machine), is still considered Keter.

For instance, the Malfunctioning Destroyer in Jupiter. Nobody can conceivably contain it to prevent escape or keep it from attacking somehow, but it can simply be hidden and have things left at that for the most part.

Not exactly. Apollyon is for anomalies that will destroy the world, no matter what the foundation (or others) tries. If an anomaly has the potential to destroy the world but doesn't do it (be it their preference not to or their attempts can be halted), it is not an Apollyon.
The Apollyon class is more of a prophecy than a functional classification. Doomsday will happen by their hands, and there's nothing the foundation can do about it. That's why they're considered "esoteric classes", extra classes that complement the main three (Safe, Euclid and Keter).

I feel like trying to recruit Vageta and Goku are the least volatile way to containing them.
Tell them about a machine that gives alien snacks, one that can brew any drink, offer them the box of never ending pizza, and introduce them to 999, and they may never want to leave. I just hope that they never find out about the cruel experiments and containment methods. That would lead to them ending the SCP foundation building(s) that they know about.
yep, would work on pretty much any version of goku and buu saga+ vegeta and have them be more of a time patroller or galactic patrol deal than an active threat
I think they would just treat Goku and Vegeta as Thaumiel class, sending them off to fight specially strong anomalies or just contain a breach. No reason to deny the extra help they would provide.
I think Vegeta would eventually catch on. He's not an idiot. That would end badly for the SCP though. Vegeta isn't the type of guy who takes kindly to being tricked and at that point mercy would be out of the question.
Theres also like every other z fighter, piccolo could destroy the scp foundation, or krillin tien and etc. could go and break goku & vegeta out, frieza could go there and kill every scp worker quickly, even beerus could intervene if he cares enough about goku and vegeta. And no amount of dementia toxins or whatever will ever be able to keep themselves safe.

I feel like if we're basing this off a version of the foundation that carefully considers how to handle each potential subject, there's a good chance they might come to the conclusion that since Goku and Vegeta's desire to protect the Earth and humanity lines up with their own, doing something to nullify their powers would be deemed as detrimental to their cause. A logical alternative therefore would be to find a way to "contain" them by hiring them as SCP agents, such as in the case of Dr, Bright who despite being an SCP regularly assists the foundation with their work.
In Goku's case, some research might find that he's not exactly rich and whenever he does happen on some money he has a tendency of spending it very quickly, mostly on food. His fighting spirit would be evident through his entry into tournaments and the resistance he puts up to those who would threaten the planet. Agents would therefore likely approach him with the proposal that if he joins the foundation, they will pay him to train and fight powerful foes. Best of all, he doesn't even have to kill them because the whole point is to contain them. With the prospect of keeping Chichi happy from having a steady source of income and he gets to train all he wants and do lots of non-lethal fighting, it's unlikely that he would turn down such a proposition.
Vegeta would be more difficult to convince. Foundation research would quickly discover his ties to the Briefs family, indicating that he's definitely not short on funding. He's also got a stubborn and arrogant personality, and would likely consider the foundation to be silly and inconsequential. If approached by unprepared agents with an employment proposition, they would likely be met by the cold response that he's not interested and that the entire thing sounds like a waste of time. Letting it slip that Goku has already joined up would probably only further convince him not to join, as he would see it as an opportunity to provoke the foundation into sending Goku to capture him so that the two can fight as rivals.
Instead, a better approach would probably be to get in touch with his wife, Bulma. By making her aware of what the foundation is and does, what kinds of things they are currently containing, and that Vegeta's assistance in ensuring such things stay contained is in everyone's best interest, there's a chance that she might agree and insist to Vegeta that this is the perfect opportunity to start working a real job instead of living like a freeloader.

I think its just a filler, but the snake princess on Snake way did try to drug goku through food and it had no effect. And as shown with Vegeta in both Buu saga and Super, Mind control doesnt really work. They could try to contain them, but eventually they would realize they cant and leaving them uncontained would be better for the Universe as a whole. The power of Vegeta and Goku are on a Universal level at this point and i really dont think the SCP foundation can come anywhere close to containing them.
Since SCP is a creative writing project, it becomes less of a question of could the foundation contain it, and rather how would they? If you’ve ever tried creating your own SCP you are heavily encouraged to allow your anomaly to be contained in some way or partially, as one of the only rules in SCP is that the foundation will stop at nothing to accomplish their goals, so they won’t just give up if they have some way to at least partially contain/nullify the effects of something.
I am trying to make more own scp and the contaminant of the guy is weird basically he has a unique cell not because of his power but because of the side effects of the power every time he dies he goes back in time to a save point and remembers everything that happened beforehand and he does have slight immortality just he can still die however every time he does he gets a bit more insane depending on his death shot in the heart he’ll be normal just with a twitch in the head however it’ll be the equivalent a panic attack so basically his cells needs to be soft enough and easy enough to clean/so he doesn’t hurt himself and to him he thinks he’s living on a farm house that’s oddly safer than a normal house he knows where he is but he doesn’t question it since hey they keep him safe and help him all he has to do is listen

I think the foundation already uses anomalous tech to keep themselves hidden from other groups of interest. But they've been breached before so that's not exactly full proof.

You have to take into account that as sentient entities who are fairly reasonable, Goku, Vegeta, and the like can be negotiated with. Additionally, a lot of DB characters are fully capable of busting planets, sometimes even as collateral damage, and as such would only be able to be contained by some of the most powerful versions of the Foundation that exist in the SCP mythos. At the end of the day, Goku and Vegata are pretty invested in the survival of Earth and humanity, and as incredibly powerful individuals with "anomalous" capabilities, it's not only possible, but likely, that the Foundation would just negotiate with them, using them to contain other poweful anomalies that can/are threatening humanity and/or the Earth, while keeping their existence, or at least the extent of their power, a secret from the public through a combination of misinformation campaigns, coverups, such actions as purchasing the land around where they live and/or keeping civilians away from said residences, and amnestics. Under such an arrangement, the Saiyans, and even the other Z-Fighters, would be classified as Thaumiel SCPs that are "contained" via their negotiated cooperation with the Foundation and the fact that they're kept from being public knowledge.

Strength isn't everything. SCP Foundation has a ton of SCPs they could use to catch the Z fighters or incapacitate them, but I do think it wouldn't be worth it since the Z fighters regularly save the world. So it'd be best for them to just mark all the Z fighters as Thaumiel class. Bulma would prob be the one to talk to the SCP foundation and give them information for their records.

I honestly gotta say no, while they probably couple keep them down for a month or two once they forget who they are, it's only a matter of time before someone starts asking questions. Be it Beerus, who would probably find it strange his rivals suddenly disappeared with no trace, Chi-Chi or Bulma who are looking for their husbands (and would probably end up either using shenron to find their location, putting the entire building in jeopardy, or ask whis to locate them, which would be even worse cuz at that point they couldn't even try to kill or silence them or stop them from retrieving the saiyan duo.) Not even mentioning goku legit just has a button that sends him to zeno or zeno to him (which, the foundadtion would probably confescate and end up testing, only to either send numerous D-Class into the realm of the omni-king, and would have zeno or the grand priest to deal with, or would have to deal with a VERY angry zeno running rampant on earth because his best friend doesn't know who he is anymore and doesn't have his powers anymore.) So unless you have a scenario in mind where they not only contain both beerus AND whis AND any other godly figures in dragon ball that would have a reason to go looking for goku and vegeta, they won't stay contained for long.
If the foundation was bent on getting them contained, then it wouldn't be implausible for them to figure out how the Mafuuba technique works. It would be a method of containment that could work on other SCP that are considered to dangerous for conventional containment like SCP-096.

@dane1382 Goku becomes slightly evil or "not pure-hearted" when he enters SSJ form due to inherent arrogance that the transformation induces. So he can't use Nimbus cloud and could potentially be sealed with Mafuuba when transformed into Super Saiyan.
If the Foundation were to even contain Goku and Vegeta by trying to mind control/brainwash them, they'd still have problems keeping them under wraps. Even when swapped with a completely different mind, Goku's body alone contains his natural urge to fight, get stronger and his ambition. Even Goku Black struggled to keep these urges under control

It really depends, there's different types and levels of cognitohazards in the scpverse as he points out... There's mind control, where someone is occupying your mind, and then there's some that straight up kill the actual identity of the person and replace it with something else or start from a blank slate... There's also some with less obvious immediate effects, where the person doesn't really change over night, but rather has a gradual shift in the way they percieve the world, themselves, or their memories
I think the most likely containment scenario is one where they covertly keep an eye on them and call that containment. There would be way too much risk to the foundation to even attempt to contain Goku. Vegeta isn't gullible, either and would be more likely to just end them. They would probably just call their homes containment zones and monitor them. They would pretty much have free rain like 343. That or try to recruit them to partial agents of the foundation if anything too bad happens.
They'd probably bait them with food, yeah. The Foundation rarely lets Keter threats interact with one another cuz it could lead to disastrous events/developments. For instance, letting someone like Goku fight with 682 would not be advisable simply because the lizard has the tendency to quickly adapt and overpower its enemy (there was one time it grew to the size of a sun iirc).
This is exactly what I was thinking. All it takes is one SCP that can possess, control or manipulate Goku for him to be an immediate threat to all of humanity or the foundation.

The hypothetical scenarios hinges on what level of knowledge the SCP Foundation gathered on the Z Fighters (and apparently the hyper fixation on Goku/Vegeta, even though the entire group would be worth investigating). If they have basic Red Ribbon Army level of intelligence where they just see the Z Fighters as a bunch of goons, they're gonna go down like every Android built to kill them. But, if they did their proper research, they'd realize there's more value for them as allies rather than a full containment.
Because there's so many ways the plan could backfire if they attempted to trick/contain any of the Z Fighters. If only Goku/Vegeta, Piccolo or Gohan would find out and use the Dragonballs to undo the damage... Then the SCP is screwed. If they decide to somehow also capture Piccolo and Gohan while Goku and Vegeta are captured, again... The Dragonballs would eventually be used. If they tried to gather the Dragonballs, then Bulma would notice and contact backup before the SCP could properly set up that plan. Even if they captured every Z Fighter and person on Earth that knows them and then gathered the Dragonballs, Whis and Beruis would eventually stop by the planet and find them all to bust them out... Or destroy the planet, depending on if this took plance before or after Battle of the Gods. So the data would reflect that containment for these intities are not only difficult, but would prove more harmful than it is worth.
I'm not quite sure how easily it is for a Saiyan's mind to be altered, whether on a physical or metaphysical level. This was shown with Babidi trying to control Vegeta, and despite Vegeta giving Babidi full access to him mind; Babidi couldn't force Vegeta to do anything that he didn't want to do. Babidi is an extremely powerful sorcerer, and was able to completely force the Demon King, a being stronger than the Supreme Kai, to do his every whim. He was also shown to be able to teleport spaceships across the universe and had barriers strong enough to stop Buu's and Vegeta's explosions. With all this taken into account, the fact that Vegeta still withstood the Mind change/control of such a powerful being is astonishing. So I can say that the SCP foundation wouldn't have a chance to alter a Saiyan's mind on the metaphysical level.
We should take into account that Goku's ability to read minds and speak telepathically with his seemingly limited psychic powers would offer him some resistance to the amnestics, assuming that they would work on Saiyan biology in the first place. However, a much less discussed topic is that Goku is a surprisingly strong empath. His ability to sense evil ki and intent would definitely tell him that something is wrong.
Also, with the SCPs foundations way of dosing his food requiring him to go to their facilities; I have zero doubt that Goku wouldn't be able to sense that something is wrong, between all the entities, the D class, and the scientists themselves; the place would be an amalgamation of a horrifying stench of evil ki to anyone with ki sensing abilities. Even though Goku can be naïve and dumb at times, this certainly wouldn't get past literally any of the other Z fighters. Not to mention that Piccolo doesn't eat, and certainly wouldn't accept water from the foundation.
Finally with your reasoning of how the Z fighters wouldn't be able to find the Foundation, as mentioned above there is no chance that they would have missed the deep swirling pits of evil across the globe, and certainly would have checked them out and/or destroyed them if provoked. Even if they had some form of Ki-cloaking technology (Extremely improbable) Goku/Vegeta/Gohan/Piccolo's ki sense has gotten so powerful that they still couldn't hide.
Power scaling in dragon ball is pretty simple: if one character has opened hax' abilities going up against another character that is really stronger than the other, then the hard abilities can be nullified for some reason

I kinda get the feeling that SCP wouldn't really bother with the Z Fighters. Assuming the foundation is competent I think its more likely that the foundation would just kinda leave them be while cleaning up the mess left behind from the fights with world threatening things. After all, The Z fighters do protect Earth and by extetntion Humanity which dose align with the SCP Foundations own goals, like having agents they don't have to pay
I think there are two other important things to note:
1) SCP’s aren’t always contained consistently, often times with things like 343 allowing themselves to be contained. With things like Instant Transmission, as well as plain strength, I feel like this is possible. Often, the foundation simply wants to perform tests on SCPs. I believe that they would simply house a room, “contain” them with food, and allow them to roam free.
2) I do not think amnestics would be necessary for forceful containment. The saiyans have shown vulnerability to relatively light poison before, and I’m willing to bet they could be kept under constant sedation essentially permanently using the whole food trick.
Honestly I never knew I wanted a Toriyama interpretation of the SCP foundation in Dragon Ball, but I really want it. The paranormal, scifi horror, and occasional Dr. Slump levels of weird that happen in DB could translate really well into a cannon SCP equivalent. Especially mixed with classic DB goofs. Hell, the Galactic Patrol is basically filling the SCP role but from a macro-cosmic perspective. The more I think about it, I think the SCP narrative is generally presented from a human perspective; so there could be room in the lore for aliens, gods, and other immaculate beings. They could be a Red-Ribbon situation but more of a neutral entity that sometimes has beef with the Z-squad et al. for whatever reason/s. I'll take any excuse for more wacky adventures with my favorite monkey men.
My favorite part of watching the What if scenarios involving being trapped in the time chamber is that canon Dragon Ball literally confirmed that it would not be possible for someone like Goku/Vegeta to be stuck in it for so long. As you showed, Buu literally screamed so loud and powerfully that it ripped a whole back to Kami's lookout, and the clash between Gogeta and Broly broke out/shattered reality, then broke back into it.
I find it borderline impossible for someone as strong as Goku or Vegeta to be stuck there.

Reminder that Goku was poisoned and knocked out by that Freeza-looking guy in Super, and also nearly killed by a laser gun. These events showed that having insane power levels doesn't mean they're immune to any "minor" threats, specially when their guard is down.
Vegeta would be a better bet for immunity. He's an alien invader. Not only has he been seen eating extraterrestrial organisms, but it's also safe to assume that he's probably received Grade F antibiotics, with F standing for Frieza.

The way i see it, the SCP foundation would have attempted to contain Goku as a kid (if the Red Ribbon Army was aware of Goku as a kid and considered him a threat then, no way in hell will the SCP foundation not know about him). Eventually, Radditz no matter what would come to Earth, and even if the SCP foundation found a way to contain him, Vegeta and Nappa would surely investigate his disappearence. They second they land on Earth it's game over, no way in hell they're gonna listen to a random corperation on an under-developed planet, they've slaughtered for less.

@@josipjakopcic7073 NOBODY is very much a wild card. NOBODY does indeed usually assist the foundation, but has also been known to undermine the foundations efforts. The only thing that is consistent is that NOBODY takes a non-violent approach towards the foundation.
Also the issue with NOBODY is that not much is known for certain as all data is inconclusive. Low balling NOBODY would put him around the same level as Kami, and high balling NOBODY is basically all powerful and all knowing effectively making him God.
If it’s between the Earth being destroyed or Vegeta and Nappa dying they won’t try to contain them any longer. Quite simply, the foundation has plenty of tools to end a Saiyan because many SCP can do their thing without worrying about overpowering anything and just do what they do. Reality Warpers are just a simple straight forward example, would just be able to make it so they can’t access Ki anymore because they wanted to. They could use a localized effect of the sound that causes matter to become destroyed (don’t remember the SCP), as they can localize it with a counter frequency to keep the sound from ever affecting the rest of the Earth. If it’s a straight up fight, the Foundation has too many tools that simple bypass the raw power of a Saiyan, and are way too good at their job and have the advantage of surprise

To be honest, I kinda feel like they wouldn't try to contain them because they can use ki, but rather cause they are aliens. As in Dragon Ball literally anyone can learn to use ki, and many humans have when Goku does the Spirit Bomb on Kid Buu. So in the Dragon Ball universe, ki is a fundamental rule of life. I could also see them going after some of the other characters such as the androids, Baba Yaga, Master Roshi, Launch (maybe), Oolong and definitely the namekians, as they use magic along side ki and have healing capabilities.
The main issue is that you only coveted the Saiyans specifically; the rest of the Z-Fighters, namely Piccolo, would still need to be checked.

A common tool in the SCP Foundation's arsenal are reality anchors, which inhibit and/or disable anomalous effects. Should these work on Sayan powers, they would be very effective in containing them.

Not because Goku and Vegeta could negate it with hacks, but because reality anchors only work against scps that bend reality to begin with, they don't negate all anomalies effects but anomalies that specifically bend reality. Otherwise they would use these in every form of containment. Goku and Vegeta don't bend reality.

Not really, the foundation has some sites that are powerful enough to take down and kill the Scarlet King, and he shook all of fiction by waking up. It would be pretty annoying for them, especially because they could have had them as teammates.

Foundation personnel are usually pretty smart. In my honest opinion, they would probably understand Goku & Vegeta's characters, and go through peaceful negotiations, maybe even trading Capsule Corp tech along the way. In addition tho this, it's extremely likely that the Saiyans would be used to contain other SCPs who prove troublesome to either the organization or all of humanity.
With the understanding of how ridiculously powerful the Saiyans are, they either wouldn't attempt to contain them, or as stated previously, would work alongside them to keep them content (and thus allied with the foundation). Caring for the Saiyans' families, feeding them, and offering an immense training area with weight rooms, martial arts dojos, etc would probably be in the works too.
I think the 0-5 would salivate at Capsule tech to be able to safely transport SCPs

So the big thing here, and that really works against them, is that goku and vegeta have allies that are infinitely harder to capture and trick than they are. All it'd take is king kai waking goku up to the fact he's in danger after a while and suddenly they need a whole new game plan. Being decently well versed in SCP stuff and Dragon ball Goku would mostly be categorized as an object extremely resistant to reality warping. I forget the exact name but I do know many objects in the SCP universe have a constant scale of what level of reality bending they can handle. Between all of his and vegeta's feats I definitely think they classify as that, with cognito hazards being relatively unreliable but possibly more effective against goku. Where as Vegeta has outright broken free of mind control after willingly selling his soul to the devil.
In that regard, and knowing their personalities, I agree with some of the other comments here. The SCP foundation would likely classify them as thomual considering they're almost single handedly 'containing' several other god like entities. SCP foundation wouldn't have been able to do anything about Frieza, Cell, Buu, or Beerus and on the more extreme end of things the tournament of power proved even if they could contain those threats their universe goes away the second some greater god decides it. Combine that with the fact none of Z fighters are actually after fame and I see the SCP foundation bribing them to keep their fights off earth if at all possible. Trying to contain them, even in the fashion you suggested, makes the earth infinitely more vulnerable and in a universe like DBZ the literal only thing keeping the earth intact is the fact that fighting in space seems to universally seen as uncomfortable. As seen in Resurrection F, the moment they get tired of fighting the earth is gone. The heroes don't even get enough time to try to stop them before something terrible has happened.
I honestly think the foundation would more so try to use the saiyans to help contain or neutralize other threats. From what I’ve read it seems like if they see a benevolent entity they see how that entity could help
It's possible, but I wouldn't count on it either. They've certainly dropped the ball a a few times pissing off otherwise easy to contain SCPs.

Goku and vegeta are effectively uncontainable. However, they don't need to be contained. The scp would mainly be doing the dragon's job in mass amnesia for the regular folks when goku and vegeta need to go all out against other scps/other threats.

If the scp foundation knows about Goku and Vegeta, and their adventures, presumably they know about the dragon balls, and how they work, I see Dr Bright taking a dragon radar, (both red ribbon and pilaf gang had less potent radars than the briefs) and going off on a grand tour (pun intended) to gather the dragon balls, and either wish for the Saiyan's to be captured or wish for knowledge to capture them.
as an interesting tangent from this thought experiment, vegeta's forced fission ability, learned on yardrat when he picked up instant transmission, would in theory be able to undo a number of things. The first one that I really think of though is removing Dr. Bright's soul from the amulet, which depending upon the canon and who is being asked, is something the foundation or at times bright himself wants. It might also be able to revert faeries stealing peoples names depending upon interpretation.
From what I understand, when the fae do stuff like steal names, the stolen name effects the target on an existential scale, not just a spiritual or physical threat, though the amulet is definitely on the table since vegeta is capable of effecting regular magic with spirit fission
I think this theory overlooked two critical aspects that change the game pretty substantially: Z Fighters and Family members who aren't Goku and Vegeta, and The Dragon Balls. With the Foundation's capabilities as described, handling Goku and Vegeta alone is a sizable struggle, but if they don't factor in people like Piccolo or Gohan or even Krillin, then their plan would fall apart at first contact. Furthermore, if the Foundation misses a spot anywhere in the Z Fighter's extended social circle- like, say, Bulma or King Kai, or even potentially a villain like Frieza, then someone will eventually bring out the Dragon Balls to bring back the planet's two heaviest hitters who suddenly went missing because some new crisis needs their attention (or in aforementioned villain example, the wisher wants payback somehow), which would bust them out of containment just like that and render the Foundation's hard work all for nothing. But on the flip side, those same Dragon Balls can provide a handy source of fool-proof containment for god knows how many problematic SCPs; Would the Foundation really overlook that kind of potential? Certainly, they'd qualify as an SCP themselves, but using SCPs to contain SCPs is, as the Thaumiel designation proves, on the table.

@@Coid I mentioned this in another thread, but basically I said something like how the foundation would be smart enough to not only catch wind of the dragon balls, but also be able to develop their own dragon radar to track the rest down.
But I also mentioned how the Z fighters would know about this, and try to possibly find them before the foundation does and lock them away from detection, kinda like what Pilaf did in early dragon ball with the special box he had.

How to contain Vegeta:
Put him in the same room as goku

There's also the "Archon" Object Class, which basically means "Identified and classified. Possible to contain, but deliberately not contained."
Considering the absurd amount of resources and research they'd need to do to ensure that there's absolutely no possibility of escape for the saiyans, which is tough since they could theoretically just kill themselves, go to King kais planet, talk to the namekians via telepathy and be revived with their dragonballs, I firmly believe the foundation would heavily consider the fact that the Z fighters can exist in human society peacefully, even Vegeta.
The only times they cause issues is literally when other major threats to the entire planet/galaxy/universe pop up first.
In times of peace they're so well adapted, even Vegeta, that no one aside from a handful of the population really even knows of their existence too well. So I could see them simply cooperating with the Z fighters as much as possible so they don't have to start relying on other SCP's to contain them.
Like how is the SCP foundation going to contain the AFTERLIFE and an entire species on a distant planet? I know there are SCP's with the power to easily do so, but I severely doubt the foundation could force those particular SCP's to do anything they want in the first place given the absurd amount of normal breaches in security they deal with.
Goku can sense malicious intent through ki though you could argue he wouldn't care, but then you still have the issue of somone like dende who can literally see everything on earth just seeing that something is up once they are gone for a while and then just using the dragon balls to undue any containment. Also i would argue that you would have to prove that the scp girl removing someone from reality is better than hakai deleting someone's existence aka removing the reality which goku resisits.
To add to that, Goku also has the very rarely used ability to read minds. So if he came in physical contact with any foundation member he may just learn their exact goals and try to work with them as an excuse to do what he loves to do... whoop bad guy ass.

To be clear, SCP-2140 doesn't alter memories, it alters the *timeline* so that the person in question always *was* a loyal agent of the foundation. To use it on Goku would probably be less successful than using it on Roshi. To use it on Roshi would likely mean that Roshi taught the z fighters the importance of secrecy from a young age.
The foundation would most likely ask them to sign like a "contract" of some sort. The foundation would still classify them as a SCP and give them a classification and number. After that I can see them asking them to help them aid in their work such as eliminating Dangerous SCP's such as 682 or 096 that could cause a X-K class scenario. Obviously Goku and Vegeta can cause a X-K class scenario whenever they want. But other than that I feel they could be useful assets and allies to the Foundation rather than a threat.
In most SCP verses though the foundation hates using anything more powerful than a small group of guys with light machine guns. Even people like Abel and Rainer Miller after one or two missions were shelved permanently for being just slightly dangerous and possibly uncontrollable.

682, I'd say would be too difficult to kill, even with the Z-Fighters, considering he is capable of adapting to survive any threat especially when you see scenarios involving 682 and other powerful SCPs or even world-ending SCPs such as 001 When Day Breaks, where usually where one would start melting and turn into an instance, 682 immediately adapted by shedding the melting parts off and grew an umbrella to protect itself

Problem is they'd have to figure out what to do about Beerus and Zeno, neither who would not take kindly to the situation.
Which is really the issue with the SCP Foundation trying to contain characters in a lot of higher-level universes: they may be able to figure out something for any one individual, but they will bring down more heat than any of the current containment protocols indicate they could manage even with significant prep time.
Best bet they have at containing Goku is telling him sitting in a cell is training

There's still an issue of where they're contained. Assuming the Japanese branch has their own foundation(s) across the country, then they might be screwing themselves trying to raid them because I've heard their SCPs can just be outright insane

A few points to make. SCP 2140 probably wouldn't work. Vegeta has already showed that he can break out of mind altering abilities, with him fighting off Babidi's mind control. Also, Vegeta doesn't use Instant Transmission. He has used it once in the manga, but he stated he'll probably not be able to use it again due to both not mastering the technique as well as just not wanting to due to it being one of Goku's signature techniques.
By the way, I'd be very interested in the other Dragon Ball characters as well, as this video is pretty much just Goku and Vegeta. Notably Piccolo and Buu could be interesting. Both have many differences from the main 2 Saiyans, both ability and personality wise. Granted, Buu would probably be really easy to capture, with him sleeping for like multiple months every year, but it'd be interesting to see how he would be contained, especially due to his seeming immunity to mind manipulation full-stop, as well as all of his other goofy abilities. Piccolo is more-so someone I'm curious how they'd capture, as I'm pretty sure he's not going to be fooled as easily as Goku and Vegeta.
SCP 2140 doesn't just Manipulate Memory. It literally Alter Timelines in such a way that the person affected by it never even Question his loyalty to the Foundation.

Theyre actually near fully immune to poisons.
This is from an episode where we find that Jaco carries a vial of poison so potent it would wipe out the human race if he even opened it but it wouldnt affect the saiyans in any meaningful way.
And dont think that any fountain of youth shenanigans could weaken it, infant saiyans are also that resistant.
The foundation would be better off just keeping an eye on them rather than hoping for the slightest chance of pulling a fast one on them

That's not that hard to figure out. They have intelligence agents whose whole Job is figuring out the anomaly before hand while staying under cover. They could pretend to be some savy noob fighters trying to learn from the legendary Z fighters and those dolts would probably explain everything over the course of a few days of demonstrations and training.
Also not gonna lie the guy here forgot about fusion like gogeta who gets strong enough to break through dimensions without trying and Also as some people in the comments have said there is no good way to keep goku and vegeta contained seeing as beerus exist and so does whis and Zeno who all have at least a stake in seeing goku keep growing so they’d probably just break him out destroy the organization and then wish for their memories back with the dragon balls
