The car is a tank. I once went 6 months without an oil change and my g35 didn’t skip a beat. It’s my first car and I’ll keep it until I die lol

It's all a matter of perspective, I'm coming from a tuned Subaru that drank gas like nothing. I'd be lucky to get 22 highway, like 15 city.
Compared to that, this car is a gas saver and it has similar amounts of power and a lot more comfort. No complaints.
13 g37 7at sedan is the way to go I get 19 mpg street and 26 up to 32 mpg hwy all depends on how u drive for 330hp it's not the worst on gas especially when u can beat plenty v8s in a family sedan

has 306hp and pretty dam fast... 2019 sti only has 310hp.. and my 2007 g35s has 306hp thats insane! but gas mileage isn’t great

I have an 08 g35 sedan as well and for some reason even my car doesnt have heated seats and my car has over 200k milestone its got no issues except a starter
For the aux cord in the glove box just buy a rca to 3.5mm aux cord. One wire looks clean and sounds great!

Yeah I was going to get one of those but I was never able to find one local to me so I just bought an adapter for Bluetooth off amazon and it’s great!
1st Gear Media it works! Just got mine took me 8 months to find one with a manual trans.
I used a composite to AUX converter in the center console it's given me no problems and sounds great!
I’ve never heard of an 07/08 sedan without heated seats. I’ve had two of them and mine both had them. Even my 07 without the tech package had them 😂 that’s so strange
The 07 Journey doesn't have them. That's what I had.

It does drink gas.. but I recently replaced all filters and cleaned the throttle bodies and it got a lot better.

To answer your title: Yes. Almost 60,000 miles and 5 years later. I'm still an extremely satisfied G owner. If it got binned, I'd go find another one but my heart would still be broken.

i loved my old 03 g35. i shouldn't have ever sold it. theyre just really fun reliable cars with super easy maintenance. i traded mine for an old supercharged tahoe (thing has been such a pain to maintain). but my complaints about the G's are few:
1) cheap paint oxidizes and rusts too quickly. i just sprang for a cheap maaco job
2) leathers a little too thin on the seats.. prone to tears. unfortunately no fix for me.
3) had to spring for an aftermarket dash for a bluetooth enabled CD player. lost steering wheel radio controls but worth it to me.. the volume button isnt all that far away :)
id totally get another one tho. or g37. it was still running AMAZING like brand new at 170k. just regular syn oil changes and cheap 87 pump gas. sounds really good with a muffler delete (1st thing i did).
edit: seen a lot of ppl talk about the gas. i really didnt think it was bad. its not a prius, but its waaay better than any american car ive driven. its a japanese high revving v6.. i also think its how you drive. if you stomp on the pedal all the time and constantly redline... yeah. its gonna go thru some gas. but i wouldnt change a thing.
Yeah they are awesome cars! I have always loved the older g body styles my favorite is the sedans with a manual! And yeah I agree with you my paint has surprisingly held up really well but my dash and some of the leather is really starting to go but yeah I hit 145k today still doing really well! I think when it’s time for a replacement I’ll probably stick with another Infiniti!

@@1stgearmedia271 that one i went to see i wasnt all that fond of.. not for any particular reason except that after i drove it, my gut told me the previous owner didnt maintain it very well. it was clean inside and out, but i dont think it ran like it should have. then i grabbed the VIN, did some research and found out it was an auction car.. pass!
edit: im not in a major hurry. time is on my side. i still have my truck.
I've had 2 of these cars and loved them. Had a pearl white one that got totaled in an accident a while back but now I have a black g35x with black interior and I'm gonna turbo and make it a proper skyline. If you didn't know these cars in japan are called skylines. The GTR and skyline are now 2 different cars. Not a GTR but still a skyline lol

I just bought the car you want. Tech package with the adaptive front headlights, heated seats , back up camera, adaptive Cruise control.
Yup I just got one to 08
300 to 306 is good for a v6 but you can even put more power in the old ones as well if people are willing to buy parts and some older ones can get bigger piston as well so getting a newer model does not really matter

I would go for it but remember that gas mileage is horrible
that’s cool but be ready to buy a starter, alternator, camshaft bank 2 sensor, and can’t forget about the OIL AND GAS.... IT DRINKS BOTH... be smart, look at the damn car out and inside, over and under the engine, look for leaks, don’t get fucked like me.
Get a g37 it is a bit better than the g35 and it has more technology and a lil bit more power
The G's usually get the gas milage of a Hellcat. It's by far the worse in it's class when it comes to gas. The FX and M of that time are the same.
Not hellcat mileage I don’t care what anyone says the hellcat gets like 3mpg whether or not you drive economical I’ve driven both lol
Gas is great in comparison to a diesel truck for sure! But compared to any other daily gas is shit😂

That price is suspiciously low, probably hot rider with a heavy foot..take caution.. the if you know a good reputable mechanic who will check through it for a small fee, I would definitely do that.. could save you from a money pit burn..

Really can hardly wait. The seller is holding onto it until April 15. I will have the window tint redone, along with the inside interior trim where the aluminum is scratched and chipping. After driving my friend's '03, I was sold.

@@TheLastKing98 Yes, I bought it and am loving the car. Tie rods, brakes and alignment will need work in the immediate future. I'll also need to purchase new tires and have the tint redone. It's a great handling, accelerating car. I look for excuses to drive it.
Love mine. It's exactly like yours but it has Navi and a backup camera. But it's fucking terrible on gas

Same dude, the only way to get "good gas mileage is if your commute is just highway, and not even. With the auto I still get pretty shitty mileage. I think my 2004 mustang v6 with the 4 speed even got better mpg 😂

Your exhaust setups could be restricting exhaust flow from the engine, causing back pressure. An example of this would be a 2.5 inch Y-pipe that goes to a 2.25 inch Y-back exhaust. That restriction robs gas mileage.
@@viny.u The exhaust on mine is completely stock, so when it rusts through (probably in the next winter or two) I want to upgrade to a more free flowing setup.

Great review i wish u do more i got fx35 2009 awd i love it same engine vq35hr damn it sound good one let down If u drive sporty u ll get bad mpg but if u daily listen to music drive comfy u ll get a decent mpg i think thats the same thing for sporty cars except this one is reliable got the sweet spot btw luxury and normal cars wish i love i dont want massage or stupid things that ll break in 2 years thats wut made me love moore infiniti

You said very reliable I just bought one for 13k and not even a month started with coolant leaks. The key didn't start the car broken catalytic converter never buying a infiniti I should of gotten a SS. Motors are super strong but the rest is ass.
I just got a 2008 g35s with 183k miles, previous owner kept everything nice and the car really doesn't show it's mileage. But I recently discovered the galley gasket is a common problem on these cars at this mileage. Do y'all think it was a good purchase or did I fuck up? 😂

@@fendi3184 well i did sell mine around 9 months ago. Not because the car was breaking, i just moved to Canada lmao. However, i did put 20k miles on it and the only thing that i did was a break job and oil changes. No check engine lights! And i was pretty hard on it 👀

If you want a nice comfortable daily get the ls430 but if you want a more exciting ride with a bigger aftermarket scene then definitely the 35, it’s basically a 4 door 350z!

I'm driving to Houston tomorrow for a 2008 G35 sedan. So there's no aux or Bluetooth feature at all? Is it possible to buy a whole new radio for it that has Bluetooth and I seen a video of an 08 with a back up cam do they come with it stocked?
Some models do come with a back up camera but if not there is actually a retrofit kit that basically gives you a Tesla screen in the car it’s super cool

Don't buy the cig adapter, but the aux adapter with Bluetooth or just spend the 80 bucks to get the Bluetooth module for the ipod adapter.
