I always liked Satori but not for the most obvious reasons. I can't remember if it was in foul detective satori or some other fan work. But she had stated something like, "every heart you look in, you find evil, malice, disgust." Something that sickens her I think. Hence why she's always seen as a low energy person. She said herself that it's taxing to listen to the hearts of other, frequently getting her sick. She hints at this at the beinning of the "help me remember! satori-sama" game. Satori is a little underrated considering she has to put up with problems that not a single other toho character can even imagine. I liked your video, but im highly analytical, specially regarding Satori
although this is the fanon depiction of her in canon she's very smug and loves reading minds, she doesn't see it as a negative thing at all, which is why other youkai hate her so much, mizuchi was the only time she had a negative reaction to reading someone's mind
I personally like to think Satori, if given the right circumstance (basically by copying enough powerful spells), could be at a final boss level (though she wasn’t able to do that during SA). At least so the Komeiji sisters would contrast the Scarlet sisters.
in some of the newer CDS chapters, she's shown to be rather physically weak and was shown that her ability need to be manually activated (atleast that's what the scene where she read the Jailbreak king's mind suggested). Hell, she's the mistress/boss yet got down graded to a Stage 4 boss, when usually they're the stage 6 or extra stage boss
If you want to get into the magic of the game... What about people who have anchored them in ways just because. The idea of enlightenment has different perspectives, but to play around with one of them is that once you got it then you start slipping away, and if you want you can still come up with karma or anchor to keep on playing. I understood it's any kind of reason why you would want to live, and the bad connotations for the word are from people who got it mixed up with negative factors so that it actually leads to beating other people down. Sure sometimes getting beat is the lesson to understand of letting go or forgiving. If you think about it... The pc is like a karma that has been built for a soul to take control of and have it being controlled by conscious karma. I don't know what any of it is more than that, but I thought it was fun thing to play around with in my mind. P.s. I wrote this to tell me about the experience of meeting someone who basically was able to "peek in". You know how bad it can be? More than 10 times worse. I was blessed to meet someone who wasn't there to take me down, but had similar eye for people. They were daring to suggest themselves being called rainman. They were able to hear what I was saying. Even if my style of speech is only to circle around and slowly spiraling in just to make sure that I could let the spring play the sound of it as well as possible. I think everything about what ever is important to some degree They were basically translating the whole "song" or story from some vague depictions I was just building up. The story being what was so bothersome for me. And it is basically how can I trust in other people, and I seem to keep believing in the good, but keep getting reminded that there are just sly slithering poison users and face on asshats. Well, I think the best solution is to move bit away, and see if it's possible to start something my own. Like garden or something. Oh yeah when I was with that person we were in one community culture place, and multiple people were there, but still I lost myself in tears when they were able to play the strings that I didn't dare to. Sure it was just a moment, and soon enough I was having my second cup of coffee, and took a seat on the table that was focused on their own projects while chatting about weather and such. I do some poetry and excuse myself there when I visit to just forcing myself to write something. But it's a place where no one says you have to do something to earn your stay. If the name they gave to me to use didn't reveal it, but they are autistic. They can't really do facial expressions, and they told me that they had to train for hours in front of a mirror just to smile as well as they can do now. It's OK how they are doing it now, but as it's on the edge of uncanny valley you can't really tell if it's sarcastic or honest smile, but it's not creepy imo. They have some level of photographic memory and can read pages of books by a glance, and so... Sensible person, but they could just be mirroring what I do just to keep on learning themself. That's what I understood about them. Even if they helped me they would only do it for some sort of benefit they would see to get from it. They were kind enough to show me that they were on that side of the spectrum. But still as an autistic, I guess... They can't really abuse all the tools as well to climb the ladder to the top of the world, as I think their world is different enough from ours. Having a different world, but people keep on handing maps for seemingly wrong one.
Satori cannot read Koishi's mind as she can only read conscious thoughts, Koishi closed her third eye which sealed her consciousness along with it. Koishi is unconscious, basically sleep walking forever
