Well Henry one thing I think you made it wrong is about the engine. The 1.2L MPI engine used in this car doesn't make 60bhp rather it makes 75bhp or 74ps. In India and other EU countries this very same model of Polo is sold with same engine specifications and produces 55kw i.e 75bhp and 110Nm of torque. 0-100 kmph is approx 13 seconds. Kindly verify this fact. I used to own this car and according to me it is a very good engine if you want to drive the car in town but you do have the need to get more power when you are out on the highway.
it came with different power outputs, there is a 60hp 1.2L option so he has not made a mistake
Can you run the steps of the ignition key please as I think I'm doing it wrong. Just got the car today. Reading the manual book nothing it's going in my head. Much appreciated

I know the "Match Edition" has cruise control, but probably not just "Match".

I agree. I had a 2006 1.2 Polo for a short time, and it virtually had no power at all. You are better off with a bigger engine.
