This was really thorough! Thank you for pointing out how differently some of these primers would look on deeper skin tones in comparison to lighter ones.
So, so, so much more helpful than any other primer review that I've seen out there. You went into a ton of detail and key points that I've been looking for on primers! Thank you so much for posting this!
i personally love the baby skin primer and like you said, i only apply it on my trouble areas and i dont rub it in, i just gently press it and let it sit for a little while in my skin before applying the rest of my makeup, and it actually works really really well for me and i have combo-dry skin!
I love the Stay Matte primer. I use it daily, even alone on my t-zone, under my eyes and my eyelids, since they are naturally oily. I found that it works very well on the lids before applying eye primer. The matte primer keeps my lids from getting oily and combined with the eye primer, it's heaven! Great color stay!
Great job! I've only recently heard about the Angel Veil and simply MUST have it!! I can use the Hard Candy primer under my eyes before concealer, as it does provide a smooth skin area. Just to use it up, of course. The Rimmel is superb!!
This was very helpful as I have never used primer before and was wanting to find a good one. I especially liked that you compared the L'Oreal lumi to the almay luminous primer as i was wanting a luminous primer and wasn't sure out of these two which would be the best bang for my buck, so thank you!
Nathalie K hi nathalie , I know you like doing top 10 drugstore items , can you please do a top 10 makeup remover video , I am finding it hard to get a good remover at a decent price.
So, I juuust found your video because I was looking into the NYX Angel Veil primer and your video popped up in the search. Thank you so much for the in depth reviews! In fact, I subscribed about half way through the video because of your personality. Kuddos!
My favourite is the 'Essence all about matt oil control make-up base'. It doesn't have any silicones in it so it doesn't fill in pores (even though it claims it will) but it is the best thing for oil control. I can even mix it with my makeup products to help them set better, prevent creasing and create a matte effect.
Just now watching this. I enjoyed your presentation and I also really like the NYX primer. I've tried numerous high end primers, and my favorite is Dior's Pore Minimizer Skin Refining Matte Primer. Yes, it's really pricey, but lasts a long time. Does the job perfectly and sets makeup all day.
love all your reviews !!! you are genuine about your reviews! I adore you and your hard work on reviewing these products to help us save money!!! I share all your videos with friends and families!!! thank you s I much for your hard work and yes I do go out to buy all the products you recommend!!!😁😁😁
This video was very helpful! I truly appreciate how you go into detail! I really have my mind set on what primer would fit my skin type. Thank you so much! Love your channel!
the hourglass mineral veil is my favorite primer, although i also like several by smashbox and benefit's porefessional. i recently got a sample of the garnier 5 second blur and was really impressed. for my super-oily face with too-large pores, the 5 second blur was amazing, especially used in conjunction with murad mattifying lotion spf 15. i hope i'll get a chance to check out the nyx angel veil when i run out of my hourglass. thanks for this great run-down.
Belle Honey Would you say for very large pores its better than nyx angel veil?? I have maybelline baby skin and it does nothing 😞 My pores still look huge after all my makeup is done.
Hey Nathalie! I also enjoy the rimmel primer...since you like that, I think you'll LOVE the primer by the brand black radiance. I have really oily skin and this is the best I have found anywhere! I have a fair complexion...i don't see it after I smooth it into my skin. Great video!
Thank u so much for this video! I love primers, &/or pore fillers, & I'm always on the hunt for the perfect one for me. Your videos are always super informative & this one was right up my alley! LOL! NYX makes 2 more products that are basically primers & pore fillers. The 1st one is their HD Finish primer which is clear & is silicone based but actually thin & runny. No good! I feel like they were trying to make the product look like Smashbox's original primer. The 2nd product is actually a pretty close dupe in color, texture & wear to Benefit's the Porefessional & it's basically called pore filler. It's what I've been using lately & I really enjoy it. Almay just came out with a primer that's called smart shade perfect & correct primer. It's clear with a light green & lavender swirl running thru the center & it has a pump. Again it looks similar to another high end brands tone correcting primer.
Thank you so much! Your video's are so informative! I have never heard of the NYX primer but I will certainly give it a try. I am currently trying the Hourglass one but it's way expensive. Just so you know, you are really good at this!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
I do own the nyx veil but haven't used it yet. But Rimmel stay matte is my ultimate fave go to !! Been using it for about a year now. I'm very oily n it Keeps me matte. I don't wear foundation occasionally a BBcream but I usually use the primer alone just to keep me matte! Love how u chose it as a number one pick! Great video
I have bigger than average pores, does the Rimmel minimize pores so the make up slides on? I'm new to makeup and I'm trying to find a good non expensive primer! Thanks! x
I absolutely agree with you on Rimmel and NYX. They are my favorite primers right now for my combination/oily skin. I'm almost out of the Rimmel so for me to finish is a product is a big deal! Lol
Maritza Courneya If your talking about The maybelline baby skin then I agree. I bpught it so im using it the only day it worked ever was the very first time i tried it.. ever since then I hate it 😞 It doesnt fill in my pores, after i apply my foundation my pores still look like giant holes in my face ugh..
I just bought the Angel Veil today because I heard it was a pretty good dupe for the Hourglass primer that I am running out of and cannot afford to replace, boo hoo, yeah? Anyway... did a search and found this review which really impressed me. Very detailed and informative, so I subscribed to your channel as soon as I finished watching it. So now I will open and use the NYX primer instead of thinking that maybe I should return it! Thanks.😊
Nicole Maryce Martinez De la Cruz Your comments always make my day! So glad to hear that you are finding my videos helpful! I appreciate the time you are taking from your day to watch them!
I am not familiar with a lot of these primers but I am most pleased with Maybellines Baby Skin. Its the best to reduce my large pores to virtually poreless.
Your videos are sooo helpful! I have also watched your gel eyeliner review and I am going to buy some you recommended!! Thanks so much again for making such informational videos!! And for talking so pleasantly...New subbie :) :)
I'd love to see you note cruelty free brands as you go, so that if two were fairly equivalent a person could be tipped to one or the other based on the company being more responsible. I went ahead and checked on the brands you listed for you, if you might want to note it in your description. :) NYX & Rimmel & Hard Candy are cruelty free although none of which are leaping bunny certified (the cruelty free "gold standard") L'Oreal & Almay sometimes tests on animals depending on area regulations (for example, so they can sell their products in China). Maybelline & Garnier do test on animals and are not noted as making any effort to reduce this practice. Cool bonus that your top 2 on this video are cruelty free brands! :)
Toni Maybelline and Garnier are both owned by L'Oreal and this is L'Oreal's statement re animal testing. Basically, they say that they don't test on animals, anywhere in the world, and they do not delegate this task to others. They go on to state that they only make exceptions if regulatory authorities required it for safety or regulatory purposes. "L’Oréal is committed to only market products whose safety has been evaluated according to rigorous and ethical protocols. The goal is to prevent our consumers from experiencing any adverse effects from the product’s use. Traditionally, the safety assessment of products and ingredients was done by means of animal testing. "However, since the 1980s, L’Oréal believes that the future of safety evaluation lies in the development of alternative, 'predictive' strategies. This approach is built on the substantial scientific progress being made in the fields of reconstructed skin models, molecular modeling and also high-performance data processing. It allows us to exploit all of the data that the Group has been accumulated over the course of a century, representing over 50 000 ingredients. "These new strategies and the considerable research efforts behind them have paid off: in 1989, L’Oréal was able to end all testing of its products on animals, without making our products any less safe. Since March 2013, the Group has taken another decisive step: The Group no longer tests on animal, anywhere in the world, and does not delegate this task to others. An exception could be made if regulatory authorities required it for safety or regulatory purposes. "Thanks to our advances in alternative methods, our partnerships with research institutes worldwide and the extraordinary determination of our teams, L’Oréal has entered the “predictive” era of forecasting an ingredient’s safety & efficacy before it has been synthesized. This ambition, which is supported by the international scientific community known as “toxicology of the 21st century”, is manifest in our laboratories’ efforts and fuels our innovation. "More than 30 years ago L’Oréal chartered a new course that today allows us to innovate for beauty around the world without recourse to animal testing."
I'm aware of L'Oreal's policy, however they are still doing testing in order to continue sales in China, that exception they refer to. In order to sell their products in China, all their products sold there are being animal tested. This effort to make it sound minimal because they only do it when required, doesn't mean it actually is minimal. Cruelty free brands have to opt out of China sales, and those of us who shop only cruelty free are making a conscious choice to reward them for losing the market.
530Paradise why do any companies animal test anyway , products dont perform on animals the way they do on humans , and I know not to spray hairspray in my eyes, I don't need someone spraying it in rabbits eye's to tell me that.
I came here to check out the Angel Veil reviews. I do like the idea that it is white because my face stays tan/red year round. But I don't think I can go by your review because you really liked Lumi & I hate Hate Hate Lumi & LOVE Hard Candy but i have the clear tan one. I am actually getting ready to buy Laura Gellar Spackle on Ebay. Always hear good reviews on that. I just wish the Hard Candy primer was a huge tube because I also like wearing it for a body & hand lotion because it is soooooooooooooooooo smooth & makes your skin feel soooooooooooo soft.
Hi Nathalie! So I've tried the new Tarte Smoothing Primer (in the pot). I watched a video of someone calling the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Perfecting Base a total dupe for it. At 1/3 of the price. I compared the ingredients, and they are similar... Just more anti-aging ingredients in the Tarte. But the pot kills the "anti-aging" for me. Have you tried either?
I really like your videos as they are straight forward and very informative..and you don't play with your hair! I am your total opposite as far as coloring and such but I look forward to your videos. Thank You.
I tried it once and it clogged my pores, I ended up breaking out. But im glad it works for you! It definitely did its job when I used it. Just not for every skin type.
+Nathalie K I am looking forward for your best drugstore eyeshadow primer review 😆😄💖 thanks for your videos btw. It's very helpful and I literally rely on them whenever I wanna buy something for my makeup.. So far I'm liking the nyx angel veil which is on your top list. Have tried it and luv it! And the loreal infallible foundation I'm using it too. Luv it! Bought it when I watched your videos.. I'm subscribed to your channel ☺️
I found this really helpful thank you :). I'm considering getting the Hourglass primer and/or the NYX veil primer as I've heard such good things about them. Would you say the Hourglass one is worth the price? Or should I just get the NYX xx
+Helen Ashleigh I would say the Hourglass is one of my all time favorites but not sure it is worth the price. The NYX is really good and pretty similar. I would start off with the NYX and see how you like it because if you love it then you just saved a ton of money. Thank you for your kind words and for your question!
The garnier five second blur is the best in my opinion. My makeup looked airbrushed and professionally done amazing!!! None of them compare to it but that's for my skin so idk lol
Belle Honey I absolutely understand what you are saying. Primers like anything else can work differently on different skin types/people. It is not that I did not like the Garnier 5 sec Blur but just that when comparing it to the others, it was not my favorite. I find I reach for it more in the cooler months when my skin does not need as much oil control. Thanks for sharing your experience, though! Always love hearing different opinions.
Do u think the nyx Angel veil primer would work well on dry skin? I have fair skin so the white cast doesn't worry me, but the fact that it helps minimize shine could be if it will dry out my skin more.
I have the babyskin and the smashbox primers, they seem exactly the same to me. I want to get the loreal lumi one, and nyx always seems to have the best stuff, don't they?
Yeah I've been using the baby skin primer for a while now. When I first got it I would do about 4 dots of my face but I felt I was spreading it thin, so I did more nd realised it's very slippery and doesn't provent greese.
i was so broken about the baby face primer, it makes me break out like crazy. I even use Proactive every night and still manage to have acne. It sucks because i feel like it keeps me more matte and makes my foundation last longer but i cant deal with the way it reacts to my skin :(
I keep picking up that rimmel primer but people here keep opening every single one and using them, so I never know if the tube has been used or not. (you should see the foundation section at my walmart.. ugh.. every single cover girl foundation opened and product taken out) I wish some drugstore makeup companies could put on a safety seal or peel off seal on their products. I would happily pay a little bit more to see this.
felinekj I actually have a "Best & Worst Drugstore Eyeshadow Primers" already up. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/UyqlR2bJwNo/v-deo.html. Hope it helps!
hello nathalie, i'm wanna asking you about NYX Angel Vein Primer. Whether the primer is working well with many foundations? I use Revlon Colorstay foundation.. Thank you
I always find your reviews helpful thnk u for them! I was surprised the L'ORÉAL Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Cream wasn't included. What's your take in this primer?? I need something for crows feet 😩
I actually like the Hard Candy primer. I never found it to curdle so that's odd o.o You should try the elf's pore-less face primer :) I really like that one. I am going to try the rimmel stay matte primer and the almay one. also the nyx one haha gotta put those on my list. Love your vids
+Nathalie Marie Kay I also bought the Nyx Angel veil and I'm LOVING it, since I do have oily skin in the T-zone area, I've struggled for a while to find a primer that works for me. This video helped tons❤️:)
Where do u get the nyx brand and also rimmel. I really have oily face. Also do u put moisturizer first then primer. Or just the primer. Thanks. Nathalie.
+anna Collazo I find both at Ulta, Target, CVS. You would want to apply moisturizer first and give it a few minutes to sink in before applying a small amount of primer. Thanks for watching, Anna! Hope that helps.
Aurose My personal favorites are those from Bare Minerals, but of course the are very expensive which is why I have been on the search for a good drugstore primer :). So far I have tried Rimmel stay matte (purple), Rimmel fix and perfect pro (blue), and Neutrogena shine control (black). None of them have impressed me, but I do not like the neutrogena one at all. Out of the two rimmel ones, they do a decent job as general drugstore primers, but as a girl who gets oily 20 mins after washing her face, they are not adequate mattifying primers. I would go ahead and try the rimmel one, I didn't notice a large difference between the two. I have not tried the red one they have come out with. I have heard from other videos that the angel veil primer is good, but that is next up on my list.
Can you use Stay Matte Primer with the Wake Me Up Foundation and will the Primer make the skin oily (I'm new to makeup) I brought the stay Matte Primer? Will it be Ok? Help D:
Bethany Jayne Yes, I think it should work fine. I use the Stay Matte Primer with many different kinds of foundations. I do find that with some matte foundations, it can become too drying and the foundation can look extra heavy. But it works nicely with the Wake Me Up foundation on my skin.
erisedzoe13 I think the Almay CC Luminous Primer or L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer (my personal favorite) are beautiful especially on dry skin that needs a little pick me up glow. They also don't feel heavy on the skin and can be mixed with your foundation to create a more dewy finish.
Milly Vanilly I've found in my personal experience that face primers don't work nearly as well as eyeshadow primers as most face primers are silicone base and eye shadows just glide around throughout the day. Eyeshadow primers seem to be "sticky" and does a fabulous job at keeping your eyeshadow stay in place!
What's the best primer and foundation for flaky dry/combination acne skin? Whenever I apply my foundation it ends up looking cakey. And I need something drugstore priced to fit my budget...
Hayley H I’m super late to this party but I have the same issue and I use the angel veil NYX primer or the fix and perfect Rimmel primer and the fit me for normal to dry skin dewy+smooth foundation. I have combination skin that is flakey dry, big pores in some areas and small breakouts. I specifically use Fit Me 125 but it’s a newer fit me foundation they have and i love it. I’ve only had it for a week but it’s comparable to my tarte foundation that’s 3 times as much money.
I don't know that they would be my first pick for oily skin since your skin type will naturally create a "glow" as oil develops. These might exaggerate it. I would say if you want to add a more iridescent glow to skin you might be better off with using powder highlighters and luminescent finishing powders like Hourglass or Makeup Revolution after you have applied your foundation and oil controlling powder. I would probably also use a mattifying primer underneath my foundation just to help extend the wear and try to keep the oil production at bay longer. They would probably work better and last longer with oily skin.
I've tryed to Rimmel London primer and it doesn't do that great of a job on my skin. My foundstion doesn't last at all with it and it makes me oily quicker.
well honey there is one thing I do not agree with and that it is the baby skin pore reducer...and it does kinda make my skin a Lil slippery feel under my foundation but idk ...other ppl have there own oppinon I guess!!!!
This was really thorough! Thank you for pointing out how differently some of these primers would look on deeper skin tones in comparison to lighter ones.
Your reviews are so informative and well organized. I love watching your videos!
Always detailed and educates us! RED is your color girllllll! You look flawless xo
You are absolutely stunning in red!
Peleaulani Mahi Aww, thank you! Xoxo
I appreciate your review, I thought your explanation of these product was well detailed and easy to understand.
So, so, so much more helpful than any other primer review that I've seen out there. You went into a ton of detail and key points that I've been looking for on primers! Thank you so much for posting this!

I love the Rimmel Stay Matte primer! Keeps me oil free almost all day and works great with their Stay Matte powder! Love:)
My favorite is the angel veil as well! I'm a tan skin tone and it does just fine! Such a gem from the drugstore!!
Jenn Beagle I am so glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching!
Nathalie K hi nathalie , I know you like doing top 10 drugstore items , can you please do a top 10 makeup remover video , I am finding it hard to get a good remover at a decent price.

I have been binge watching all your videos! Absolutely love

I absolutely agree with you on Rimmel and NYX. They are my favorite primers right now for my combination/oily skin. I'm almost out of the Rimmel so for me to finish is a product is a big deal! Lol
So helpful and thorough ! U do such a nice job explaining everything. This is my favorite kind of video that u do ! U look fab ! Thanx !
Your videos are the best! You're always in depth and straight to the point. 👌🏼
Your voice is like ASMR to me. So relaxing! Love your channel!❤❤
This was such an informative video. I'm addicted to this series! For dry skin I really like the Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro. :)
i am glad i'm not the only one who doesn't love the baby pores i am using it cause I paid for it buy doesn't live up to the hype

I just got an la colors face primer today, I'm used to wearing Rimmel face primer. This new face primer, we shall see how well it works. ❤️

The Rimmel Stay Matte primer is my holy grail primer!!! Amazing for oily skin
I actually enjoy the hard candy primer. For me it goes on really smooth and does help with the oiliness . But great video (:
Hi Nathalie! So I've tried the new Tarte Smoothing Primer (in the pot). I watched a video of someone calling the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Perfecting Base a total dupe for it. At 1/3 of the price. I compared the ingredients, and they are similar... Just more anti-aging ingredients in the Tarte. But the pot kills the "anti-aging" for me. Have you tried either?
I really like your videos as they are straight forward and very informative..and you don't play with your hair! I am your total opposite as far as coloring and such but I look forward to your videos. Thank You.
antonia fitzgerald You are very welcome, Antonia! So happy to hear that you find them helpful! Thank you for taking the time to watch them!
I use Monistat chafing relief powder gel as a primer. It's $6 and does what a primer does and has the velvety, silicone feel to it.
Heather Crutchley would it work for dry skin?
I tried it once and it clogged my pores, I ended up breaking out. But im glad it works for you! It definitely did its job when I used it. Just not for every skin type.
Love your videos, they are so down to earth! Do you apply your sunscreen before the primer? Which brand do you use?
you kinda favor Amy Whinehouse can you do a Amy Winehouse make up and hair tutorial that would b awesome
Tabitha Charanza That is a great recommendation! Never would have thought of it, but it would be fun to try and recreate her classic look : )
Hi Nathalie, should the primer be used all over the face or on particular areas only? Can we apply primer everyday?
Lol 2014. Watching in November 2016.
Claire Pallie sammme
Emily Jones ah... thank you
Claire Pallie lol 2017 over here
April 2017 ✋🏻😂
June 2017 😭
I found this really helpful thank you :). I'm considering getting the Hourglass primer and/or the NYX veil primer as I've heard such good things about them. Would you say the Hourglass one is worth the price? Or should I just get the NYX xx
+Helen Ashleigh I would say the Hourglass is one of my all time favorites but not sure it is worth the price. The NYX is really good and pretty similar. I would start off with the NYX and see how you like it because if you love it then you just saved a ton of money. Thank you for your kind words and for your question!
You are very welcome :D thank you for your advice. I bought the NYX primer and absolutely love it! It's a life saver x
Would you recommend it for normal skin? I'm not dry or oily. I've been looking for a good drugstore primer.
Look at you in a red lip!! Yes ma'am! Gorgeous!! 💄💋
i was so broken about the baby face primer, it makes me break out like crazy. I even use Proactive every night and still manage to have acne. It sucks because i feel like it keeps me more matte and makes my foundation last longer but i cant deal with the way it reacts to my skin :(
Great video loved the input!, what eyeshadow primer do you use??
This helped a lot and saved me from having to do multiple returns before finding the right one.
You are better than Judy! You should start doing makeup tutorials and giveaways. XO
love your videos. very helpful. love how you explain everything! :)
Omg i really love your channel your are just great! ❤️
raiza ontiveros Thank you so much, Raiza! So happy to have you as a viewer and to hear you are enjoying it.
SO VERY helpful! Great video!
Love these videos! Btw, you look great!
I'm so thankful for this vid 😊 this really helped me thank you x 💕
How about eyelid primers Any suggestions. Need something to stop creasing and saying power.
felinekj I actually have a "Best & Worst Drugstore Eyeshadow Primers" already up. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/UyqlR2bJwNo/v-deo.html. Hope it helps!
Thank u! Sorry I should have looked first :)
angel maldonado that's not necessary for you to be rude like that...get your life boo...go learn some manners
felinekj really like the urban decay ones
Can you please do a video about how to make mascara last all day ?
hello nathalie, i'm wanna asking you about NYX Angel Vein Primer. Whether the primer is working well with many foundations? I use Revlon Colorstay foundation.. Thank you
You should make this same video again now that it's winter! Get the difference in the seasons!
Even though it's 2 years later..lol
Can this work as an eyelid primer? I want to make sure my eyeshadow doesnt come off in the pool :))
Have you tried Nyx hydra touch primer? I heard that is better than angel veil? Would you pls review?
I always find your reviews helpful thnk u for them! I was surprised the L'ORÉAL Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Cream wasn't included. What's your take in this primer?? I need something for crows feet 😩
You are sooo pretty!
omgosh you're gorgeous!
hey there :) Are you sure that the Angel Veil is oil free? They mention nothing at all on their site ... thank you , C
I actually like the Hard Candy primer. I never found it to curdle so that's odd o.o You should try the elf's pore-less face primer :) I really like that one. I am going to try the rimmel stay matte primer and the almay one. also the nyx one haha gotta put those on my list. Love your vids
Josephine garcia I have tried the elf mineral primer and really like that one. Thanks for all your support, Josephine! Love your name, btw!
Yayyyyee! Also, you look gorgeous!
First time watching! Omg you're stunning!
So beautiful shirt!
You're amazing! You were very descriptive and now I'm reassured to try the Rimmel Stay matte primer. :)
+Alex Such Thank you, Alex! That is very sweet of you to say. Hope it works for you.
+Nathalie Marie Kay I also bought the Nyx Angel veil and I'm LOVING it, since I do have oily skin in the T-zone area, I've struggled for a while to find a primer that works for me. This video helped tons❤️:)
+Alex Such out of the rimmel or nyx which one do u like btr?
This was very helpful thank you so much!
I really liked your video. Loved your video!
+Milabu Thank you!!
Thanks for your detailed review - much appreciated.
I have oily skin, and I'm not personally find of the Rimmel stay matte primer, I find my skin gets oily after 30 mins.
+Brooke Richards oh! I am about to try the Rimmel one out, wich one would you recommend?
I have heard from other videos that the angel veil primer is good, but that is next up on my list.
do you plan on doing an updated primer video?
Best video ever!! Thank you so much! 👍🏼😊
jenny vega That is so sweet of you to say! Thanks for watching, Jenny!
Hello, what primer would you recommend for dry skin??
erisedzoe13 I think the Almay CC Luminous Primer or L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer (my personal favorite) are beautiful especially on dry skin that needs a little pick me up glow. They also don't feel heavy on the skin and can be mixed with your foundation to create a more dewy finish.
Could I use these as an eyelid primer? I want my eyeshadow to stick on at the pool :)
Milly Vanilly I've found in my personal experience that face primers don't work nearly as well as eyeshadow primers as most face primers are silicone base and eye shadows just glide around throughout the day. Eyeshadow primers seem to be "sticky" and does a fabulous job at keeping your eyeshadow stay in place!
such a helpful video!! thanks!!
What's the best primer and foundation for flaky dry/combination acne skin? Whenever I apply my foundation it ends up looking cakey. And I need something drugstore priced to fit my budget...
Google User MEE TOO!!! If you find something that works please please let me know because Im so over this 😞
Google User ditto
Hayley H I’m super late to this party but I have the same issue and I use the angel veil NYX primer or the fix and perfect Rimmel primer and the fit me for normal to dry skin dewy+smooth foundation. I have combination skin that is flakey dry, big pores in some areas and small breakouts. I specifically use Fit Me 125 but it’s a newer fit me foundation they have and i love it. I’ve only had it for a week but it’s comparable to my tarte foundation that’s 3 times as much money.
could i used for super oily skin the Almay and loreal magic lumi primer??
I don't know that they would be my first pick for oily skin since your skin type will naturally create a "glow" as oil develops. These might exaggerate it. I would say if you want to add a more iridescent glow to skin you might be better off with using powder highlighters and luminescent finishing powders like Hourglass or Makeup Revolution after you have applied your foundation and oil controlling powder. I would probably also use a mattifying primer underneath my foundation just to help extend the wear and try to keep the oil production at bay longer. They would probably work better and last longer with oily skin.
baby skin is the BEEEEEEEEEEST!
I've tryed to Rimmel London primer and it doesn't do that great of a job on my skin. My foundstion doesn't last at all with it and it makes me oily quicker.
Which primer is best for very dry skin ?? Thanks
mehak khan The Almay Luminous Primer would be my first pick followed by the Loreal Youth Code.
Thanks for answring my question 😊 ❤
You are welcome : )
NYX hydrating primer does wonders
well honey there is one thing I do not agree with and that it is the baby skin pore reducer...and it does kinda make my skin a Lil slippery feel under my foundation but idk ...other ppl have there own oppinon I guess!!!!
