    Bought this light few days after it came out. Really like the auxiliary lights on it. Have a couple other different ones like fire flies and Astrolux with auxiliary lights but the ones on this one are much brighter.

    I got mine with SST-20 Deep red and W2 Green emitters, i love it. I’m going to order a custom build with Osram W2.1 6000K and UV emitters in a couple days.

      @@FlashlightEnthusiast i have nearly every other Noctigon and Emisar light so I figured I’d add some color to my collection.

      Sure thing, do you you is in practice for some particular purpose, or just for fun and variety of LEDs?

      @@FlashlightEnthusiast I use different ones for different things, and I like to have a good selection for fun.

      I am sure it is. I have seen both sst20 deep red (Emisar D4) and Osram green (in Noctigon K1) in action. They have this amazing tint, very pleasant to look at

    I'm curious. When you call color temperature tint, what are you calling tint?

    • @FlashlightEnthusiast
      @FlashlightEnthusiast  3 роки тому

      I got this question already, I must have misspoken myself. Color temperature is measured on Kelvin, tells you how warm or cool the temperature of light is. Tint however tells you whether the light tends to be more rosy or green. That's how I understand it right now.

      Hey mate just wondering how you like the beam and output on your nichia 519a? Considering the same emitter option on mine soon :)

    I heard a lot about 2 throw 1 mule configs on the main LEDs. What's your opinion on that?

    • @FlashlightEnthusiast
      @FlashlightEnthusiast  3 роки тому

      Thanks for the input. I never heard about such configuration, yet it should give you much more sidelight in exchange for less throw. I am not a fan of mules, but it might have soma advantages mixing close illumination with a bit of throw

    great review, can you use the glow rings underneath the carclo optics?

      Thank you! Of course you can use glow gaskets under 3 triple optics 😉

  • @1fareast14

    Anyone try swapping the optics on these? I saw someone use the elliptical ones on reddit. Floody on ch2 and narrow spot carclo on ch1 could be interesting

    If I could mix the two groups like the if25 does I would buy 10 of these in different combinations..

    Very nice and beautiful flashlight. The two channels is interesting. But is it useful ? Makes it more a toy.

    • @KBWrecker
      @KBWrecker 3 роки тому

      I have to agree. Unless of course you choose red LEDs for the second channel and use that for hunting.

    • @FlashlightEnthusiast
      @FlashlightEnthusiast  3 роки тому

      Well, it depends on your needs really - I can imagine hiking or camping situations, where such setting might be useful, but maybe it's just me :D For the majority of users 1 flashlight might be enough...
