PONYBOYonline he said that this is a joke. Also, this would be perpetual motion, which doesn't exist, as magnets eventually loose their magnetic properties
Nicolas Broszky I love how you argued, and assumed what I was stating. I didn't argue with what ever you just said.... What I was stating, is that the magnet pushes equally in all directions, so it wouldn't move at all.....
If you choose stromg enough magnets the fan will spin for a very long time. the problem is that the strength of the magnet is reduced over time and will eventually stop after a year or so
The transition from 0:47 - 0:49 shows that the camera is being held perfectly still in the same frame. (Notice the crack on the table, stays in the same spot even though the fan is moved) Now normally there's nothing wrong with a camera on a tripod but when it comes to these types of videos where they seem to present the impossible, the biggest dead giveaway that the video is fake is that the camera is being held perfectly still, no 360 view, no alternative angles. It makes it very easy in post processing to cut out parts of the views, perhaps the fan is plugged in the entire time. But with some video editing it's really easy to replace that with a section of the wires not plugged in. Also notice how when he uses two hands to stop the fan from spinning, he tries very hard to keep the fan in the same exact position. This is also so that the video cutting doesn't look suspicious. If the camera isn't moving at least move the fan. Since both of them are not moving and this defies physics anyways, it's safe to assume this is a video trick. I just wanted to give an explanation that anyone could understand not simply, "It's fake because of physics" that still doesn't help most people understand WHY it's fake when the video clearly shows the opposite. Great video, good for catching lots of views. But bad fake! Try harder next time! Obviously just adding a battery out of view works too and that those wires could just be dummies.
He's not "proving", he responding to the OTHER sentence in the description. The one that says "Can you tell how I did it? Let me know in the comments! :)"
Yeah, I drew a diagram for something like this when I was like 12. The only major difference was (if I can recall back that far) was that instead of one magnet on the outside, it would have a series of magnets angled in the direction of the intended rotation. The major problem was (or at least I suspected, considering I never actually built one) was that the repelling magnetic force of the first magnets would never give enough momentum to pass through the repelling force of the second magnets around the chain. Basically, the second magnets are repelling in the opposite rotational direction just as much as the first magnets are repelling in the intended rotational direction, and beings both of the magnets have the same, or similar, repelling force, and considering you would eventually be farther away from the first magnets, than the second ones (no matter the configuration), the first magnets would never give you enough momentum to pass far enough through the second (or third, etc) magnets repelling field to get back into the next intended rotational repelling chain. That is as best as I can explain it, lol. Now, on to how I think you did this. Well, considering we can't actually see part of the fan that has the wire coming out, and considering it is on a wooden desk of some sort (blocking the bottom of the fan, and anything underneath it as well) I would assume you just taped another 3 pin Molex connector to the side of the fan, and then had the _actual_ fan connector go to some type of power source under the table through a drilled hole under the fan.
He used a thin wire going into the fan, if you noticed he didnt need to spin the fan after stoping it for a sec but when be first did it, it moved, almost all free energy videos are done this way.
+Joe Blow So what you're saying is that this is fake, which puts my utter confusion to rest. If this actually worked the way explained, wouldn't this be an easily replicable perpetual motion device, essentially allowing for an infinite source of electricity?
Obviously it's not fake. The way it works and looks makes total sense. Thank you very much for sharing this awesome idea with the world. Now I'm gonna make my own version on a bigger scale and have free energy for life! :)
+Ron Paul I am not so sure to be honest. There is a constant whine in the background which could easily be another fan. The magnets repelling each other would stop it from spinning when stationary but when you start it the airflow should keep it going at a decent rate I am not saying that this is fake, I am saying that it is possibly fake
Cali Envy yeah so true, that video is bullshit, because he put that weak thin magnet on the side of the fan, not against those magnets, this is clearly fake. Yes i believe it can work but you do need a powerful magnet and put it against those magnets on the fan in order to cause a spin!!!

I found a REAL way to get free energy from nothing... Just put on a tin foil hat, take off all other clothes and then run around in the most public place you can find.
I'm going to duct tape 7 huge neodymium magnets on each tire of my car. Then I'm going to put a really really big neodymium magnet in each wheel well. Perpetual car!
I like how you had used a spiral setup to create momentum. I had made a mistake of just placing the at the tips of the fan blades which didn't allow for constant movement. Back to the drawing board
I have long been interested in the idea of a "permanent magnetic generator" that uses known engine designs and magnets to create perpetual energy. Imagine a rotary engine with magnets that attract and repulse in the place of the pistons. I have heard it is impossible to create perpetual motion but it seems possible to me in theory with permanent magnets.
İmagine an electric car with a split battery system where one half charges as the other half is being used and it Auto switches. Charged with a magnet system located under the trunk.
Congrats! You solved perpetual motion. You know, that thing scientist and engineers have been trying to crack for centuries, and is impossible. If only they knew all you had to do it stick some magnets to a fan.
It's fun to watch the comments of people who didn't watch until the end vs people who know that perpetual energy is a myth. *Anyways* my theory of how you did it is by making it to it spun a while, kinda like a weighted spinning top, and stopping it before we'd be able to see it slow down.
This fan could be made to work on gravity and the energy in the magnets. I invented something very similar to this some 15 years back and this worked fine because the magnets themselves contributed to the gravity shift. It is not perpetual motion as that technically does not exist. The entire universe is apparently expanding and if so that is the root cause of any perpetual motion we might observe in any apparatus.
Huya Wachako bro you actually got his trick he used the unbalanced weights of the fan's sides to only start spinning when he gives it a push and then the wind was strong enough to give it a spin, well done.
It has to do with how you have placed the weight on each blade. i.e.magnets so that it is off balanced so after you start spinning the weight near the end of the blade forces the blades to drop to the bottom and the weights closer to the inside propel enough mass to counter in the reverse.
If this was real, he would become a millionaire because no scientist has ever made a perpetual motion machine before, even though they've been working at it for years and years. It isn't really that simple to creat something so revolutionary.
Its the balance of the load combined with the magnetic force. The magnets at the edges of the blades produce more momentum since they are further away from the center while going down. And the arangement of the magnets means the magnet at the top of the fan pulls them back up, because they are gradually closer to it. Then its just conserving that momentum to keep the spin going. Only works because the fan is placed on the side like that. Lay it down and the half of it that requires gravity to do the job stops working and the thing stops. That said i do wonder what kind of RPMs youd get from this and how long it would actually keep spinning before the magnets loose their charge.
Yes. I can tell how you did it. It's like most magic tricks. It all depends on the angle you see the trick. You adjusted the fan so you can't see the wire you threaded through the wood base. You attached a false wire to the side to give the illusion it's unplugged. You'd turn the fan on after you spun the blade by hand by someone else or by a foot pedal.
This works but it uses the magnetic force of the magnets. When the magnets wear out then it will stop working. So it's not forever, and it doesn't create more energy than is used - making the magnets takes a lot of energy, whether that comes from the Earth's pressure stuff or a factory.
i know how you faked it... so for 1 you have a fan noise in the background (THATS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT) because when you start the fan movement. you start to chant to the dark lord and feed him small pieces of your soul in order to get the fan to move, BUT where you messed up is when you stopped the fan with your left hand, that was incredibly stupid because satan HATES IT when you use your left hand.
Holy shit the don't give it away i was busy reading about all this physics conspiracy shit like how "magnets don't work that way" or "gods powers aren't strong enough" etc ,etc, but now I know the real reason! Spoiler alert for all you out there
It isn't fake, nor is it a perpetual energy machine. It simply runs on the energy of the magnets, but it will not spin forever. The magnets will slowly lose charge, slowing the fan down until it stops.
I still think if you get the right magnets at the correct angles, maybe get some levitation and a vacuum container involved, something can be concocted to spin continuously/forever...maybe produce electricity as well
I'm not gonna complain about him stopping it every few moments. I mean, it's not like I get anything out of watching it spin on forever over a screen. I'd rather create one myself or something.
People please, of course it works. It's easy to make a fan spin infinitely. All you have to do is spin it with the wind from another fan he had out of frame.
Did not actually demonstrate "forever spinning". THAT would be kind of difficult to demonstrate, oui? The finger motions seem oddly repetitious. I'll guess video editing makes it look like it goes longer than it really did.
An electric fan off camera is used to blow air into the fan. It's slightly off balance because of the pointless magnets glued onto it, so it needs a finger start.
Lol I was about to rage comment until I read the description. An easy way to do something like this is a replace the fixed magnet with a pulsing electromagnet to give it a gentle kick to make up for frictional loss each time.
I don't know the physics but if this worked there would be one in every house - no such thing as "free energy" and by free energy I don't include wind, solar or tidal energy. Free energy from a machine that once started continually produces power without any assistance apart from its own momentum. A small device that can be stopped by a finger is useless low energy but a small device that can cut your finger off, thats real useful energy but an impossible dream.
you faked it with a motor that can be switched on when that magnet up top is placed but the motor is not strong Enough to spin it so you flip it to give the illusion that it can't start by it self and the wires on the bottom left are the fake ones am I close?
MCommandguy Look up Over Unity, You can't create energy you can only transfer energy from one state to another so If this was to keep spinning it would mean he is creating energy( not even are sun creates energy) . It also cant keep spinning because, of the forces like friction and the magnets pulling on the other magnet when it passes by it. Not to mention the friction it takes for turning a turbine to create energy. I have to deal with this every day explaining this same thing with people who try to make this.
+Light Show I never said 1: that he created energy. I said that if you place the magnets properly, you can make things spin, until the magnets wear out. 2:that this video was real. I just said he also could have faked it in another way.
So the force of the fan magnets’ revolution increases after an initial force applied because the magnet keeps on trying to pull the ones closest to it but that in turn causes it to lose its stake at equilibrium? So if the magnets and fan didn’t degrade, would it run forever? I’m taking a physics class and this is my attempt to grasp what’s happening btw.
Cyborg Pirate Ninja Jesus ah you are correct. I have been mistaken. I was rather brash because I keeped getting these free energy videos suggested when all I was looking for was info about neodynium.
MrMinecrafter49 the guy nods towards you by trying to type in your native language, and you swear to him. try to type something in his language - hungarian or arabic, whatever it is... then we'll lough :/
Now what happens if you put and alternating weight inside off it making the fun use the inertia to perpetual swing it forward making it give additional momentum to the magnets swing, you think it would make it go on for ever?
Actually, all fans use magnets. They all use Electromagnets, which means they only repel or attract when electricity through them. (probably knew that last part but whatever)
It is fake! because: 1) Perpetuum mobile cant never exist 2) If you look on frame of ventilator cables are sorted: red, yellow, black ; and if you look on conector cables are sorted: yellow, red, black 3) How will it works?: In table is drilled hole for cable which leads to an electricity source
MG Skarekrow wow really lmao where do you think he got the magnet from that he put on the outside of the fan... Lol it's from a hard drive and guess what a hard drive is in every pc and laptop. I invented something very similar to this some 15 years back and this worked fine because the magnets themselves contributed to the gravity shift. It is not perpetual motion as that technically does not exist. The entire universe is apparently expanding and if so that is the root cause of any perpetual motion we might observe in any apparatus.
a forever fan..... just like heavy metal fans
You can hear the blower in the background...
Huya Wachako at the end of the video they said it was fake.
Huya Wachako bro you actually got his trick he used the unbalanced weights of the fan's sides to only start spinning when he gives it a push and then the wind was strong enough to give it a spin, well done.
obiviously is fake, it aint forever. you can see at the end... the fan has stopped
even if it was the magnets would stop working
No shit sherlock, read the description.
The Government: *Loads shotgun* He knows too much. (Yeah, I know it's fake, don't kill me)
even said it was a fake at the end of video
you have to believe in yourself
Givemeafinname yes because the gravity is the force that makes it spinning
It has to do with how you have placed the weight on each blade. i.e.magnets so that it is off balanced so after you start spinning the weight near the end of the blade forces the blades to drop to the bottom and the weights closer to the inside propel enough mass to counter in the reverse.
If this was real, he would become a millionaire because no scientist has ever made a perpetual motion machine before, even though they've been working at it for years and years. It isn't really that simple to creat something so revolutionary.
What the hecks. The video was over and I was still saying "Let it spin by itself already".
I think it keeps on spinning because of its balanced or should i say ( unbalanced) metals you have on the blades.
+christian arechiga it's take read the description
+Bob A i did. It also asks how do we think it spins. Thats my guess👆🏼
K
Its the balance of the load combined with the magnetic force. The magnets at the edges of the blades produce more momentum since they are further away from the center while going down. And the arangement of the magnets means the magnet at the top of the fan pulls them back up, because they are gradually closer to it. Then its just conserving that momentum to keep the spin going.
Only works because the fan is placed on the side like that. Lay it down and the half of it that requires gravity to do the job stops working and the thing stops.
That said i do wonder what kind of RPMs youd get from this and how long it would actually keep spinning before the magnets loose their charge.
sorcery confirmed. ...or you are just blowing air through the fan
+TheAlabasterdeplume ha got em!
Dude if you go to the end of the video it says that it is fake which it is.
+BulletProof Tomato your an idiot read the comment
+Julian Haddad You're
+Lukas Bihari HES SAYING WHAT HE THOUGHT IT WAS
people stop commenting its fake, he already say so, watch till end ffs
the power cable you show is a fake, the real cable is threaded through the table top into a power unit :)
Finish the video and read the description
+emiliano mendivil armenta I did... I read the part which said "let me know in the comments"
This is my prediction as well.
***** lol whereas a much simpler explanation would be absurd.... put it this way , why didnt he move it..
so "not moving the camera" is now camera trickery?
I promise you, you're wrong.
+FSUJD524 idiot
He's using an air compressor to spin the fan.
You people fucking amaze me!
I think he cross dissolved a clip of the fan spin faster after he spun it first with his finger.
Just watched the video today and I thought of a new name. The forever stopping fan.
If this would actually spin forever there wouldnt be a need for engines
ZwEx Clan yeah
ZwEx Clan That's completely false...
Tek Byte It isn't
Tek Byte If something could spin forever so in fact create fraction forever then why would there be a need for engines so create fraction?
to create fraction*
Holy shit... This could fix the energy crisis!
Oh wait...god damnit..
+I Love Coffee :3 ewww who put u on this planet
geeettttttt dunked on!!!
+I Love Coffee :3 lol
This works but it uses the magnetic force of the magnets. When the magnets wear out then it will stop working. So it's not forever, and it doesn't create more energy than is used - making the magnets takes a lot of energy, whether that comes from the Earth's pressure stuff or a factory.
Ratio of dislike to like is 9:11
Delta Cubing Thank you! I was actually pretty curious!
Your soul has is mine really?
now it is 1.25:1 rounded
what the power companies dont want you to know lmao
Someone has been skipping physics class
i know how you faked it... so for 1 you have a fan noise in the background (THATS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT) because when you start the fan movement. you start to chant to the dark lord and feed him small pieces of your soul in order to get the fan to move, BUT where you messed up is when you stopped the fan with your left hand, that was incredibly stupid because satan HATES IT when you use your left hand.
+mad hatter god is not real
+Kyle U. Thank you for the laugh.
Holy shit the don't give it away i was busy reading about all this physics conspiracy shit like how "magnets don't work that way" or "gods powers aren't strong enough" etc ,etc, but now I know the real reason! Spoiler alert for all you out there
Forever spinning fan? You stop it every 2 seconds.
It isn't fake, nor is it a perpetual energy machine. It simply runs on the energy of the magnets, but it will not spin forever. The magnets will slowly lose charge, slowing the fan down until it stops.
knowing this is fake, it still pissed me off he kept stopping it xD
I thought the video was cool until you said it was fake, make's me wonder if I can trust any of your videos.
I still think if you get the right magnets at the correct angles, maybe get some levitation and a vacuum container involved, something can be concocted to spin continuously/forever...maybe produce electricity as well
As fake as the typos.
Read description.
cole Peterson I already did. That's why I said it's as fake as the typos.
cole Peterson
Bassotronics
Why the fuck is ur name black?
I hear the fan of a hairdryer in the background!
I'm not gonna complain about him stopping it every few moments. I mean, it's not like I get anything out of watching it spin on forever over a screen. I'd rather create one myself or something.
little does the comment section know: it's fake
Stop stopping it damn you!!!!
Carter Sloan I know, stupid shit sacks.
Guys watch the whole video
At the end he clearly says that this video is fake
Lol I was about to rage comment until I read the description.
An easy way to do something like this is a replace the fixed magnet with a pulsing electromagnet to give it a gentle kick to make up for frictional loss each time.
Just when a poor man like me thought I hit the jackpot... damn
no sound so you can't hear the can of air spraying...
1 minute and 45 seconds wasted
you faked it with a motor that can be switched on when that magnet up top is placed but the motor is not strong Enough to spin it so you flip it to give the illusion that it can't start by it self and the wires on the bottom left are the fake ones am I close?
I am replying to what he said in the description
It actually moves without electricity, only it isn't perpetual, because the magnets wear off after some time.
+Light Show he also said it was fake
+Light Show I never said 1: that he created energy. I said that if you place the magnets properly, you can make things spin, until the magnets wear out. 2:that this video was real. I just said he also could have faked it in another way.
So the force of the fan magnets’ revolution increases after an initial force applied because the magnet keeps on trying to pull the ones closest to it but that in turn causes it to lose its stake at equilibrium? So if the magnets and fan didn’t degrade, would it run forever?
I’m taking a physics class and this is my attempt to grasp what’s happening btw.
before it could stop you stoped it and started it all over again
what a waste of server space. anyone claiming these free energy devices are full of themselves.
Someone didn't watch the whole video.
Cyborg Pirate Ninja Jesus ah you are correct. I have been mistaken. I was rather brash because I keeped getting these free energy videos suggested when all I was looking for was info about neodynium.
+Cyborg Pirate Ninja Jesus These machines can't exist. Have you ever heard of the laws of thermodynamics
Mr.Dr.Prof. Gandalf I never claimed they existed, or could exist.
They could in zero-g.
OP has created a fan that will spin FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!
@ 1:42 you state this is a fake, what is the purpose of the video then ?
to prove how stupid people are for believing that its possible to create unlimited free energy
***** Learn to spell idiot
MrMinecrafter49 the guy nods towards you by trying to type in your native language, and you swear to him. try to type something in his language - hungarian or arabic, whatever it is... then we'll lough :/
He explains the purpose in the description. If you are curious about something you should dig deeper before getting all shitty.
Please don't put magnets in your pc people lol
Now what happens if you put and alternating weight inside off it making the fun use the inertia to perpetual swing it forward making it give additional momentum to the magnets swing, you think it would make it go on for ever?
he is stopping it at every 2 seconds
Let the fan spin for more than 2 seconds next time
Actually, all fans use magnets. They all use Electromagnets, which means they only repel or attract when electricity through them. (probably knew that last part but whatever)
It is fake! because: 1) Perpetuum mobile cant never exist
2) If you look on frame of ventilator cables are sorted: red, yellow, black ; and if you look on conector cables are sorted: yellow, red, black
3) How will it works?: In table is drilled hole for cable which leads to an electricity source
Yes, putting high-powered magnets in your computer is fucking smart.
That looked like a table.
MG Skarekrow when the fuck did he put magnets in a pc?
Lol think before you comment
Lol! Nice one! and guys, it's a friggin' joke xD
MG Skarekrow wow really lmao where do you think he got the magnet from that he put on the outside of the fan... Lol it's from a hard drive and guess what a hard drive is in every pc and laptop. But yes the video is fake it would never work anyways due to the "sticky spot" if you don't know what that means then just go back to watching cat videos lol
Lol the magnets gonna weaken overtime so it aint "forever"
magnets demagnitise so its not unlimited
well true but if u change it when u see the power low u could still making spin, but although i dont know how long it takes for the magnet to deplete
+THE NIGHTMAREM13 How the fuck is it "forever spinning" if you recharge it?
but its need long years to lose power
It is litteraly is not physically possible because it is a perpetual motion machine
