Thank you so much for sharing your valuable experiences! I will start my piscine in Seoul, tomorrow.(to be accurate, today's morning because it is already past midnight). I will keep following your experiences and look forward to have an inspired experience like you! Cross your fingers for me!
Thanks for sharing the experience in 42! Im going to start in Madrid very soon and im so nervous. One cuestion, how much people enter in the pool and how much pass it finaly? Thanks and sorry about my English.
You're welcome :) Well, in my piscine there were about 500 people at the beginning, but some of them gave up (there were 325 people subscribed for the last exam), and 175 people were admitted Good luck!!! 🍀
How many piscine have been done in year you took part in. I joined to piscine but I made it 10 level in test so I will go to at least Piscine 3 I m afraid of couldnt participate to piscine
Do you get to choose which languages you would learn at the Piscine, or is it all rounded? Like do you get to choose towards software/web/data science/AI or you will learn all of it?
@@codinggirl_ Thanks for the reply, I have 1 more question. I'm currently an undergraduate Web Dev student, what happens if I made it to the pool or the piscine and was selected to be into the 12 months core programme. Do I have to drop my diploma/degree to continue the 42 path?
Apexftw depends on your abilities, motivation and the way you live :) Personally, I manage 42 with a part-time job, and many people combine it with studies or part-time as well
Hello, I registered at Center 42, and I have a question, did you do the two-hour game test? I had many problems with that but I found the answer from UA-cam and Google. I don't know if it's hard for everyone or I'm not a perfect person for coding.
Hey there , can u tell me what do u think now after all this time passed ? After u registered and all , how do u feel over all about the test and everything
I recommend finish this Udemy course www.udemy.com/course/c-programming-for-beginners-/ (you can get discount by getting to the website from rakuten) first before trying out the Priscine. The first few days the course will be jumping into materials (C language) that are not easy to learn in few days. The videos that they provided are not that good. If you get stuck, you can find past student's solutions from looking around Github. You can also find some past exam questions to study through github search. However, those past exam questions will likely not be the same as the actual final exam as they probably updated it.
Thank you very much for your comment! The problem with Github is that many students tend to just copy the code thinking that they understood the logic, and before the piscine you don't really understand what they ask you to do in the subject (it was especially the problem in Moscow's campus for the first pisicnes there). I'll add your recommendation of C course to the description of my videos about the school, hope it'll help the future participants! About school's videos - this year they updated them (and they were really better that the old ones that I found in intra when I changed the language to English), but they were all in French (I think they gonna add eng subs for the next year)
But for this school are necessery to have already coding skill or you can partecipate from zero? I have passerò the First step But i dont understand if Is necessery to.have some coding skill already

Hi!! Do I need to know French or they teach in English too? Thanks

Apexftw during the piscine it’s only C language. As for the main cursus - you also start with C and then you have different options, paths to choose

Hey :) i did the online test and messed the memory part up. The other one was okay. Do you think i still have a chance to enter the pool?
Yes , it happened to me to mess the memory teste (level 13) but with the second one (level 14) I passed … hope u pass too
I messed the memory one badly (maybe 8?) and in the second test (the one like robozzle) I got to level 12 and I passed

Hey! Was wondering if you prepared prior to the Piscine and, if you did, what you would suggest studying on? Thanks
shared my advice here, but I guess you've already watched :) ua-cam.com/video/VdSqJnR5Ubw/v-deo.html
The number of likes was 442, I was undecided whether to like it or not. I wouldn't want to spoil this lucky number :) now it's 443
Hi! I will start my piscine in a few days. I'm very anxious :)
Good luck!!
Hi, its been more than 2 years. How is it going now? What are you doing? Are you happy? Tell us more!

Luis Albert Diaz Garcia salut! It’s C language during the piscine and the first 6 months as well, when you’ll have different options

Having a coding mind is all. The mind of a Zen outed observer. Deal with problems with fresh curiosity and focus and you’ll be fine .
