Great video. You make a compelling case for making full staffing of fire departments a top priority. A factory can be automated, business productivity can be improved with better software and online meetings, even our manufacturing has become more "efficient" for corporations by outsourcing the jobs offshore, but when there's a fire or other emergency nothing can replace having enough men and women to do the job of firefighting.
There are a lot of people around any city you never that you need help until you need help. When that help comes you don’t need them anymore & that is a waste of time. To a firefight & paramedic their timing means everything.

Your department only has 3 guys on an engine co.? How about your trucks? how the hell dose that work? We have 4 on our engines and 6 on our trucks
