My dad was LAFD for 36 years. To give you context to what I seen growing up. I’m 41 years old, and I seen him going into the first interstate bank during a bomb scare that was all over the news, dangerous situations where he was treated for smoke inhalation, he was shot at in his rig for 72 hours during the riots in 92. And after all of this, he spent his twilight years and end of tenure in pacific palisades at 69s.
Welcome to the fold, maam. Never stop showing up. 💯

Don't ever give up! mental fortitude, clarity and toughness plays big into making it in alot of places. I personally saw a 10 mile a day runner not make it through same training class as myself. His group was after mine in burn building and while were waiting to go again after next 2 groups, seen him having been assisted out start panicing and hyperventilating. Making sound decisions when things around you using your critical thinking abilities will show and you'll make it in whatever want to do using it.

IF you truly want it AND can handle the physicality of it, keep training hard and get strong. Some people test for up to 10 years before getting hired, 12 months is just a speed bump. Most important, you want to be hired because you are highly qualified, not because you are female.

Men that are more qualified than her were passed over so she could get hired. Every single male firefighter is more qualified than her due to naturally occurring strength imbalances. Have them lift weights and see for yourself. A 6'2" 220lb man almost died in a housefire because a 5'4" 130lb woman firefighter was unable to move him more than three feet. She passed the physical aptitude test to become a firefighter. Thankfully a 6'4" male firefighter entered the room and carried him out in 15 seconds. We have to accept reality. Lives are literally at stake. Reality is not sexist, nor is it bigotry. Any differences between the sexes should be acknowledged, celebrated and applied in the most logical manner. Women make great medics. But firefighters? Let's be real.

    • @creepcraddle

@@derp8575Okay. Then make the aptitude tests harder then. I don't know why she was expected to do that if she couldn't lift a man. Plenty of women are strong enough to move a person but if you can't do it you probably shouldn't be hired like you said.

@@creepcraddle Most women are not strong enough to lift and move a fully grown adult. In fact, this all started in 1975, when Brenda Berkman could not pass the physical aptitude test for the FDNY. Up until that point, literally not one woman had passed the test. Many men also failed the test. But the feminists saw themselves as victims and sued the fire department, which caused a major reduction in physical standards. Blax did the same thing when some of them failed the academic portion of the test. This has happened in fire, police and military. Now it's too late to reverse the trend. Any firemen and policemen who voice concerns will be either fired or sent to sensitivity training for reeducation. Now *that* is ideological terrorism!

Men that are more qualified than her were passed over so she could get hired. If you don't believe me, ask her and her male colleagues to try and carry a fully grown man. Why are we not hiring the best candidates for the job? Inclusion should not be considered when lives are at stake. We also see this inclusion madness happening in police departments. I have watched hundreds of body camera recordings. The women just can't cut it. Physical aptitude standards have been lowered for police and fire. Imagine you are 6'7" and weigh 220lbs like myself. You are almost passed out in your home due to smoke inhalation. You look up and see that your savior is a 5'4" tall woman firefighter. Will she be capable of pickup you up or even dragging you out? A man almost died in a similar scenario. Imagine making your life and the lives of your family more dangerous in order to satisfy DEI protocols and woke Progressives.

Standards were also lowered in the USA. No woman was able to pass the physical aptitude until Brenda Berkman sued and won. She was later fired for being unable to perform her work duties, so she sued again and won again, causing the standards to be lowered once again. Men that are more qualified than her were passed over so she could get hired. Every single male firefighter is more qualified than her due to naturally occurring strength imbalances. Have them try to lift another person and see for yourself.

Students are taught how to operate the levers and pullies of the systems which are owned and controlled by the one percenters. What is a medical student other than a big pharmaceutical pusher? What is a history student other than someone who was told by his professor to believe a certain historical narrative or he wouldn't graduate? My parents offered to pay for a full ride at college. Considering the cost of education, that was an extremely generous offer, but I had to decline. I had seen what the education system did to the minds of students and graduates. Group dynamic behavior and peer pressure keeps everyone in line with the establishment. There's a reason why most students and graduates are leftwing. There's a reason why most of them cannot debate to save their lives. Taught what to think, instead of how to think. There's a video on UA-cam of a professor deprogramming his students about the reality of BLM. It was painful to see so much cognitive dissonance. The title of that video is "Statistics on Cop on Black Crime". I doubt the students spoke much about it after class. Most of them are liberals and have to believe the original BLM narrative. Umm okay lol , not sure where you gather this information from or if you know anything about fire department operations, but As a firefighter myself, I can tell you that my tasks, duties, and assignments are not different than that of my crew, Matter of fact, in my department we rotate ridding positions, apparatus we ride and even fire houses based on the need so during my career I’d be assigned to do everything there is todo in operations. I can also tell you that there was Nothing different about my entrance testing or academy training besides the fact that had to work my ass off so I don’t have to listen to people like you say shit like this. I absolutely enjoy reminding people who either are really impressed Or really surprised that I can do my job that ITS MY JOB people don’t get and keep jobs they cannot do. So even if she “made it in” on a test that was adjusted. It doesn’t change the weight of the ladders we have to carry and throw, or the gear that she has to wear while carrying tools and climbing a ladder or whatever her day in operations looks like. So any organization making a decision like that is doing a disservice to its self, its employees and the community they serve and that’s unfortunate.
