Maybe all the struggle we went through before was a blessing in disguise. Now that I've gone through all that I appreciate these wins so much more. Every goal and every win feels special. That first trophy under Maresca is gonna hit different.

All round team performance was amazing. Think Caiceido nailed the inverted RB role with MOTM performance. It's great to see goals from 3 of the forward players today. Shows we are now heading in the right direction.

Maresca is a unbelievable coach he has the perfect tailored gameplan for every team we face. Whilst also being true to his attacking philosophy.

Also I think we need to give credit to the recruitment team for finding Enzo M cos they have taken a lot of stick from a lot of fans and pundits

It's the way he adapts his philosophy and the way he studies and set up the team to counter the strategy of the opposition that is REALLY impressive. The guy is an AMAZING tactician. It feels like the players know exactly what to expect before the match starts.

A line up that allowed Enzo, Romeo and Moises to all start without sacrificing an attacker was a master stroke. Hope we see this again against top 6 teams.

Happy to be shut up. He's taken a look in the mirror and has put in some work to try to become the player we thought we were signing. Huge credit to Maresca for preserving with the player, I feel Maresca's support has brought Enzo through a difficult time both on and off the pitch.

Shocked me with the set up, Enzo looks like all of his weaknesses are being covered by other players. Palmer can’t be man marked out of the game. Caicedo and cucurella two MOTM for me, so much energy, covered so much ground.

Maresca even in pre season looked a class act, he spoke well in press conferences, was very honest in regards to who would and wouldn't be in his squad (i think players respect that, rather than being lied too) and about what his aspirations were for the season.
He has gone about shaping the squad (see pre-season comments), he has rotated the team and shown himself to be tactically versatile when needed. Its noticeable that not a single player has complained so far this year, no public breakdowns or arguments despite having limited playing time (think Nkunku etc) which suggests he has a firm hold over the dressing room.
Players have shown they understand what is being asked of them (Poch was a disaster in this respect), players are being utilised well, and are clearly improving with every match.
Has he made mistakes? Yeah possible 1 or 2, mainly not being positive enough in certain games but christ this is my nit picking, he has been tremendous so far.

I dont think we will see this formation again unless the opposition demands it. The nice thing with Enzo is he can try something once and not repeat the same thing. But i do feel we will use this Caicedo role more in the seriously physical games

It’s funny everything the Leicester fc fans were saying about enzo before he joined us I think the complete opposite. ‘He’s boring, doesn’t have a plan B’ few months into his regime and we’re one of the best attacking squads on the planet and go into every game with a different set up and plan.

The sadest thing is a large part of the fan base cried to have him out because of some bad preseason games. He's so much better than lamps, potter and Poch and has the potential to be better than Tuchel

  • @johnlatorre7500

Cucrealla should be our new permanent captain. He leads by example, plays with intensity, contributes at both ends of the pitch, has a great attitude (big money signing, had form issues but then won his spot back and has now been great the last 11 or so months), and by now is a regular starter, especially compared to James and even Enzo. Cucrealla also has plenty of EPL and international experience.

i couldn't believe how fluid we can play because we always stuck with tactical machine since conte and tuchel not disrespect the winner but not for long term like liverpool and city improved foundation as stable club for long run

Chelsea's next 2 months schedule looks extremely favoritable. If Chelsea puts a good winning run in the next 8 weeks, that should cement their spot in the top 4, maybe even the top 3 in the Premier League this season.

  • @bradcarby3765

You can see an intent. Maybe a style. Not a pattern. Southampton coaches have no idea what they will come up against this week. This is a very important point. Maresca is making his team very, very unpredictable, while still showing a method.

Yes, we have identity but as Maresca wisely says we are not yet there. The more they play together, the more they will naturally understand each other's movements. For me, this is the best team Maresça has assembled. I think he should try this against Southampton and Tottenham, if it works, then Gusto and Madueke should come in the second half, so are the rest. Finally, we need a good central defender and a goalkeeper. Sanchez makes us jittery.

Tbh i would of given Poch more time but I'm really glad the club didn't. Maresca has stitched the side together as a team, immediately, giving us a reason to believe in the potential of this squad. Swopping a champ league winning side for a squad of potential in 2 transfer windows from hell, imo, was a gamble but because the manager has so quickly stiched together a team, we can only improve? Come on the blues.
