Vintage Hi-Fi: 1980 Mitsubishi DA-R20 Stereo Receiver

These days I'm only using the R20 as a tuner and source selector, but it's also a pretty decent (and pretty) little vintage receiver. In this episode, we also take a look at the August 1980 issue of Audio magazine where they review the R20.

I acquired a Mitsubishi DA-R10 and totally satisfied with it plus the look is great.

I purchased one back in November of 1980, I still have the unit in the original box with the purchase receipt of $800. Mitsubishi also had a amplifier that docked into it, that had similar design with the rack inspired mounts

Vintage receivers are the best. Love the brushed aluminum face and wood cases, just wish i could afford the ones i really want.
