These are the Evo style lights I was talking about, you are making me want an IS again now, the IS300 is not available in manual in the UK though. I believe if you change the fuse value it should turn off the light on the dash, something to do with the change in current.
Got mine back from the shop on Wednesday. Manual now and drives like a dream. Have to take it easy for 500miles though because of the new clutch(stage 2)

Hey, for the "taillight out" warning light, the sensor is in the trunk under the plastic on the driver's side, there's a wire you can cut or depin to get that light off.

i did the same thing to my taillights on my is300, there’s a wire in the trunk that you need to disconnect on the left side of the trunk just beside the trunk hinges :)
I'm building a NA IS300 manual, wanna see what a stock 2j with a bunch of bolt ons and a tune can do plus it's gonna be my daily and a turbo would just add more maintenance

Swap in a Frs diff. Direct bolt in and LSD. Some don’t like the short gearing but those diffs are cheap and everywhere. The is300 lsd is hard to find.
