As a dude born in the early 90's. A professional lego builder was one of the first jobs I knew about and dreamed to do for the longest time.
Nice
try minecraft, its practically infinite and virtual lego with its own quirks,
Same,I dreamed to be a dinosaur too
I actually was a model builder for Legoland - while fun, it's not always.

Imagine you’re a duck who just laid eggs and you go to chatch some fish when suddenly you come back and the nest is gone :(
Nishinoya is watching youtube with us xD
G o o d
I feel so bad for the duck
at least not the kids...
@@GreedyOrange but the nest is there for a reason to keep the eggs warm so... there’s a chance they would die
Wow am so surprised, I never knew most these jobs could pay this much. I bounced around a lot having different ideas and waiting on the moment my opportunity is going to come knocking on my door, not until I got to my 30s I finally got my dream job working for a clothing line and also made good investments did my fortune change for the better. Some of this are rare art and talent we don’t see everyday.
Some of this jobs we already have ideas they exist but same are really impressive to discover like the lady with the plants.
The guy with the Lego is just pure genius.
Definitely rare jobs.
There are also crazy jobs like been paid to play video games.
What worthwhile investments are you making?
so far everything was ok untill they robbed duck nests
Yes... how are The eggs going to be warm when the mother duck is away they said it’s “ ethnical”
@@katherinespoon905 and for what anyway just a cover thats really sad
@@katherinespoon905 it is ethical. And it is. Go wach the full video and you ll see
Yeah
I still feel bad for the ducks they had to make the nests
It's sad that true art by hand it's getting overshadowed by mass producers, people all over the world that have years of experience in the arts deserve the recognition and it's worth full price.
We can't force people to appreciate skill and talent (I wish we could though).
I mean it's easier and achieves better result at Lower price. Obviously it's gonna become mainstream.
The hand made art is what's its name is art. It is no longer a business of making clothes.
with rising living costs and most on the verge of poverty I can also understand why things are mass produced, its cheaper
Nowadays even actual arists don't care about making stuff by hand. The amount of actually talented artists falling into the pit that is AI art and gladly parading the pieces their little algorithms spit out as if they actually made it themselves is staggering.
sell for organic look/original piece/performance.
demand is low but artists have always been poor
So much risk with that poisonous fish!
It almost rhymes!
Yeah!
BARS
I wonder how long it takes to grow one
wow it rhymes
I have a question about the feather/down collectors. Won't the eggs get cold? I know that the parents aren't far but I doubt they could pull off that much down to make another nest in say a day.
They leave just enough for the eggs to stay warm if you watch the video again you can see her put some back around the eggs so they stay nice and warm
@@michelle_plays1662 how did you know it’s enough? so the birds got extra feather in the first place?
I 'm here because I want to find a fun job that pays well
But aren't most of these things that insider has covered in other videos
Yeah it’s just a compilation
Yap!!!
this is just a compilation of the videos they had before-
me came here for the same reason!🤣
change your mind at do the things everyone hates and switch ur brain into thinking u enjoy it
"Finding the nests is hard work" yea now imagine having to rebuild it every week. They sell the products with eiderdown at an extremely high rate for the lack of work and care of the ducks. It's plain disrespectful and should be regulated more. Also I'm not sure but her handling those eggs doesn't seem like the best idea.
Agree. I'm still mad at it
That's not how it is done (at least in the country where i'm from). The eider duck (the only kind that produces eider down) is so domestic in behaviour when nesting that you can literally walk up to it and touch it when it's on the nest. This makes it vurnerable to predators, as they often don't flee when i danger. In the areas by the coast where they nest, locals have held a tradition for centuries that is profitable for both the people and the birds. They build many small shacks/houses on the land they own, that the birds can safely nest in as the human presence will keep predators away. After the eggs hatch and the duck and chicks abandon the nest, the people will gather the nest, clean the down and sell it for being used as filling in duvets (and sometimes winter clothes).
(the video did say that the woman only takes a small part of the nest and leaves more than enough for the eggs, when searching for them in the wild. However i'm only used to the former way of down harvesting)
@@ragnhildmd5063 it's fine if the eggs had already hatched bc they don't need the nest anymore but the literally showed a woman taking the eggs out of the nes and then taking the nest. i mean im glad she left some behind but i wish she's waited for the eggs to hatch first
@@blue.johnstone.z yeah, that's why i said that the practice is completely different in the region i'm from in Northern Norway. There, they build small sheds for the ducks (even with name signs for them) and keep them safe from predator until the eggs hatch and the ducks leave woth the chicks (they even have their own webpage with english available, so i can link it if you want to check it out. I have a duvet that was made by the women on the island, and it's amazing). I also disagree with her removing down from nests where the eggs haven't hatched yet. And her argument that "it Will easily be blown away by the wind after the eggs hatch and the nest is abandoned" seems strange to me. The down is so tangled with old prices of seaweed and straws that to make it keep it's shape that it should still be there for days after the nest is abandoned. I agree that it's nice she at least left some of the down to keep the eggs warm, but the practice that she and her colleagues does is not how it originally was done, and it doesn't sit right with me. It's luckily not how it's done in most other places where eider ducks nest. In other places of Iceland where people look after the ducks while they nest also let them stay on the nests until the eggs hatch.
@@ragnhildmd5063 i probably should have phrased my comment differently. i wasn't disagreeing with you lol
I love how humans assume how much fluff those birds need for their nests that they just steal most of it.
In their full video they talk about how they take less than 1/3rd or something like that. Uhm she took like 90% of that nest, and grabbed those eggs with bare hands leaving her smells and oils on them. Then turn around and sell products with eiderdown in it for a ridiculous price. It just seems like wealthy people wanting something that's so limited even if it's unethical.
@@Aldaiir a lot of things are unethical in the world, thats just one of the many.
@@reychiu2581 the fact that many things are unethical doesn’t automatically make it acceptable though. like, many innocent children are kidnapped, does that mean we shouldn’t try to help them, just because there’s a chance we’ll fail? 🤔🤔
@@thetunnelunderoceanblvd funny how this went from taking bird nests to kidnapping children
@@reychiu2581 ill admit it’s not the same and not the best comparison either, but the same logic can be applied to both situations. can’t it? people are scammed all the time, it’s next to impossible to stop it all, does it mean we shouldn’t try to stop it? 🤷🤷

3 years that's a bachelors degree, and 3 years of work experience in most profession is barely enough to claim to be experienced.

Printer watchers. There are rooms full of computer printers printing out material, usually at night, and it's the job of the watchers to make sure the printers are operating smoothly and to correct any issues.
Toilet roll machine watcher. It's their job to not only make sure the machine is working, but the paper doesn't break prematurely while being spooled.
Knight carver. On wooden chess sets, there are specific people dedicated to carving the knight. While most pieces can be put on a lathe, the knight has to be carved by hand and match all the other knights in the series.
Video game player substitute. Some games require players to level up their characters. Some rich people hire these people to play their characters while they are doing other things. When they have time to get back to playing, their character is leveled up more if not all the way. These games usually involve leader boards.
Icicle shooter. In Russia, icicles can form on buildings and get large enough to kill somebody if they fall. These people walk around with low caliber firearms and shoot the icicles off buildings.
Helicopter operated tree trimmer.
Fatberg removers. Fatbergs are very large chunks of fat that accumulate in sewers and block them. It's the job of these people to remove them.
Porn dubbers. In higher budget porn movies, these people add the squeals, grunts and baby talk in the sex scenes. I've only seen one in Germany, but they could exist elsewhere.

Am I missing something? If the Lego buildings are "built exactly on a 1 to 20 scale" then the One Trade Centre should be 90 feet tall, not 26 feet. (Actual building is almost 1,800ft)
im no expert but i believe the maths isn't that straightforward. bc they have to scale the weight and everything else too idk
@@blue.johnstone.z For scale models you just divide by the scale factor. (1:20 means for 1 cm of model its 20cm in real life). Think they are just wrong and meant 1:200..
