    I like how the same example was looked at from all different perspectives. This really helped me understand. Thank you to my professor for sending us this.

    I see. I got cognitive and humanistic switched, because I saw self-concept as a negative term, and problem-solving as a positive.

    EP would propose that all fears are fears of death. But they are fears evolved to protect the organism. That's it.

    I cannot talk to women, for fear of rejection. I find this sily, a No just means no change. I have no problems public speaking. I enjoy it.

      @@PsychExplained I was stupid in my 20s, I basically lost my driver's license on 2-24-04 by blowing a .224 on my 24th birthday. I got it back about 3 months ago, amd now have a class C non Cdl and I drive that big blue truck around. The sense of, I CAN GO ANYWARE I WANT that you get when you FIRST get your license. I'm feeling more aggressive, so I'll chat up some woman any day now, but I have been burned by the changing social norms. So this is goung to be interesting. Just no chicls with dicks

    Those are my answers:
    Q1. Why are some people aggressive, while others are passive?
    Answer: Socio - cultural perspective
    Q2. Why do some people have trust issues in relationships?
    Answer: Psychodynamic perspective
    Q3. Why do athletes feel a need to take steroids?
    Answer: Biological perspective

      @@PsychExplained It definitely did. My ap teacher assigned this to us. We're having a quiz tomorrow on this basically and functionalism, structuralism, and the people who created these ideas. What do you think will help me do good in ap psych exam? Our teacher tells us to make flashcards I don't know what's best for me

    • @PsychExplained
      @PsychExplained  4 роки тому +6

      @@sciencebrainwiz7051 flashcards, flashcards, flashcards! Create 3 piles:
      "I KNOW", "I KIND OF KNOW", "I DON'T KNOW". BUT, don't cheat and look at the definition on the back right away. Close your eyes and try to think of it. If you can't remember put in "I DON'T KNOW" pile. Keep flipping through the flashcards until you feel confident. I also recommended creating visuals on each flashcard. This helps the brain remember :)

      You wouldn't be alone....
      "Public speaking anxiety (PSA, also known as fear of public speaking, or the fear of speaking in public) is classified in the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders; American Psychiatric Association) as a social anxiety disorder.
