New Strut & Spring Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AST...
This video shows you how to install new front strut & spring assemblies from TRQ on your 2010-2014 Subaru Outback. TRQ Struts are made to fit your vehicle exactly, just like the original part. Struts can wear out as early as 50,000 miles. You should inspect them regularly for leaks or wear. Save time, money, and hassle by replacing an entire strut assembly.
This repair was done on a 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i 2.5L Wagon 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2010 Subaru Outback
2011 Subaru Outback
2012 Subaru Outback
2013 Subaru Outback
2014 Subaru Outback

Excellent videos. Not only a straightforward way to explain the procedure, but with the tool sizes and torque specs detailed. Always my first stop before I get to it! BTW- going to post this same comment on the front/rear video. Thank you 🙏🏼
Just put this into practice. Took me like 3 hours because I'm basically limited to a single torque wrench, harbor freight jack stands, tools that are the equiavelent of an ikea kit, and I'm a crappy (at best) when it comes to mechanics, but I reckon the second one will only take me 45 minutes and involve less cursing. Thanks!
Is a wheel alignment necessary after replacing front struts?
The bottom isnt sitting right and I even put back the old one back in also doesn’t fit now
I have a Question does 2010 legacy GT 2.5T Shocks absorber fits on my 2010 Outback 3.6r. I’m planning to swap it. Since The owners-manual is the same? Although 5engine are
In the manual like 2.0,2.5,2.5T, 3.6r & Diesel version.
Thanks
Yes they are the same
Hello, I noticed on your website the strut assemblies are listed for 2010-12 Subaru outbacks. Will they work for 2013-14 year models as well, seeing as how they’re all in the same generation?
Seems simple.
