I don't know if my kicks are higher but I know that I can do a split now😅 I never success doing a split before and it HURTS!! My friend is a yellow belt and she told me 'If you want to join taekwondo, you must know how to do a split' and she kept pushing my feet to the ground and my legs are BURNING!! Thanks to you know I can do a split😁❤️

You (or the community) have any tips for flexibility when you have a 2nd degree burn injury on your hip? stretching my left side is super painful, I'm stuck at hip level on my left side, but can kick headhight on my right. Any suggestions/tips? :)

This was great! I had to stop training taekwondo during quarantine and never got back into it and now we moved and I'm not able to go to my home dojang. And I hope that these stretches help me be able to do the things I used to do. FYI I'm high brown belt
Try conjugation of Yoga first in presence of Early sunrays.. That gives your body flexibility from the vitamin D and the natural expansion of bones that occurs after 6-7 hours of sleep overnight.. Then try breathing exercises.. That way your body can communicate with your muscles. You will see the result in a month. Happy learning. Bdw I'm 23 too. I am learning Kalaripayatt.. Oldest and the first of all the self defense forms in the world.

But before I could go forward and punch her right leg went inside out in a circle, then left leg aimed right into my face, right leg up high, left leg inside out...all aimed right at or across my face and all I could do was go😲😲😲😲😲and back up....I tried to go forward but she used both legs aimed high up at my face so all I could do was put my hands in a X across my face and go uggggh😭😭😭😭 because of her flexibility. 😤

Thanks! My main focus is Muaythai but I love being able to kick better and love these stretches as I got out of the military and my hips are tight!
muaythai even needs this kind of strech cause my hips also really tight as fck, after i strecth my hip about 2 days, i have higher kick than before.
