Gotthard/Tremola, the pass of passes! Gives you a feeling of history like none other. The trucks and (most) cars now take either the tunnel or the modern road, leaving those sweet, sweet hairpins for the bikes, motor- and other. And the views! The surroundings! Stunning! You did a wonderful job, Leonoor, of bringing it all to life! Thank you!
Well done another amazing video , especially the closing sequence, sun going down stars coming out and headlights going up the pass epic, motorcycles and mountains , the way to live our best life . All the very best p.s.great music
So my wife and I decided that our bike trip to Florence from the UK would include a couple of Swiss passes thanks to watching your videos. On the way down we did the Simplon and tomorrow we are doing the Gotthard. We have just rewatched this to remind ourselves about the Gotthard while sitting in our hotel room in Airolo. Imagine our surprise to discover that not only did we purely coincidentally book the Hotel des Alpes but we are also in a twin room and given the direction you looked at the window very possibly the same room! My wife squealed "it's the same room". So we are going to enjoy our second Swiss pass tomorrow and it's all your fault! :-) x
I laughed so hard at this comment! How funny is that! If you were on the second floor, all the way to your right, end of the hallway - then YES! That was "my" room. Haha I love this! Enjoy the Swiss mountains for me
You filming you ! nice touch, I appreciated the initiative anyway, Another stunner, But totally agree, never on weekends or holidays.. The time lapse sunset was nice too. I'm done with group riding & dashing about. It's "team ME' these days, I enjoy the solitude & making it up as I go along. That's "Biking". Flabbergasted at the low subscription rate ? Come on guys, hit that button.
Just watched your video and it lifted my spirits, the scenery and awesome roads with magical music and your narration is a real tonic and inspiration. Thank you once again for sharing and taking us along on your journey. 👌👏😍😎
I grew up in a small village near the swiss border. All the streets in my village were covered with cobblestones - I always felt the rattle in the handlebars of my bicycle and later, of my motorcycles. When I ride towards the Central Switzerland, I always cross the small towns between Zernez and St. Moritz: village roads covered with cobblestones ;-) My first time on the Tremola was with my mighty Road King from Harley. It changed completely his sound - because of the vibration *g* Then I rode it on a Zero SR/S - and I recalled the feeling of my youth, when the cobblestones were clearly hearable on my bicycle. I visited the Tremola in my convertible and with my Tesla - no matter in what vehicle, it's always magic! I know, I must ride it with a bicylce, some day ;-) Thank you, Leonoor, for your great footage of the pass that Swiss people consider "THEIR" pass. Showing it from either side, up and down, several time - that's just how I like to "dig in" into a pass. And I especially like that you finished your Gotthard day in Tiefenbach. There I spent 4 days when writing my stories about the Grimsel and the Furka. Roads were closed due to snow on the pass and landslides down at Goms. Nice memories .. I like your videos so much. Keep up your exceptional work!
And I know exactly which cobblestone roads you mean near St. Moritz haha. It for sure is always magical coming back on Tremola, I've been there on motorcycles and by car multiple times in very different types of weather; magic indeed! Thank you for the extended comment, appreciate it and always lovely to hear other's stories.
Oh Leonoor... I absolutely don't get it, that you're not having way more follower 🤷♂ I really love your relaxed and sometimes slighty ironic way of storytelling, but to me, your mindblowing photos are the best 🙇
I love all the nice video and Pictures. Thanks for the "hard work " driving upp and down the S:t Gotthard too lett us see the beauty of it! / Johan roslagen Sweden
Nice video,it brings back great memories of me riding there in the eighties and nighties ❤ In a few month's i retire and think i start riding again to those mountains.
What an amazing video. Those views were stunning and then the drone shots at the end... Absolutely breathtaking. Thank you so much for sharing this content to help my partner and I fill in our must ride locations. This is absolutely on the list now.
Here in Brazil we have the "Serra do Rio do Rastro", in the state of Santa Catarina. But this bit of the alps is just breathtaking! Thanks for sharing!
Another cool video, although this one was a bit chaotic to me ;) I was thinking that you could sell a guide through Alps, with your pictures and places to visit. For me who dreams of going there for the first time this would be invaluable.
Trust me, it was chaotic for me too haha, going up and down so many times. I'm actually working on something along those lines, my website will go live in a month or two!
Some things I just can't plan, but I always try to include some nice shots to end the vids with, happy I was lucky with the location and weather this night
Love the Old Gotthard Pass. We were there July 2022. I had my photo of it featured in the ABR calender for April last year. I was really pleased about that. Switzerland baby, yeah!!!
I love your videos Leonoor, I really do. You can capture and show beauty of these landscapes I would have no patience to wait to notice, if that makes any sense. And going back and forth setting up cameras and pretending to go away from the camera or right past it is the weirdest though to me :D That is why I appreciate your videos even more. Thank you for all the work you put into this.
As long as the outcome is something you enjoy watching, how I do it isn't important haha! I actually laugh so much of myself while setting up tripods, placing the cameras on sketchy bits etc, its a lot of work - YES - but also worth it!
Thank you Lnr' for the round trips, it's rare to see in one video as most only show one way in their videos. I too would be tempted to ride both routes too with priority given to the old one. Loved the 'lone rider' photos, ( you in the middle, not your luggage 😉🤣) Ride safe Elenoore
just sat down with a Cup of tea after hard days work to watch your amazing video its just so calming and tranquil just what i needed so cant wait to get out there
One of the best content creator and moto vlogger around. So inspiring and also mesmerizing. Always fun to see your clips. Would be so awesome if we randomly cross our paths.
Going there in 3 weeks from now. I cannot wait.....the passes are calling me. lost my hart in these enviroments......so calming......so nice. love ur video's 😍👌
I always use the Gotthard Pass when riding to Italy from UK for the annual MV Agusta meet in Cascina Costa and have now done it 4 times always stopping at Panorama San Gottardo for the beautiful views (and of course a coffee and Bratwurst). Did try the old pass once (by accident) but it was very wet which made the cobbles very slippery so came back to the new pass. On one occasion coming back home and having completed the pass to Goschenen I took a wrong turn and went back through the tunnel (was too committed and could not get off !) so had to ride the pass a second time which was not such a bad thing. I always have a quick stop at the lake Lago Della Piazza. Bike is an MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso.
Hi We met at the ABR Festival this year, you told me about your bike, I told you that I've watched your earlier videos but because of my circumstances, not for the about 12 months now. I've just watched this one and your very last one in the rain. There is some shit on television, but there's none on your channel, you make great films. So inspiring, brilliant. I also told you that I have a Desert X I love it too ! 😄😄😄
Tell me. Just to clarify my mind. Do you like the Gotthard Pass?? I've not been, but I hope to do so sooner rather than later! I do love the Alpine passes very much.
Yes. The old Gothard osss. My fav too. You ever see the stage coach going up/down? My Elise just floats over the cobbles and it’s one of the few surfaces that you can get the tail out. Thanks for so many great videos
Hi Leonoor Very nice video of our beautiful roads in the Swiss Alps. I'm lucky enough to live in this country and to be able to make regular motorbike trips in the Alps on the Italian side too. Enjoy your trip! It's a beautiful part of our wonderful planet. 🏍🤟

It sure is. I've been riding since june 2018 and have owned (and still do) two bikes. The Monster 821 and now the DesertX. 🤪
I admit that it looks beautiful through your eyes, but I have a certain kind of hate for cobblestone roads - kind of born and raised in a town that loved (and still does) its cobblestone streets - and I've ridden such on thin-rimmed bicycles, taken my drivers license for both car and motorcycle on them, and when they are wet (from snow, ice, rain or fallen autumn leaves) they are a scary experience at best and a full on disaster at its worst.
So very beautiful, your stuff is simply amazing, easy to see why you're addicted to the area. Quick question regarding your camera/pictures, do you shoot mostly using aparture priority or auto?
Hiya, am loving the videos by the way .. and Good Morning to you as well . Question please , how did you choose you ink, I'm looking for something across the arm and shoulder, but I'm not making good decisions at the moment ? would love some advise. SO...this next comment is actually Chat GPT, lets, see what you think .. I sort of know . "Ich liebe ernsthaft die Musik, die du in dieses Video einfügst. Ich spiele selbst Akustikgitarre und liebe die Klänge, die ich höre. Könntest du mir einige Namen nennen? Danke! 😀 Nevertheless, am still loving the whole thing , cheers....

Wow, thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Party ON, LNR🎉🎉🎇🎇🥳
Einfach nur schön und die Musik dazu …..göttlich , ich liebe das …..Danke ❤
Thank you!
Awesome vid ! Cobblestone roads… something we don’t have in Australia. No problem at it seems with that 21” front wheel on the Ducati. Lovely stuff.
I'm sure if you look for them, they're there no? This Ducati tackles about anything, but also on the Monster I've ridden here couple of times haha
Love it so much, the Tremola is so spectacular.❤
The best together with Oberaar in my opinion
