First time I got my nails done there was a woman who threw a straight up screaming crying tantrum in the middle of the salon because they didn't have the right shade of teal glitter that she wanted for her nails so she waited for SIX HOURS until they could run across town and get the glitter from their sister shop and do her nails. This woman was in her mid 40s. #doesthatbeatFaye?

I love Fay! She’s just very particular but you can tell she is joining in on the fun and having a go at herself. They act like sisters and it’s hilarious to watch them go back and forth!

I honestly love Fay. I am a nail technician, but always am thrilled when my clients give input. Her being sassy would just mean I get to be a little sassy back.

I have a nice comment for Faye. The beauty of girlfriends is that we can be ourselves with each other, accepting one another faults and all. So although Faye may be a pain about her nails, I have no doubt she is a good friend to Kirsty, the kind of friend that has your back where ever and when ever no questions asked. And those are the best friends to have. 💐

The US has Brownies too. They’re basically the precursor to Girl Scouts for younger girls, as far as I can remember.
As far as Fay, it’s good that she knows what she wants. I’ve had horrible nails done that I hated because I didn’t say anything to the nail tech, so at least she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to say something. Her and Kirsty are so funny together though 😆
I know Kirsty and Fay are friends but I do what to say for normal guests. The ONLY reason why clients act like that is because you (or other service providers) let her act like that. I have a few guests that were referred to me that were allowed to walk all over their last hairdresser and as soon as they start to act up I stop the service and a very firm conversation. I have zero fear having this conversation because I know my skill

I LOVE the way Fay feels comfortable enough to allow the joking and carrying on. It truly shows that Kirsty cares about her clients as individuals - unlike some Nail Techs that are given a quota they have to meet every day in order to keep their job. I have a lot of respect for Kirsty.
Okay, not to sound rude or anything. I do really enjoy these videos, even though I am not a nail tech, or have the desire to be, I just watch because it is quite relaxing.
BUT!!!! I want to see how on earth Fay does ANYTHING with those nails! Like, little challenges. How fast can she peel an orange, how does she do her makeup, how does she chop up fruits and veggies. Stuff like that.. I can't be the only one who wonders... And no, I have no desire in knowing how she wipes her bum, although that always seems to be all people care about :-P
Signe Christiansen you adjust honestly. When i take mine off, i do have an easier time with some things, but mostly i struggle to do things without them and i still do some things as if i had nails on. Suddenly my fingers are over an inch shorter, it takes days to adjust lol

It's actually not too hard. The first time u get long nails there's an adjustment period but after that u adjust and then it feels weird without them lol
.. Ive had my nails about as long Fay. And like others say you get used to it. I could clasp a necklace, pick up change, write with a pen lol you adjust. I used the side of my finger. When I took them off for a lil break I literally dropped everything. I was all fumbly lol

2 things....... First I have client that is exactly like Fay, and I love it! I would much rather have someone telling me exactly what they do and don't want and walk away absolutely in love with the end result than have the client that won't tell me anything and walks away hating them.
And 2 I am Fay which is why I do my own nails..... I have yet to find anyone that can do them to my standards.
I am not one of those clients. I'm one of those do whatever you want clients. Which I'm sure nail techs hate just as much.

Love her dry sense of humor, which may be confusing some of our American friends. Faye is great & it was also great to see how you infill such detailed nails.
Not that it's really confusing because we have a similar type of humor in the US where people act like that with one another, but her especially hiding the shops glitter just rubbed some people the wrong way, even people living UK from what I read in the comments.
I know this is old but a lot of Americans speak this way to each other using this satire. So I think it was lost among people in general, not just Americans 😉

In the US Brownies are called Brownies and they are a segment of Girl Scouts of the USA. We don't have Girl Guides in the US.

OMG! I've seen the Worst Client Videos and just WOW! Used to be a tech in the States and it's people like Faye that made me stop and only do my own nails now. I know you love her really but OMG! PS ... I agree with the comment of a bigger pincher for her mouth. Just sayin .......

I think the worst thing about her is her box and how she apparently hates when other people have the same colours as her. That's just an entirely ridiculous thing to be concerned and so defensive and upset about.
I don't mind her being opinionated and picky some people just are, but that box...the entitlement, is crazy.
can i just say i am so happy you have subtitles! As a non-native English speaker, it can be difficult sometimes to understand what some native English speakers are talking about, accents and all that. but with subtitles I'm able to understand what you are saying! and it also teaches me more English so thats another plus! Love from a fan in Norway :)

The British Accent for English can be a bit difficult. But there's so many accents with many countries with English speakers... I'm from U.S. and native English speaker and sometimes I have to put on subtitles lol
Mate I'm from England and have to have the subtitles on to get what she's saying sometimes you're doing great, I'm sure it'd be the same if I made videos though being from Yorkshire, my boyfriends dad and I struggle to understand each other he's from Llanelli and I'm from Castleford so there's a big difference, sometimes I think it'd be good to have real life subtitles

Very funny!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 I do have client S (plural) like that 😂😂😂 some ask me after the bling is glued on to change it to like 1mm to the left..... 😒 I've had one ask me to erase a dot I made in paint with the dotting tool and put it just next to where it was. One client changed the whole design 3 times AFTER I was done because she wasn't sure.... (I was starting out and it was her prom night). I had one ask me to give her the files EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT so she could file her nails HER way. And I could go on and on and on. Love working with the public......... O.o

Fay is a treasure and I love her. LOL (Bless you for putting up with it though, what a friend!) She makes me want to be more vocal when I get my own nails done. I don't do them often but when I do I'm so timid I can barely speak up. That's how I ended up coming home with a bleeding cuticle and nails 2 inches beyond what I wanted once. The woes of being painfully shy. 😂
And we totally have Brownies here in the states! ..At least we did in the 80/90s when my mom was a troupe leader! I loved being a girl scout but our area was very poor so our troupe disbanded and I never got to rank up. 🙇💔

Arlie Brownies was the term for the young scouts in the states. At least it was in the 80s/ early 90s when my mom was a troupe leader. We used to wear brown colored pinafores so I always assumed that's why we were called Brownies. I think I was in about 1st grade age range when I was in Brownies. The girls younger than us were Daisies and older than us were just Girl Scouts.
First off, I need to tell you, you teach how to do acrylics so well. I’ve learnt so much from you. I’m a veteran in doing nails however I’m self taught. I love watching you and your worst client ever FAY. It’s great. Keep them coming.

I’m a cashier in McDonalds from Montreal and I have picky clients like this too. They just need a little extra TLC.... However if I have a client that is rude , disrespectful and aggressive I won’t serve them. They can go somewhere else. We should all be more kind to each other !

If she wants the colors as only hers can't she go to the website and buy them for herself. I wouldn't want someone like her around me.
Kelly Kelley she doesn’t want anyone else to have nails like hers. She doesn’t want anyone else to have those colours and glitters on their nails, so even her buying those colours as her own wouldn’t help haha!
