Hatter'sVixenASMR same in mine (frituur, so not really a restaurant) some customers are better to stay away. We have plenty of ‘difficult’ orders, and even though we might get annoyed the first time someone does that, when they come back for the same thing next week it’s oddly satisfying. it’s like yeah! nailed it! difficult customers are not the problem, it’s people not willing to pay for product or service. Especially when they come in with the intention not to pay, that’s just criminal...
Vera Van Den Hende Exactly! Its horrible... Recently two tables walked out and their food just came out. We told them take it to go but they didnt want it. Even though they waited 40 minutes for it.. Now their going to have to wait even longer somewhere else. Idiots..
My nail tech and I have a very similar relationship. I have OCD and drive her crazy with all my little nit-picks but I've been going to her for over 10 years and would never trust anyone else with my nails. She says I'm her favorite and least favorite client all at the same time.
@Mya Mya I have a client with ocd and even though sometimes is frustrating I would NEVER fire her as a client but looking at your uneducated and awful behaviour I would tell you to fuck off of my salon! I love my client with OCD and I am very patient with her because before being frustrating for me is very hard for her to resist. So learn to be respectful toward those who are "less lucky" than you, because there could be you in her or his place and in that case trust me you would feel awful. It is easy to judge and talk talk when you are ok.
For having nails constantly for 10 years, her natural nail looks amazing!!! you have truly done an amazing job without sacrificing the integrity of her nails!!! amazing!!!
My mother is the worst! Why is it sticky? Why is it lumpy? Why does it look like that? Why is the color so light? I'm like... I'm not done! I have a rule that clients aren't allowed to look before I'm done. She's the reason.
This is how you get upset and unhappy clients, by saying they're not allowed to look. You're gonna get clients like that, either deal with it or stop doing clients that do this.
I had a client who came to me every 6 weeks for TWO YEARS, but NEVER liked how I did her hair and didn't enjoy having her hair done!!!! But she kept coming back!!! She was rude, insulting and upset me almost every time. After putting up with her for two years, I told her to go find a salon where she does actually like how they do her hair, and where she enjoys going. I'd completely had enough of trying to please her. It was the best day of my life when I got rid of her!!
She is so right about the nail salon. They dont give a crap about your nails. They want you in and out as fast as possible! Its so frustrating... I wish i could find a nail tech like her. She take her time with everything. I love have ny nails done but not the after effect
Never been to a nail salon that does that but my mom has. She went on vacation to Las Vegas with her coworkers of 20 plus years and she didn't like the experience. She said the nail tech didn't even prep their nails...they just went straight to doing their nails. My mom was disappointed. She complained about her nails peeling off. She was happy and relieved to go back to our nail tech. Yes, see get our nails done togther.
My worst client is my mum. Continuously tries to take the nail file out of my hands, repeatedly asks “why are you doing that? Shouldn’t you be doing..... ect ect” (she had never had her nails done until I became qualified) always makes what is meant to be a fun time, into something I regret offering. So I try to space out her appointments to save my sanity! Haha 😂
That's the most relatable thing I've ever read.. been doing nails for 21 years this year and been coping with 21 years of torture from my mother over it.. I love doing them for her but she has this way of making me feel like a nervous novice..lol
S. A. M. E. i just got off work and had my mom as my last client. lmao that way when it takes forever i don't get pissed and i can run out side right after to chain smoke 😒😂
Bethy Krantz I've heard of it in other industries called a Bi#$ tax etc.. it's definitely not written on a receipt or estimate. . Just added into cost.. hey if they are going to be overly picky you need to be paid for it... it's your time they are paying for.. and in ths care products too.. Bi#$ time is your time you could be helping or earning from others. . Only fair... or if they were a never going to be pleased you always be "way too booked" etc...
I had a client that was 30 minutes late and insisted on eating a buttery piece of toast while I did her nails and had to get up to talk to the other client beside us whom she did not know. Crazy crazy crazy people. Then I have people that I literally grab their hand to start and they say “oh well there is something on that one right there” I’m like 🙄 I haven’t even started yet shut the hell up. Some people are like “so did you have to like go to actual school for this?” And I’m thinking ‘no they found me on a street corner and hired me so I could stop hooking’
Molly Thorpe omg, that last bit killed me xD Honestly I don't understand the nerve of some people! Like try doing the nails yourself and then question the validity of the schooling requirements for the job!
Many highend places do, and many other places do as well, but you have to ask for them. Schools and school-run places tend to not have them as the risk of messing up is higher and most of their staff are new. Most of the places at Wal-Mart and the mall tend to be linked to a school so they are less likely to have them. At least that is what I've gathered.
They USED TO!! It’s taken me 15 years (& I pay twice as much!) to find a nail tech who actually does nothing but sculpture nails. The trend changed and they want to get you in and out as fast as possible. Sculpture nails are a practiced skill that most don’t bother to learn anymore. I love videos of women who actually learn and perfect their trade! Glad I found this today! #subscribing 👍🏼
I am going to become a nail tech, next year (new career), and I am looking forward to pampering clients like you do. Faye may be a pain, but I can tell you have a great relationship - you'd miss her if she left... admit it.
Theres one client i dread booking in! How can Gel Polish be so stressful??? She spends half an hour picking a colour then NEVER likes it once its on, never happy with the finish as they’re too plain but doesn’t like sparkly glitters or Swarovskis. BUT!!! My prayers have been answered..... Her children bought her a Gel nail kit for Christmas!! Thank god for £14.99 ebay gel kits 😍😂
LongHairPrettyNails omg I have lots of fussy clients they always come back. But omg I want to slap them at times. I hit one with the emery board once😂😂😂😎....
hun, do not be put off, at your own pace, you will always get a client from hell, they wont stay as they do the circuit of techs, you will get clients that will love everything you do or suggest and will be faithfully, even if we have an off day, and we all have an off day !! you go girl
Omg same! I just had a 30 min conversation on the phone with my mom about "why don't you go get official and work at a salon". Well, mom. I'll be happy to tell you why not lol. And this is the 1st time IN MY LIFE, I've not had a job that deals with customers. Whatsoever. Not in person. Not on the phone. Not occasionally. Not at all. I don't think I've ever been so at peace 😂😂😂
I have been known to be "that" client...but I'm an ex nail tech & I only become "that" client when they're trying to rip my old set off instead of soaking them off or something dodgy or dangerous like that. When I had finally found the best out of a bad bunch of nail salons in my area I still had to cop the rolling eyes if I'd dare to ask for 2 coats of primer because I know that I have my hands in water a lot & my hands get a beating at work! I don't think that's too difficult. I was taught to ask clients such things & really, it's easier to just put 2 coats of primer on anyway- better to be safe than sorry!
I don't do nails and I don't get my nails done either... but I love watching your videos! You have an amazing personality, you're funny and so likable, not to mention how beautiful you are (both inside and out) Thanks for sharing what you do! 💜
My mother was like this. Se told me to do whatever I had in mind and then would constently nitpick. "Is it supposed to be messy? Isn't it too thin?" "Yes and yes Mom. I need a thin clear base to put the glitter on. It will be thicker after I've put the glitter and clear acrylic on." "It's not shiny anymore that clear stuff isn't clear! Don't do anymore!" "It goes clear after I file it and if I don't put the clear on the glitter when I file it will take off the glitter!" "I still don't like it..." She was the hardest client I've ever had. R.I.P Mom love you.
Psychokitty121 I bet you miss it now though huh! It's funny because the little things my dad used to do the drove me nuts and miss so much now. He's been gone for almost 15 years. April 10th 2003 I lost my daddy to cancer
Ohhh dont let me started! Theres this one woman... oooh Ill make it a short wersion! She came to me from a long relationship with other tech! She loved her bla bla so when she came to me she came wit hrequests like - you must turn the finger upside down, u must file like this, u must do this and that and jabadaba ..... oo hshe teaches me and corrects me when she doesnt klike something..,. so her visit becomes a work of a whole day! My nervs tingle! It ended when she came and asked for nail file so she could just go over the nails cus she feels that the nails will be done better. It was at the stage when I was ready to put on gel and design.... SO I gave her and went to make some coffee cus I was just so furious and couldnt with her anymore that I just needed air.. Came back nails where too short, overly overfiled and she made me put thin layer of gel on! No wonder next day all nails where broken and nothing held on, cus there is no structure etc! It was first and last time I let someone tell me what to do, after she apologysed and came for Acrylic Dip system but thankfully she moved somewhere in europe wery far away from me :D
BTW, i've gotten my entire salon fam (even some clients!!) to start watching your channel..when there's nothing to do we basically just sit around a phone and let you teach us haha we love you!!
Oh fussy clients send me up a wall. I'm a hairdresser so I have had my fair share, 2 things about them though are 1) they tend to be the most loyal if they like what you have done and 2) they challenge you to do your best or better than your best. But oh lawd still so frustrating
Yea in the states we charge extra for a shape other than square, any accent nails, any designs, any glitter. This is how my friend and best client is when I do her eyebrows. “Just clean em up” ok that’s do-able. “Make them perfectly even..like...perfectly.” I can try. “You are getting the arches right? Like I want my arch.” No really I was gonna shave the top off.
When I was in school, this client came in for a pedicure and was critiquing everything I was doing. She went so far as to bring her foot, TO HER FACE, to make sure I got all of the cuticle off, and did the same during polish, smudging the polish, making me redo all the polish, because SHE smudged one... 😳
i have ONE client that the ENTIRE salon has passed off to each other for almost a year...& i'm the newbie in the salon so i'll give you just one guess as to who has her "pleasant" company now...😫 haha "no no, i like them as short as possible..NOT THAT SHORT. shouldn't you use the clippers instead of the file..?" MIND YOU, when she has no free edge left..WHAT AM I GONNA CUT, LOVE NUGGET ?!! 😤😤
I love this. I love that you have fun with even your nitpicky clients. I am this client which is why I do my own nails now lol. Wish I was near you. I've also never seen anyone bend the nail how you do. It's so pretty, I'm gonna try it.
I used to have a client that every time we were before the finish file she would flip at how thick and ugly the nail was....EVERY time I’d say we aren’t done yet just wait! Every time she was so happy she got me to FIX them........ugh
I LOVED the NAIL as much as your light-hearted fun. I feel your pain. I have a client who wants to file her own nails because it tickles her for others to do it... IDK, but I go with it and touch up after! Congrats on your Million Subscribers, you ARE “NAIO”, and you ARE AWESOME!!! 😍
Lori Gleason, omg, me too! She has become one of my best friends but she drives me insane. I can never get the shape right. So finally I was like, do it your damn self, lol. We laugh because I'm like, I wonder what clients walking by think. I've been doing nails for 20 years and she makes me a wreck.
I had a girl that brought her own files. I could open a new ones (files, buffers etc.) she never trust me that I can keep my working place hygienic :) well it saved me some files :D
You have a delightful way of getting your point across. Fun and affectionate. On a more serious note, people who think they know more than the experts make me 😡. They totally dismiss all your hard work and expertise.
They were only being silly for the camera, they are good friends in reality! But we understand in real life some people really act like this, and we understand why this could be frustrating when you're trying to work 😭😭
This was great! My fussy client never knows what look she wants yet none of my ideas never seem to be what she wants. Then I go back to the first idea and she says “YES! That’s perfect” EVERY.. SINGLE... TIME... 😑
Those PITA clients become the best friends though and both end up taking the attitude from each other with a grain of salt. If you don't hear from them between appointments you get worried and call them wondering if they are okay or still alive.

I am that client, but I don't think the salons I have been to have people as talented or as experienced as someone like Kirsty, or Suzie from Nail Career Education. Maybe I feel entitled, but I actually don't go to the salon anymore because I know I'll never get the results I see on these channels. So, I've started doing my own nails.
I had to stop going to salons. Every single one of them cut into my skin and made me bleed a lot. Then insisted on putting the product over the wound. I would leave in EXTREME pain. They didn't care about my comfort, only the money. That's the reason why I am learning to do my own. I had to. I hope nail techs understand about this situation. I am diabetic and we cannot heal wounds completely. If this sweet lady was where I live, I would be getting my nails done from her. There was one salon where the technician ripped half of my natural nail right off the nail bed and proceeded to try covering the bleeding wound with acrylic. ALL technicians need to learn from this lady, and be required to take yearly classes from her if it was only possible😌
Michelle Evans i understand where you’re coming from but also have you noticed she’s talking bad about her clients on a social media app? She’s might lose her clients because to be honest it’s kinda rude of her also in her part. I love her work and I would love to learn from her but EVERY technicians?and required? Lmfao
Golden Carter me too Lol I have a girl that does them really nice but I just like small almond. With pretty colours. I hate the stiletto in me. I think it’s nice but I prefer classy rather than brassy. But I do admire these artists. I’m going to start doing my own. Wish me luck 👍🏽😂😂
@@michelleevans5531 that MUST have been painful. what they don't understand is diabetics don't heal quickly, and those nail techs could have caused you to get some severe infections. My mom and my husband are diabetics, and my mom has had to have several sugeries from wounds that got infected and has had MRSA quite a few times. Deciding to do your own was a good decision. Kirsty is good at explaining what she's doing, giving tutorials as well, I also Really like Suzy of NailCarreerEducation's channels as well, she's good at tutorials as well.
Even though I'm an artist, I can actually agree with everything you're saying. Whenever someone wants me to draw something they're just staring at me, making sure it's perfect. And if I'm sketching out the base they're like "you're not going to give it to me like that right?". And whenever I start getting distracted (Since y'know that happens sometimes because I've always got my head in the clouds), they say "oH wHy ArE yOu GeTtInG dIsTrAcTeD?!?! It'S gOnNa LoOk BaD!!1!1!!1!". One time someone was watching me draw and said "The neck is too long" "the arms are too short" "you made the eyes wrong" "the hair is weird" "what's with their legs? Why are they so long?" "If this doesn't look good I'm not paying for it" so when I was done with the nit picking I ripped the paper and said "if you're so good at fucking drawing make your own" and then she got all pissy and told the counselor I punched her in the face????? The counselor believed her tho smh.
Thank you for this video, i was so excited about starting off, i forgot to prepare myself for the worse clientele (no exaggeration) thank you thank you thank you. The hard part thereafter is remaining calm and professional
Such an awesome nail design but what brand of sausages was that you put them on? ...Seriously though not really... you said to roast and now my GF has told me off for being mean.
so im not exactly professionally trained and ive only learnt from youtube vids but i printed out a catalog of comparatively simple nail designs to do for school kids at my school's fundraiser for cancer patients. the children have absolutely tiny nails and obviously im not doing extensions for them so i have to draw designs on these tiny nails. the seniors have really good nails and it was fun doing it for them but this one parent comes up to me with their second grade daughter and the little girl picks the hardest design on the catalog that i had printed for the seniors. i tell her mother that her nail is just too small for that. i could barely draw one flower with a dotting tool on her nail. i calmly explained to the little girl that her nails are just too small but her mom interupts when the little girl almost said okay and was going to choose another design and insisting that i only did the first pic. oh my god that was a horrible. finally did little heart shapes on her nail. the mom still wasnt happy with it. but man i got a bad neck and head ache with those tiny fingers. but srsly, i really do have to thank you kirsty, and the original naio videos because you were one of the first people who i found on youtube as i got interested in nail art. you guys are the best. congrats on that million!!
I think every tech in a salon or not, needs a "Faye" of their own, it helps keep them in their toes. Makes you always wanna out do what you've previously done. And you are so on it, your crazy talented. You go girl! Love it as usual, tfs hun
I have clients that say "do what you want" but tell me each and every detail that they want so it's not what ever I want lol.... and I have clients that say "do something very simple and quick I don't have time today" and then asks for ombre, glitters and 2 to 4 colors and etc etc etc .... yes very simple 😂😂😂
Elaine Manucure I'm not a nail tech, I work in food service, but jfc I HATE the phrase "just do what you want" No, because if you hate it you'll come to my manager, blame me and I'll get into trouble JUST PICK ONE YOU PIECE OF- (customer service smile) please
Elaine Manucure the people who say “do what you want” are always the pickiest people. I work in a bar but people who tell me they dunno what they want and demand I pick their drink ALWAYS say “no” to every suggestion I make. Like why even bother saying do what you want if you’re so picky that you say “no” to like 16 different suggestions. Ughhh 😑🙄
Sounds like my 3yr old when picking a story at bed-time. “You pick, mummy!” 10 mins later, when i’ve named all the books he has, i ask him: “well which book do you want, then?” “I don’t know, mummy.... you pick!” 🤔If only we could love our clients like we love our children!
I’m in the photography business and I hate it when clients try and tell me I’m setting up my equipment wrong when the only thing they know about photography is how to take photos on their phones 😩
Daisy Morey oof that’s annoying like I’m really passionate about acting and I’ve been into it since I was like 8 years old now I’m 17 and then I have people get into it and act like they have been into it there whole lives and it’s “their thing” 😑
Your very funny Kirsty...super talented and pretty...received my first order last week I love the Gel polishes and glitter....need about a hundred more😄...I'm starting up again after 15 years! I watch you every night and it's helped me so much...I start renting a chair in a salon in 2 weeks....so scared aaaargh🙈😅...I hope my first client isn't as fussy as your pal😉😘
This was a really fun video to watch. You are so talented Kristy. I’ve been watching you for years and when I saw the amount of glitter she wanted it made me nervous! Lol. But you did it and it turned out gorgeous. Love your spunky personality. You are beautiful honey! ❤️
Your the definition of a good you tuber, you are so interesting to watch and listen to. Even if you don’t really know any thing about nails, it is still so interesting to watch!!!!
I understand if she's paying she wants what she wants because we as people we want what we pay for but she has been with you for 10 years there should be some type of trust. She would not know things if it was not for you. That is why she stayed for that long. A professional does not need to be told how to do their job especially if they come in NOT knowing anything and sticking with you and picking up along they way. If you have been loyal for that long, with someone that skilled, tell her what you would like to PAY for and let her do her magic because she is frickin awesome!!! Or go to the 25 pound people and order them around.
Kirsty, you are beyond talented! Very few Nail Techs here in the States have your talent or ability. Everything you create is artfully designed and beautifully crafted.
I have no interest in the nail world and don’t know what I’m doing here at 3am. however your personality and way you talk makes me want to listen to you for so long!! Love it
Beautiful! The tension! The drama! The love! Bwahahaha Fay, you’re an excellent human. Someone’s got to keep Kirsty on her toes! This reminds me so much of my sister & I. We’re both nail techs. She’s creative, I’m a perfectionist. You can imagine… 😅
Girl I have the American version Fae as one of my clients. As soon as I lose one of these people someone will fill the void . Lol. Guess it’s the Universes just keeping us on our toes . Omg yes she tells me every visit I need to make her nails more spectacular than the last set . Because everyone Looks and expects to see her nails every two weeks . Love This video thanks !
I've had a few of those types of clients with hair. 'Are you sure you're leaving the color on long enough?' 'you don't start there, you start here', Oh you cant foil my highlights, it wont get light enough. Oh you cant blow dry my hair like that. OMG my color just fell out in the shower. Yup I've heard a lot. Not with my nail clients yet. I've had a client threaten to kick me in the face when I was doing a pedi, I told her if she kicked me I'd punch her and not finish her pedi. She sat still LOL.
Lol great video Faye may be a bit of a diva about her nails but she's got good taste cuz that looks fab I wish I had a nail tech as talented as you close to me! I'd become a bit of a nail diva myself lol 😁
The nails are gorgeous... I am more transfixed by the sober in your hair picking up the light... it gives you a mystical or angelic appearance... so incredible!! I wish I knew IF it was possible to get those metallic silver effects in my aging Red hair...??
I just watched you make a Leopard on a nail. GIRL!!! You are a remarkably talented sculptures. If I had one of those, I'd have a strong acrylic guard to encase and protect it, and if it did break off, i would cry forever. But, i would also keep it and have it made into a cameo pendant. I mean that was spectacular. Well done.
OMGINI lol, ROFL!!!! I have clients like that what I hate is when their bending their finger upward 2 see what I'm doing o matter how many times I say relax please because while their bending the finger upward I'm pulling downward cause my corporal tunnel and arthritis 2 HURT but of course they think its funny while I'm CONSTANTLY reminding them that its me that hasta see what I'm doing at this point n they can see wen I'm dun with the work lol. or like u said they wanna tell me what the next step is wen also like you've said I've been doin nails since they were either in diapers or just a thought in their daddy's JUAVOS CTFU
My nail person be different every time. So yaas I must check their work. But if I had been coming to u for years & loved the work then I wouldn't worry lol
You are not given enough views! You should be at 20 million by now! I just started doing nails and whenever I need don’t know how to do something a client wants I always watch your videos! Not just for learning reasons but it’s so therapeutic and you calm my anxiety! Please never stop doing videos kirsty! ❤️
Client “do what you want”
Also client “I don’t like that colour”
Lol 🤦🏻♀️
Congratulations on 1’mil!!!

She is so right about the nail salon. They dont give a crap about your nails. They want you in and out as fast as possible! Its so frustrating... I wish i could find a nail tech like her. She take her time with everything. I love have ny nails done but not the after effect
Andriana Dunn Where can you find nail techs like her?
Never been to a nail salon that does that but my mom has. She went on vacation to Las Vegas with her coworkers of 20 plus years and she didn't like the experience. She said the nail tech didn't even prep their nails...they just went straight to doing their nails. My mom was disappointed. She complained about her nails peeling off. She was happy and relieved to go back to our nail tech. Yes, see get our nails done togther.
And some people don’t want to pay for such great work. I’m sure you get your money’s worth with this lass here!!
Darklustmoonchild i don't know i wish i did!
Renee Bingham exactly, but not me im willing to pay whatever it cost to have my nails taken care of.
Haha 😂
Elizabeth you should find a friend who also does her Mom's nails and switch mom's and see how the moms act.. might be enlightening!!!
That's the most relatable thing I've ever read.. been doing nails for 21 years this year and been coping with 21 years of torture from my mother over it.. I love doing them for her but she has this way of making me feel like a nervous novice..lol
Sooooooo trueee and her „dying of pain” 😂while im drill filing. I can’t stand ittttt
S. A. M. E. i just got off work and had my mom as my last client. lmao that way when it takes forever i don't get pissed and i can run out side right after to chain smoke 😒😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
@15:15 "...12 times."
- *pause* -
"How many fingers have you got?"
- *Stares directly into camera.* - "OOOOOkeeee. Like I said she's from Cheddleton."
Cristine from simplynaillogical would love those shelves in the background
My first thought!🤗

In The States, it's common to add a "PITA" tax for clients like this... PITA = Pain In The Arse :-)... You didn't learn that from me!
Never heard of that or seen that on my purchases... Maybe I'm not the pain in the ass that people say I am. HA! TAKE THAT, MOM!
I'm a tech in Arizona and never heard of this loll
Bethy Krantz I've heard of it in other industries called a Bi#$ tax etc.. it's definitely not written on a receipt or estimate. . Just added into cost.. hey if they are going to be overly picky you need to be paid for it... it's your time they are paying for.. and in ths care products too.. Bi#$ time is your time you could be helping or earning from others. . Only fair... or if they were a never going to be pleased you always be "way too booked" etc...
Bethy Krantz 😂
Bethy Krantz yes you are right I have been taxed and have taxed people 😂 it really is s thing
All the glitter is opend, and all i was thinking .... dont sneese🌬
Haha me to
I had a client that was 30 minutes late and insisted on eating a buttery piece of toast while I did her nails and had to get up to talk to the other client beside us whom she did not know.
Molly Thorpe omg, that last bit killed me xD
Honestly I don't understand the nerve of some people! Like try doing the nails yourself and then question the validity of the schooling requirements for the job!
Annnd ur my soulmate. I spit out my coke laughing. ...So I could stop hooking. I'm so gonna use that!
Molly Thorpe lmaoooooooo...I bout spit my drink! You sound exactly like me!!!! Lmaoooooo
Molly Thorpe 😂
Haha omg 💀
I wished more places in the us used forms instead of crappy tips
Come to Russia or Ukraine
Many highend places do, and many other places do as well, but you have to ask for them.
Schools and school-run places tend to not have them as the risk of messing up is higher and most of their staff are new.
Most of the places at Wal-Mart and the mall tend to be linked to a school so they are less likely to have them.
At least that is what I've gathered.
When I helped with nails I didnt care about tips cause they were already paying 60 dollars for ombre nails
In my country is kinda common, I think 🤔
I am going to become a nail tech, next year (new career), and I am looking forward to pampering clients like you do. Faye may be a pain, but I can tell you have a great relationship - you'd miss her if she left... admit it.
Of course she would! They are good friends, they only put this up for a bit of banter :)
Wendybabendy best friends are who talks to your face not behind back
Wendy! How’s it going?
Theres one client i dread booking in! How can Gel Polish be so stressful??? She spends half an hour picking a colour then NEVER likes it once its on, never happy with the finish as they’re too plain but doesn’t like sparkly glitters or Swarovskis.
BUT!!! My prayers have been answered.....
Her children bought her a Gel nail kit for Christmas!! Thank god for £14.99 ebay gel kits 😍😂
Lol
Get her children a MEDAL
Just tell her you have no open appointments so that she doesn’t come in
Lol! This is why I am not ready to do clients. I don't think I can deal lol 😂
Congrats on 1 Million Subscribers! Well deserved.
LongHairPrettyNails. me too...... im scared as hell !!! especially latinas are the worst
Unicorn Kitteh “Well mom.. i would be happy to tell u why not...” 3 hours later. Lol
Wow.. even at the chintziest nail joint I've never had someone rip off my old set. Even the nail place that turns and burns still soaks.
She is the Gordon Ramsey of nails!!!!!!! Absolutely love this channel and her so much!!!! I wish i had a nail tech as great as her!!
Isn't it too thin?"
"Yes and yes Mom. I need a thin clear base to put the glitter on. It will be thicker after I've put the glitter and clear acrylic on."
"It's not shiny anymore that clear stuff isn't clear! Don't do anymore!"
"It goes clear after I file it and if I don't put the clear on the glitter when I file it will take off the glitter!"
"I still don't like it..."
She was the hardest client I've ever had.
R.I.P Mom love you.
Psychokitty121 I bet you miss it now though huh! It's funny because the little things my dad used to do the drove me nuts and miss so much now. He's been gone for almost 15 years. April 10th 2003 I lost my daddy to cancer
Meghan Pappas Yeah I do miss her a lot.
I am so sorry for both of you i am so happy that i have not lost my mom and dad yet
Meghan Pappas just be happy your dad is still with you
Ohhh dont let me started!
*20* minutes on *1* nail
_imagine how long for a whole set_
200 minutes. Lol.
You are remarkable and Faye, you better be the best tipper in all of the UK!
T.J. She didn’t like that comment so you know she isn’t!!!
I have never ever understood how anyone can manage with nails that long and pointed, I'd be forever breaking them and scratching myself lol.
BTW, i've gotten my entire salon fam (even some clients!!) to start watching your channel..when there's nothing to do we basically just sit around a phone and let you teach us haha we love you!!
Natalya Presley I love this comment 😅😄
Oh fussy clients send me up a wall. I'm a hairdresser so I have had my fair share, 2 things about them though are 1) they tend to be the most loyal if they like what you have done and 2) they challenge you to do your best or better than your best. But oh lawd still so frustrating
Yea in the states we charge extra for a shape other than square, any accent nails, any designs, any glitter. This is how my friend and best client is when I do her eyebrows. “Just clean em up” ok that’s do-able. “Make them perfectly even..like...perfectly.” I can try. “You are getting the arches right? Like I want my arch.” No really I was gonna shave the top off.
haha
"now I don't agree with bullying... however on this occasion"
LMFAO
ughh want you to do my nails so bad
‘You know that fake tan colour?’ 😂😂🤣🤣
When I was in school, this client came in for a pedicure and was critiquing everything I was doing. She went so far as to bring her foot, TO HER FACE, to make sure I got all of the cuticle off, and did the same during polish, smudging the polish, making me redo all the polish, because SHE smudged one... 😳
Caroline G 🤣
i have ONE client that the ENTIRE salon has passed off to each other for almost a year...& i'm the newbie in the salon so i'll give you just one guess as to who has her "pleasant" company now...😫 haha "no no, i like them as short as possible..NOT THAT SHORT. shouldn't you use the clippers instead of the file..?" MIND YOU, when she has no free edge left..WHAT AM I GONNA CUT, LOVE NUGGET ?!! 😤😤
Her fingers, obviously. Just takes ONE SNIP and she'll learn her lesson 🙄
Hahaha
Mary Udomah omg meeee!
I wish I had half of what you had to do nails. so jealous! I absolutely love watching you.
I love her sense of humor. Beautiful is in the person, and she's adorable!💞
I love this. I love that you have fun with even your nitpicky clients. I am this client which is why I do my own nails now lol. Wish I was near you. I've also never seen anyone bend the nail how you do. It's so pretty, I'm gonna try it.
Those are the clients that make you hide brown liquor in your coffee cup.
I used to have a client that every time we were before the finish file she would flip at how thick and ugly the nail was....EVERY time I’d say we aren’t done yet just wait! Every time she was so happy she got me to FIX them........ugh
I would literally refuse to do her nails if she did that to me TWICE. I'd walk her out. #NoStress is my motto.
This is my mum in one sentence 😒😒😒 God give me the patience
Oh yikes I feel for you !
Peach Manifesto Jessie I have that 1 ohhhhh myyyyyy gooooooodddddd and she books every 2 weeks 😱 😱 😱 and every 2 weeks I have to deal with that!
@@ChemHector23 She could take that money she paid your salon elsewhere, or save that cash and do her own nails. Clients watch these videos also.
But we understand in real life some people really act like this, and we understand why this could be frustrating when you're trying to work 😭😭
I wish we had nail artists like you over here in Franklin, PA USA, you are just the best! ☺️
I'm that person, that's why I've learn to do my own nails lol
Yass!
michelle ragland 🙋🏻♀️😂
Same here 😂❤️
Yup... I am that person. AND Kristy, you helped me become that person!
The same 😂
I’m not really interested in nails (gardening) watch by accident loved it and subscribed thanks
Welcome to the party, new videos Monday to Friday, and as many funny ones as we can manage.
jay jen same. Dude here.
I'm staying for the banter 😁
Lol, the nail salon I go to is called garden nails
This was great! My fussy client never knows what look she wants yet none of my ideas never seem to be what she wants. Then I go back to the first idea and she says “YES! That’s perfect” EVERY.. SINGLE... TIME... 😑
"I thought you weren't doing an intro" looool I love how you kept that in
When She Was Opening And Saying The Glitter Names So Many Of Them Literally Look The Same . She's Too Much😂✌
Those PITA clients become the best friends though and both end up taking the attitude from each other with a grain of salt. If you don't hear from them between appointments you get worried and call them wondering if they are okay or still alive.

Kristy you are a saint!! 👼🏼😂 This was hilarious and you have such a good relationship with your clients😁 Congratulations on 1,000,000!!! 🍾🥂
Keilymar Vazquez I think it's a joke. If you notice the client is laughing.
RIPBlueInk lol 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 the orange kind! Maybe cheese sausage??
Lmao 😂😂 maybe Richmond
this comment is quality
RIPBlueInk this is literally me and my boyfriend he gets so upset if I joke and it’s a mean joke
OMG BRING HER BACK PLEASE!!!! This was an AMAZING way to start my morning!!! LOL!!
I’m in love with this video! It’s a breath of fresh air to see something different but still funny. Thank you!
Im a client and I thought I was bad. Lol !!!! I don’t have an awesome nail tech like Faye does thou. Lol love ❤️ ya Kirsty.
I've never seen nails so beautiful in my life, both Fays and yours are gorgeous what an absolute talent you have xxx
OMG..this was so funny...Fay is such a good sport...I love how Adam knows what the clients have as well =p....loved this vid♥
Omg you got me with your frantic click-clacking of you turning all of the glitter bottles over, I LOST it oml
😂😂😂😂😂
so im not exactly professionally trained and ive only learnt from youtube vids but i printed out a catalog of comparatively simple nail designs to do for school kids at my school's fundraiser for cancer patients. the children have absolutely tiny nails and obviously im not doing extensions for them so i have to draw designs on these tiny nails. the seniors have really good nails and it was fun doing it for them but this one parent comes up to me with their second grade daughter and the little girl picks the hardest design on the catalog that i had printed for the seniors. i tell her mother that her nail is just too small for that. i could barely draw one flower with a dotting tool on her nail. i calmly explained to the little girl that her nails are just too small but her mom interupts when the little girl almost said okay and was going to choose another design and insisting that i only did the first pic. oh my god that was a horrible. finally did little heart shapes on her nail. the mom still wasnt happy with it. but man i got a bad neck and head ache with those tiny fingers. but srsly, i really do have to thank you kirsty, and the original naio videos because you were one of the first people who i found on youtube as i got interested in nail art. you guys are the best. congrats on that million!!
I
Faye’s definitely a Virgo ♍️😂😂😂
Right! 😂 I’m
a Virgo and I didn’t think she was that bad😂😂
“You pick, mummy!” 10 mins later, when i’ve named all the books he has, i ask him: “well which book do you want, then?” “I don’t know, mummy.... you pick!”
🤔If only we could love our clients like we love our children!
I love the nail and I love how funny and humorous you all are!! I would love to have my nails done by you !!
Happy to see you have a sense of humor, There is always a control freak, Think Fay has A type personally
SO MUCH SHADE BEING THROWN MY LORD THIS IS GREAT!!!
You two are seriously like family, lol.
It's nice to see you joking about and cutting up.
I’m in the photography business and I hate it when clients try and tell me I’m setting up my equipment wrong when the only thing they know about photography is how to take photos on their phones 😩
SAME!
Daisy Morey oof that’s annoying like I’m really passionate about acting and I’ve been into it since I was like 8 years old now I’m 17 and then I have people get into it and act like they have been into it there whole lives and it’s “their thing” 😑
Like they get into it and week later they are like “I’m an actor” bish no
Your very funny Kirsty...super talented and pretty...received my first order last week I love the Gel polishes and glitter....need about a hundred more😄...I'm starting up again after 15 years! I watch you every night and it's helped me so much...I start renting a chair in a salon in 2 weeks....so scared aaaargh🙈😅...I hope my first client isn't as fussy as your pal😉😘
Sharon Wood 🍾good luck
This was a really fun video to watch. You are so talented Kristy. I’ve been watching you for years and when I saw the amount of glitter she wanted it made me nervous! Lol. But you did it and it turned out gorgeous. Love your spunky personality. You are beautiful honey! ❤️
“Get a grip” CANT GET A GRIP WITH THEM NAILS
Your the definition of a good you tuber, you are so interesting to watch and listen to. Even if you don’t really know any thing about nails, it is still so interesting to watch!!!!
As legend states, Faye will get her bloody way!
Or go to the 25 pound people and order them around.
exactly but i would never tell someone how to do their job, if i didn't like their work i would just not come back. Simple.
Ahhh great video very funny!!! The part about the length. She asks adam to check. Your reaction!!!
Love it
I would charge Faye double ;)
Hahahaha
Lol. Guess it’s the
Universes just keeping us on our toes . Omg yes she tells me every visit I need to make her nails more spectacular than the last set . Because everyone
Looks and expects to see her nails every two weeks . Love This video thanks !
I love being cheeky with my clients like this
Wow Fay come up with more crazy ideas I love watching these nail designs. Kristy you are amazing designer.
This is hilarious. I have the same sense of humor and sometimes people just don't get it
I've had a few of those types of clients with hair.
Rande Thorman that's so rude of your client!! That must be so frustrating. I'm sorry you have to deal with that!
Hahaha love the banter....fabulous job Kirsty x
1:32= Omg, is that even POSSIBLE?! I've never seen nail art like that in my life. If it is real, you are an EXTREMELY TALENTED nail artist. WOW.
Okay but all the sounds are hella satisfying 😍
Lol great video Faye may be a bit of a diva about her nails but she's got good taste cuz that looks fab I wish I had a nail tech as talented as you close to me! I'd become a bit of a nail diva myself lol 😁
Hahahaha. Love this!!! I know u joked about the one hour, but honestly how long does it take u to finish her nails each appointment?? Love your videos
Her client is being such a good sport about it all 😂😂
The nails are gorgeous...
What a pain in the ass to bad u dont have an ejecting chair id push that button so damn fast lmao😂😂😂😂
My nail person be different every time. So yaas I must check their work.
But if I had been coming to u for years & loved the work then I wouldn't worry lol
