for people who might not know the context with the "are you serious?" reply. Riven was one of his signature picks during early league which is why he said are you serious when he was asked if his riven is still good.
I’ll never forget that he was the player to really popularize auto attack canceling. Many people did it at the time but faker used it to peak efficiency and it showed with riven, especially with how league was back then.
The "DONGU" was so cute because NNO wanted to do "DOFGU" (Doran-Oner-Faker-Guma-Untara) but Faker switched his F to N for Noway 😄 Because that guys english is really good AND his name is spelled with an F, so I'm pretty sure that he won't confuse N and F (as some people suggested). Also the korean language uses a P for an F so he would have choosen that instead. Really cute interaction there.
It’s kinda funny that Faker is technically picking one of his favorite champ for Agurin, he was a yi enjoyer and he purposely chose master yi on pro play a long time ago
@@herobrinekennedy9474 I agree. Rift Rivals (though some try hard) and All Star are fun events we had before. I am glad Red Bull is sponsoring this kind of events now.

And as a side note ,i know that asians have a really hard time learning any language that isnt phonetic (which is obvious why ) is the same for us if we tried to learn Korean .

ain't no way you said education potential is low for this guy. He's Faker bro lmao 99% of the population on earth can't even do a speech, and this guy does it daily and he never messes up.

What you miss is that first you need to see the development of faker, while in 2015 he could barely say „thank you“. And now he could speak kind of fluently for lck and lpl especially thats pretty good because they dont have imports like LEC or LCS but mostly swap players in between each other so maybe koreans pratice chinese and vise versa. So the only time those player have an impact with english is at worlds. So he had to learn there or by himself which is hard especially for korean ppl. And i dont think faker is a person with a lot of free time😅
I don't know if english is your native language but if it is not and you are from Europe, it is hard for us to understand east asian countries when it comes to english. We are much more exposed to English than them by a significant amount. Like even if you don't do anything to learn english, you would still learn a few things here but in Korea, especially if you are a dropout you have to actively try to learn it which is impressive. He probably understand and speaks a little chinese too.
Have you been to any Asian country that's not Singapore Philippines or india? This is incorrect, they might have ok grammar and understanding but most Asian countries have horrible speaking skills
League is really lucky to have Faker.
Esport in general too, people acknowledge esport more largely thanks to Faker and s1mple as well. Paved the way for future goats too.
He's even more than what Jordan was for the NBA. This kind of personality goes beyond just being the Golden Goose.
