Loot From 100 Frozen Corpses In The Glacite Tunnels | Hypixel Skyblock

In this video, I looted 100 frozen corpses from the new Glacite Tunnels update and attempted to determine whether it's worth using keys or not. As it turns out, this is highly dependent on RNG, because the main drop you're looking for (the Shattered Locket) has only a 0.054% chance of dropping from the vanguard corpse.

I find umber/tungsten corpses to be a complete scam. At least with vanguard corpses I can RNG myself to massive profit

It is actually profitable because u actually need to mine in order to get into mineshaft. So u mine... u get profit and also you have the chance of getting the lock

Glacite tunnels is a fairly late game area, but if you still want to access it you should watch a quick guide. They always explain it at the beginning

In my opinion. The corpses should not take keys to loot. Even from a logic standpoint, why do you need a key to loot a corps? To balance this, you can tune done some of the loot you can get from the corpses. Overall, this is just disappointing. One of the main point of the update is to acquire the divan equipment yet with current prices of skeleton keys (which are pretty accurate to the resource cost and forge time), to be at odds of dropping the pendant you need to spend over 10 billion coin. Along with that, the rarity of the Vanguard corpses makes it nearly unobtainable.

I mean for a normal profile I understand the key system, it brings a lot of the money out of the economy which is great causing less inflation, and the update is geared towards people who should have loads of money to spend because it’s a decently late game-ish area needing a 655 and divans to progress well. I will say though, it is kinda harsh on Ironman people because of how resource intensive it is, but again it is pretty late game material and if Ironmen have gotten that far and have decent gear I think it’s somewhat fair
