@Beginzz omg It's not about the wrinkles necessary. It's just the texture and smoothness of skin. There's a difference between that smooth fresh skin of 20s and skin in the 40s which has had more time to age and be exposed to sun etc. It's not a criticism, just a fact of life.

Highly disagree. As an Indian I can say actresses above 40 here have better skin with far less surgery than American actresses in 20s or 30s. the problem is a lot of the younger stars like ariana have some serious dark circles so they gotta cake up a lot to keep up with beauty standards, but once they get older and less busy, like shakira, they can sleep regularly and go for more natural makeup
@Mahera Biz I also noticed the younger looking people were minorities (Latino and Black) so yes the melanin thing is correct.
Ariana looks her age because of the style of makeup she does (it's not western). And she is petite/small which helps.
@@asdfghjkl-oo7lv the melanin thing is not correct.The amount of melanin every race has is perfectly adaptet to the region the race comes from. Having darker skin is also a big problem if you live in colder regions. It leads to cardiovascular diseases.
The whiter skin does not need any melanin to stay younger,. The secret word (which you would know if you ever went to school) is COLLAGEN. Blk ppl produce it more. Here you go
@Mahera Biz There are plenty of white people they could have used that look younger - Jennifer Garner, Paul Rudd, Jared Leto are all about 50, Sandra Bullock is 56/57? William Shatner is about 90. Tbh Adele and Kylie always looked older, I don't think Eminem looks that young either. I'm 31 and have never looked my age, when I finally stop getting ID'd I know it's game over 😅.

I think a lot of Asian diets are healthier than western diets tbh that's why they age so much more gracefully
They have good genetics and much more fat on their faces which prevents wrinkles and skin sagging added to beauty standarts that revolve around looking younger.... like face shape, makeup.....

To be fair though I think alot of that had to do with their general difference in vibe. No matter how old ariana gets, I have the feeling that she will always seem very cutesy and young/youth. Doja on the other hand carries herself like much more mature, yet playful woman. So even though she's younger, of course she's going to seem older because (unlike ariana) cutesy, you fulness isn't realllyyyy her brand... Sexy playfulness is.

@TatzRules Yay i think that only plays a minor role though compared to genetics. Asians are genetically less pre-disposed to wrinkles, their signs of ageing more commonly shows as sunspots/liver spots whereas white people are pre-disposed to easily wrinkling
Honestly I think that's just Asians. I'm southeast asian but a lot of us don't look aged like westerners. Probably cause most Asians have that roundish oval face with rarely any defined features (like really wide jaws or cheekbones). Usually it's soft features. Plus looking younger is a thing with all the skin care and stuff- and rarely are facial hair a thing. Light make is more popular too than darker make up. Except for some other places.
