Whatever length that you’re comfortable with, as long as you put the same love and effort (and it’s very clear that you do) into your vids.. I can say that your subs including myself are gonna stay and don’t mind waiting for that special Joe Experience and not the Rogan kind. Looking forward to more content lined up :’)
Oh well cool, after watching your Witcher 1 Critique video all the way through to the credits, then checking your channel and seeing the last upload was from 11 months ago. Still can't wait to see that Witcher 3 video, love your stuff man. Genuinely a _painfully_ underrated UA-cam channel/creator.
I think God of War really needs attacks with each weapon that automatically switches your stance once you do them, similar to moves in fighting games (I can only think of howrang in tekken at the moment), the other thing it needs are attacks that smoothly switch your weapons while actively doing damage, similar to the trick weapon switching button in bloodborne which automatically turns into a unique attack if you press after attacking/rolling/backstepping
on the subject of trap rooms there were special hazard rooms designed around the axe reflecting, so the panels themselves aren't traps but certain rooms absolutely were. these were the ones with set spots for infinite chain bounces in different sections of the room. the only panels joe used were more like interactables but there were a bunch of rooms clearly designed as enemy hazards. it's a trap room that's activated by an axe throw. once you do it will fly around and deny and area while you use other weapons, trip up enemies that walk into the line of fire, etc. that's like the one example i remember though. there were like 3 or 4 of those total in the elf realm. i think there were 1 or 2 in the dwarf realm in the section immediately after randomly but then never again. as far as i remember. to be clear there was a reflecting panel in almost every enemy encounter in the interior section of the elf realm but few of them functioned as trap rooms and really were interactables. joe even noted himself several times that he missed them. or only realized after a fight was over.
i think the better ending of the first game would actially be the Odin Proposes Peace scene setting up the new status quo, with Atreus breaking it and setting things into motion.

there's a lot of attention to detail in ragnarok IMO, each area you can visit with either freya or atrius as your companion and can have drastically different dialogues for each side quest and side mini-boss and dungeon and stuff. There's also a few lines for when you do things out of order. Although I once did notice a pretty bad sequence break in dialogue, if you remember that one side quest where mimir is very sad and regretful about that creature he trapped in svartalheim, if you return to that area where you ring the gong with freya as your companion after finishing the quest with atrius, freya will have dialogues as if you're still haven't rung the gong and finished the quest, talking to mimir and asking him about the horrible thing he did, and no one would answer her lol, it is very clearly a missed line that should only play if you never visit that area again
If they really wanted to commit to the grounded combat with no jump button they couldve added at least a combo chain with the blades that would cause kratos to be launched into the air and stay in the air as long as you stayed in a combo string
Getting the spear was cool but there's nothing that comes CLOSE in terms of story and gameplay feel as getting the blades back. Personally, the first comparison I think of is getting the Alucard Sword back in SotN, but at that point it's been soooo long since you had the sword and you're soooo strong that it doesn't hit as hard. Plus it's very unceremonious. (Yeah I just compared a game from 96 to a game from 2018, come at me) Like, the blades are so iconic, and as you said in the video, the BALLS it took the devs to take them away for MOST of the journey is astounding and admirable, but only because for 3 mainline entries this WAS your weapon. I don't think a game or game franchise will be able to replicate that feeling for a loooooong time.
