I just finished playing RE2 for the first time. I was already amazed at how great the game was, and this song was the perfect culmination of that feeling. It just blew me away! I seriously need to learn this bassline.
Cloud Final Code Veronica is bigger and better looking but Nemesis is the better game IMO. Some of the stuff in CV is just annoying: Steve, that bit with axe Steve where you have to tank at least 2 hits, the final boss is pure garbage and ends the game on a low note (in fact all bosses in CV are pretty lame). I just replayed both in prep for RE3make and Nemesis is more fun for me, especially if you actually fight him and get all the upgrades.

Chris and Jill in the meantime were the ones taking out their main facilities around the globe. It was ultimately Wesker that brought Umbrella down with the information he uploaded in the mission that led Chris and Jill to the final Umbrella secret facility in Russia to find and kill the rumored Talos B.O.W.

If there's ever a time that Leon ends up becoming a playable character in the Marvel vs. Capcom series in the future, whether it's 5/10/20 years from now or whatever, this is his theme song that I always envisioned he would have.
