    Great to see you back. That riser looks about the right size for my 5 yr old grandson who I bought a cheap little bow for Xmas. He asked me if it was real like mine, when I said yes he then asked where his practice bow was. Hope your wrist heals with no problems and look forward to more of your great reviews and videos in general.

    So good to see you again.
    That bow looks fantastic!
    I love a low grip myself.
    The three bows I shoot the most, all have low grips.
    Hoyt Buffalo, the Dorado and Bearpaw Phantom.
    It would be nice to see you do some reviews of Bearpaw bows.
    I do believe you and Bodnik are friends, and he's got some really fine bows.
    Just a thought!
    Best of luck from Fredrik, in Sweden

    Do you have any scarring of the arrow shelf from shooting the bow at all? Or any cutting away of the pad on the arrow shelf? If that's not normal is there any way to prevent it. I notice when I shoot an arrow it's causing to have color appear on the shelf or scarring of the actual coating on the shelf. Is that normal?

  • @JakeBullit123
    @JakeBullit123 6 років тому +1

    Let's see more of that editor guy,he doesn't muck about. Is that arrow holder universal fit?

    • @ArcheryAdventures
      @ArcheryAdventures  6 років тому +1

      Jake Bullit not quite... mine works on the slim line because, but the gripper is good for most normal arrows, Selway do do a slimline gripper though :)

    Hi Jim, Good to see you are posting vids again. What equipment are you using to film? Noticed FCP X on the lovely iMac. Nice to have a large screen for editing. How do you find editing on it? A bit of foam and a little fluffy mic cover off ebay will cut the wind noise off your audio. A couple of quid off ebay. I have a large sheet of the fluffy stuff if you want to make your own.

    • @ArcheryAdventures
      @ArcheryAdventures  6 років тому +1

      skysurferboy I love the big screen! It does really help :)
      Yeah we’re getting the sound sorted, unfortunately I lost all my gear when I left Merlin, but we are building it back up slowly... a Nice radio mic is next on the list 😉

    • @skysurferboy
      @skysurferboy 6 років тому

      Archery Adventures Its always nice to have a radio mic. Gives you a bit of freedom and if the mic is mounted correctly then the audio will be good.

    Was about to go to bed, and then I notices Archery Adventures in my sub feed. Guess I'm gonna be sleepy at work tomorrow. :P
    Great to have you back on the tube Jim!
    On another note. If I'm not mistaken, Henry Bodnik from Bearpaw joins you on your archery gatherings? I've just purchased a Mohawk chief hybrid! It looked like you brought one to the gathering in 2017? If you've had the opportunity to shoot it, what is your opinion of it?
    Cheers from Norway!

    • @ArcheryAdventures
      @ArcheryAdventures  6 років тому +1

      Gronnth unfortunately he doesn’t seem to attend anymore... but yes I do have a mohawk, it’s actually fine bow, and shoot well, it’s what I qualified for the world 3D’s with... but unfortunately I’m having to sell it to fund some better audio recording equipment! 😅

    • @Gronnth
      @Gronnth 6 років тому

      What a shame. He probably have a lot of work to do. I ordered the Mohawk early October, and it won't be delivered until late January, or early February.
      Great to hear that it's a good bow, and a shame to hear that you have to sell yours! But you don't have any shortage of bows to play with I'm guessing. ;)
      Looking forward to another great year of archery, and all your coming reviews and videos!
      If you ever happen to get your hands on the "new" Hoyt Satori, do make a video about it! Seems to be the successor of the Dorado. ;)

    I really enjoy watching your videos... old and new! But one question is nagging on me since I saw this bowquiver... please gimme the information, which brand it is... or is it an optional mounting option for thunderhorn etc... (because I have a thunderhorn boa mounted to my one piece recurve, and the one you're using looks very similar except the mounting devices...) greetings and thanks from bavaria...
