Cramming a 5.2 with a 5speed in an 86 2dr this video was highly helpful as for as making the mounts and other smaller swapping bread crumbs! Excited to see the progress and finish!

I got a hemi that I might use in my XJ might pull it from my commander and freshen it up. Not sure how wide s hemi is vs a 6.0 but I can cut the unirail if need be my XJ is actually mostly tube frame now the unibody isn't doing much the trans hump is already cut out a bit and obviously no stock suspension I think it's alit easier for me to drop in than someone trying to retain a factory XJ...just thinking right now it could be ls or hemi im the fall going wheeling for the summer on the 4.0 then the cussing begins around October

I think the Hemi is alittle wider than the 6.0. Don’t think you’d go wrong either way both good engines. It really wasn’t that bad of swap just time consuming trying to figure everything out.

What transmission and rear end did you use?

545 rfe transmission from the Hemi,231j transfer case and Dana 60 axles
