Very likely. I haven't heard of anyone returning after 2 weeks of their disappearance (esp in such suspicious circumstances), and no ransom call. Unfortunately, in most cases they were all dead. In some cases their bodies were never found but even so they were considered dead because they never contacted any of their kith, kin, pets and left their bank accounts untouched - all hinting towards the fact that they are no more. Someone was in wait in her home or building, there would be no other reason to spray the cameras unless a plan was in place for later to attack her or do something without being noticed or seen.
I'd imagine they investigated who she met if she was apartment hunting, but my money is on the husband who disappeared as well after.
But the apartment was closed from outside? So she must have normally left the apartment.... And closed it. There were no signs of attack inside the apartment otherwise they would have claimed it as a homicide.

I just don't like to judge anybody without a proof. Investigations can tell family something, she is missing too many day's,this is they fault bc I think that fbi must go deeper, can invastigate phones...etc,they can not wait a minute more! this is not random. husband is very likely involved. if there's no password on her phone it would have been easy for someone who had access to it to install tracking software on it...another effective way to track her would be access to her email, which could easily be accomplished by anyone who has or had ready access to her computers. there are plenty of ways for an interested party to surreptitiously set up tracking of someone they have close physical access to . Is there an Airtag hidden in her luggage, for example?. Given the juridsdictional issues here this kind of case would probably never be solved or looked deeply in the absence of public, embarrassing pressure /highlighting such as is being brought by Chris Cuomo and NewsNation.

This is extremely sad , i dont think justice will ever be served in this womans disappearance, the husband lives in a non extradition country , there is no competant investigation going on - you want to think its the husband ..I do ,but there are lots of bad actors in europe ... They need to trace her steps back on the day she looked at apartments... somebody along that route knew where she lived as she probably mentioned it in passing, like "Oh this is close to where I currently stay in.... & this is perfect as it's just down the road." Often you view apartments with other viewers & they could have been earwigging her conversation. Possibly the person who sprayed the cameras was one of those viewers... You also normally complete forms when you are there to give information to the Estate Agent, incase you lose that apartment, but they can maybe find you something similar from the information you give them... I was an Estate Agent for 5 years... This is not just a missing person anymore... Hire a PI most definitely. I hope she's ok, she is beautiful & sounds like a lovely person... so tired of defenseless women being the target, just like Rachel Morin. The only other thing is the estranged Husband hired somebody. How did the person know who to contact in her phone ie: BF & her Brother, & know to speak English to the BF & Spanish to the Brother? Possible instructions given by the estranged Husband...💔

Isnt it clear it cant be someone from Spain? The messages the person sent to his brother were indicating that the person used google translator. So it must have been someone not being familiar with Spanish. And to be honest, if it was a foreigner living in Spain, you would at least know a bit of Spanish and able to phrase sentences correctly so it doesnt sound like google translator. Its a strong indicator that this person was out to get her there. Potentially traveling to Madrid from abroad.

She was a beautiful young girl, and could easily have been a target by any opportunist. I hope she gets the help she needs or is located because she may be in some kind of danger obviously and may still be alive and held somewhere. And there’s sex trafficking, and she could’ve easily been a target of that as well.
