I am already impressed with this one.
Regarding quickly reading the watch, you may know this already, but it's designed to be worn on the inside of your wrist so when you're driving you can read the time without taking your hand off the wheel. Wearing it on the inside of your wrist may help the orientation and quick reading

Baltany are really standing out from the pack. All of their watches are so well done, it's insane for their price. I do think this 1921 is their best yet. I ordered mine today, and can't wait to enjoy it.

They offer two different movements. Which one did you try
Mine has the seagull with the small seconds. The other is a hi beat mountain but it has the central second hand.

I like it, but the fact the seconds subdial is oriented differently to the hours and minutes just seems off, even if thats how the original was. They should've offset the seconds register.
Baltany also does a no sub second version which looks good too.

Baltany are all class. I'd love to see them also homage mainstream sports watches to compete head to head with San Martin, as I think they have the quality chops to do so.

@@thegorn sure but I like the focus Baltany has on vintage models especially those that aren't usually homages. Let's be honest we don't need another Submariner clone that probably is made in the same factory as all the others.

I love the case design, hands/dial finish and indices. However, I can't understand why VC made the 60 seconds marker in line with where 12 would be on the case of a normal watch, and not aligned with twelve on this dial, that is just daft. They do a centre seconds version withta Miyota 9039 which I like, but it is £245.
I’m considering the other version too. But probably don’t need both

This is very First time to see someone who doesn't mention about movement for watch review... Movement is a biggest part of watch, I believe, because it's a damn watch, not an accessory.
That'd be true if our smart phones didn't tell the time better than any wristwatch, wrist watches are just jewellery with mechanical insides these days.

Has anyone ever opened the case and covered the Baltany name with another logo/design? Can't stand these ridiculous names and ugly designs ruining a nice watch
Some from AliExpress are terrible. I don’t mind Baltany. Sounds ok to me.
But I just don’t like how they placed it in this watch.
A lot of these brands will do a custom logo if you ask them
you can customize the logo for $38
