I know this tutorial is now 4 yrs old but I'm so happy i found your tutorial. I also have to thank you for saying to keep at it...that the pattern improves after the first few rows. I wasn't sure when i first started it but now I love it! It's my favorite dishcloth pattern so far (and I've made more than a few). Very easy pattern and very pretty!

Beautiful pattern!! And I love the name cause it really does remind me of spritz cookies 😋
Just ignore the negativity - you’re so right - some people just love to complain and criticize. I love your tutorials - very easy to follow. Thank you 💜

LOVE YOUR TUTORIAL, I AM IN LOVE WITH THE STITCH AND SPEED OF THE PATTERN PROJECT.I NEED GUIDANCE PLEASE, I AM ADDING TO STITCH COUNT, AT THE ENDS, SEEMS TO BE INCREASING. COULD YOU PLEASE SHOW THE ENDS CLOSER?? ARE BOTHE ENDS TO BE A SINGLE CROCHET, THROUGHOUT THE PATTERN ??
Love the pattern, A bit hard to see in the darker thread for my old eyes.
Looking for new pattern! Great one!
Thank you Anastasia! ♥
Very pretty crochet stitch! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Wendy! 😊❤
Thank you! Absolutely love this pattern. Now I’m teaching my 11 yr old daughter.
Im so glad you're enjoying this project P Kay! Thank you for your kind comment ❤
I love this and it's so easy to follow. However when I am doing it, and I have done quite a few, the spritz pattern on mine don't seem to be as definitive as yours. I can really see the spritz design in yours, but not mine. What could I be doing wrong? I am following it exactly and count my stitches as well...
I'm so sorry to hear Sandra? Are you using multi-colored or solid? I find that the pattern seems more defined in the solids.
Just found this tutorial! I'll be making some of these.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it! ❤😊
I learned a major lesson today about cotton yarn. I bought numerous rolls of Sugar and Cream yarn to make some dishcloths and hand towels for my daughter and future daughter-in-law for Christmas. I have never used cotton yarn and this is very hard for me to crochet with. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands so I am not sure if I am going to have them made in time for Christmas.
Try using the I love this cotton from hobby Lobby
Agreed! It is definitely a more comfortable cotton to work with 😊
Hi Colleen I love to make dishcloths I'm looking forward to trying it. I have lily sugar n cream that would work??
Absolutely Lindsey! Perfect yarn for it ❤ I hope you enjoy 😊
Is the multi yarn a mercerised cotton?
My cloth seems ver small . If I want one of seven inch, how much would I need to chain..... this was fun and easy and I love it. Thank you😊😊😊
Worked in multiples of 4 Donna, just as 4 to your count or 8 or more (remember to add 1 more chain for your start)
Thank you for sharing I can’t wait to try it huggs
Thank you Wendy! ❤
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CAN I MAKE WITH A 5.7MM HOOK PLEASE!
I feel like such a dummy, I've been crocheting for several years now, and mostly self taught. I have learned many new stitches on UA-cam. I've never liked the look of the foundation chain. Thank you so much for the suggestion of stitching into the back of the chain.....Ahhhhh so much better! I am so happy with this. And yes I am half way done with your pattern but am making a dish towel!
Also what was the ame of your FB group please?
Don't feel like a dummy at all! I've been crocheting for several yrs myself and still learning things I feel I should already have known. I learn from other people every day, be it crochet or other 😊 Our group is at facebook.com/groups/yarnwars Look forward to seeing you and your creations! Thanks so much for your kind comment 😊❤
How big is this Plus when
I've made a lot of dish scrubbies/cloths with cotton yarn... after a day or so they start smelling :( and still smelly after washing. I thought using cotton yarn whould prevent this...
Unfortunately no. There are many different methods you can Google to clean dish cloths effectively to eliminate the odor. Vinegar, diluted bleach, baking soda, I personally throw them in with the towels and wash them a little more frequently... (I've had to toss a few dish cloths over the years...lol)
It’s a beautiful pattern and I love the colors but I am struggling to find this brand?😞
So, I would like please, if you can write the brand of this yarn. Thank you, dear!
Hi Regina! a couple of the brands I no longer had sleeves for, but the multi color is I love this cotton, I think it's a hobby lobby yarn. Here is a link to one, there are several on their site and in their store, but you can use any cotton you like =) www.hobbylobby.com/Yarn-Needle-Art/Yarn/I-Love-This-Cotton-Yarn/p/139211 Thank you!
Colleen Hays link says “page not found”. It does take you to the hobby lobby website where u can search for what u want.
Thanki you! I like this! I’m a beginner, but I think I can do this. Do you have a website or written instructions that I can use? I do better reading the instructions. Thanks.
Oh gee! Lol. I got it. ❤
Yes! www.yarnwars.com 🥰
How long is your dish cloth? You gave us the width, thanks.
I make them square for the most part. You can make them as long as you like though 😊
How many rows did you do
Hi I am very anxious to try this pattern there’s something I do not understand and maybe you can answer a question for me. When you do the two stitches together and then chain one wouldn’t make your project smaller because you’re crocheting two stitches together?
Hello! Thank you for your comment! To your question...No, the chain 1 is making up for that 2nd stitch. 😁
Thank you for answering that for me I do appreciate it very much. I’ve been crocheting for quite a long while and I’m recovering from a very serious illness where I’ve had some brain damage and I just could not figure that out thank you
Can I use arylic red heart yarn? Blair
Hi Blair, you absolutely can! just keep in mind the cotton is going to be a more absorbent fiber 😉
@@chaysiecrochet oh ok thanks you so much
You bet! 😊
What am I doing wrong... I've had to start over a couple of rows because it keeps fanning out maybe I'm not doing my first single crochet at the right spot at the end... I don't know cause I'm not really seeing where the first single crochet is going because of the dark color you're using... I give up!!!
Hi Nicole! At 15:02 you will see where exactly I go in at the end. Make sure you count your stitches across for the 1st few rows to make sure you are getting the correct # of stitches in until you have it down pat but there's really not much to this particular pattern. If it's fanning out, it's possible you are adding more than you should be within the row?
The stitch that you keep referring to is called a single crochet 2 together.
Yes, it is written as a sc 2 tog in my written pattern along with the description below the video in the repeat rows... my videos sometimes are a little more descriptive than termy...lol... thank you Barbara 😊
Could dk cotton be used pleased ?
Absolutely! I think it would turn out just fine 💕
How many rows is the projects you showed us?
I would say approximately 20 - 22 rows 😊
@@chaysiecrochet Thank you. I really like this. Super easy and super fast.
@@jackiejohnson6193 thank you! I'm still working these up! 👍😊
Can’t see the stitch when you’re doing the single crochet yarn to dark
Love this pattern thank you! Try this out today for some reason I can't get it to look like yours 😥
I'm so sorry to hear Lorelei, happy to help in any way I can 😊 Love your name btw!
@@chaysiecrochet can I get your email address I'll send you a picture and you can tell me what I did wrong Maybe
What size hook is J ? Thanks
6mm
😊
How many rows you crochet to ???? TIA
Crochet as many rows as you like to make your desired size cloth 😊
Looks pretty but hard to see because it is very dark.
Single chain and 2? What?
love this but the sound is to low to hear all that your saying
Thoroughly. Enjoyed your video. You’re good I like that you’re sweet I like that. Thanks.
It's the only hook I have
I have 2 more hooks

Too slow
Lots of talking,...I feel a bit impatient...
Too much rambling pls just show the work
Unfortunately Sharhonda, not all channels are what you wish them to be. I provide a channel with patterns in my style, if you don't like it, you are not bound to it. I've said it once, I'll say it again, I provide a written pattern for all of my designs, you are probably best to follow those. Thanks!
@@chaysiecrochet I wasn't trying to be mean that definitely wasn't my intention ,just my opinion but your absolutely right take care and God Bless
