This was so much fun!! Had a great time! :-)
Loved!! Also , do you happen to have a GinaCurl?
Plant Apothecary isn't black owned. It was founded by a black woman, but the company was sold. The products are still wonderful, but just an update for people who care! PA put up a post in 2020 with a supportive list of black owned brands that they recommended people try. :)
this idea is so smart 😩😩 love seeing our fellow black brands/businesses get hype
The lip bar is black owned too which was the brand next to Mented
Shoutout to Cocoa Butter for providing such great content. I’m definitely going to look into these products, I absolutely love this video!! Thanks for introducing us to quality, black owned products.
Primark sells a black owned lashes brand called G.W.A/Girls With Attitude that are really affordable and good for the price.
The Crayon Case is one of my favs. Their highlighters will last you the rest of your life! I just started buying Beauty Bakerie as well and that’s been great. The themes for both are fantastic marketing!
Apply your Shae butter when your skin is still damp it will absorb better and apply a lot easier. I had to learn that in school I didn’t know that beforehand. well I saw my mom do it but it wasn’t until school I learned it was legit lol
I have yet to try Pattern by Tracie however I do use Taraji P’s shampoo and conditioners and I love them!! Highly highly recommend 🙂
I loveee her scalp shampoo and scrub
I loveee black girl sunscreen
They are both very pretty ! Love it girls
*Buttah skin and black girl sunscreen for the win! I get so many compliments on my skin/ the glow when I use these. 👏🏾
Loved this video!! Thank You for also posting links to the products. 1 stop shopping at it’s finest.
Black Owned Brands I Use Religiously and Love :
Herb N Eden: They have amazing soaps, bath salts, oils. They are a clean brand and I love the fact you can look at the label and know each ingredient without having to google it. I only use this brand of soap and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized after I use it.
Kreyol Conditioner: Is the brand I switch to after the Organix scandal. Wish I did it sooner to be honest.
Alodia Nourish & Heal Organic Black Soap Wash: Is the brand I switch to after the Organix scandal as well. My scalp feel so clean after using this.
Coloured Raine : Great matte color lipsticks that you can blend with others. Will come off if you ate something greasy of course.
Taliah Waajid African Healing Oil: Great to use after washing your hair. You can use it dry but I prefer when my hair is wet and or freshly washed.
Shea Moisture's Curl & Style: Really great to use on my wet hair for nice curls.
Kin Apparel: Really great hat/pillowcase/hoodie satin lined brand for those days you have a bad hair day or with winter coming and wanting to protect your curls.
Fenty: All of the Fenty's are good. Point blank period.
Chic Afrique: Body brand that has soaps, butters/lotions and hair products. My favs are Adun, Aki, Okuma in any form.
Orly- Black own vegan nail polish company. Pine-ing for you and Morning Oasis are my favs.
I’ve been using Orly for years & didn’t know they are black owned! Thanks for sharing this list!
What organix scandal? Organix is OGX right?
@@elithluxe7568 There hair products contain chemicals that cause hair loss and scalp irritation. They have have a class action suit against them
@@Meo9131 oh shit wtf I used them a while ago and my hair volume lessened to literally half of what it was and I had very thick hair so it makes me want to scream. I just realized the hair fall went back to normal last time 2 weeks ago (I have dry scalp, can go weeks without washing) when I used Mane n Tail instead. I haven't put two and two together until your comment. I was using the coconut milk ogx combo and my hair was falling out so much. I was wondering wtf was going on cause I'm Asian and I have great hair genes. My diet was normal, so was sleep and no stress. Now that my hair is thin, I have no idea what to do to regain the amount of hair because I have never done anything to thicken my hair or use any remedies to get it cause I'm lazy and it's unnecessary....
Taliah got me through my beginning stages of natural
This is so cute! I’m loving this!
That sunscreen * chefs kiss *
Melanin by Whit is so good
I definitely want to try the Juvia and the buttah product. Loved this idea.
There is a balck owned beauty business here in Cleveland,Ohio called Rebellious beauty she has great products!
Beautiful women and a beautiful concept!
This was a great idea but maybe a month review to see the real results of the product
I swear by black girl sunscreen 🙌🏾- Black Esthetician ❤️ highly recommend!
Trying to user black owned everything forever 🤎
Eyelash primer paired with good mascara is a great substitute when you can’t find lashes. But I haven’t seen one from a black owner line. Somebody make it happen ! 😂
Everything thing about this... 💪🏿💖
Been loving buttah skin too
I wish I would've know I would've sent y'all some Sivad Beauty products from my line to try. Your skin would've loved it.
A link please so I can try the product please?
I live and breathe by Pattern beauty products!! Does wonders for my hair.
love this 💜
Pretty cool, good channel
The dog 🥺
Love this!
love this!!!!
This was awesome
What was the name of the foam you used before blow drying/straightening your hair?
Yes
I so love this 💕💕🖤🖤
After the stunt she pulled, Juvias place is a no for me
What happened?
THANK YOU. I have felt off because it feels like I'm the only person not buying it, but I'm committed to not putting my money there. There are other brands.
What happened?
@@aneshaelizabeth Not trying to sound rude but search it on youtube. It's literally too much to explain 😡 A few famous black youtubers spoke on it and I've been done with them ever since
@@Jade-po1yf It was a big mess, search it on youtube. Because they explain in detail and show the proof
I think there's no going back
I wish more women’s wash and go routines were actually wash and go rather than wash and style.
Love how she said for highlight then used eyeliner 😭
No shade, but Pattern looks like it has so much alcohol in it based on how fast the conditioner dried your hair out.
Melanin by naptural85….just sayin
Remember God loves you😊
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Please turn your life around and repent before its too late🙏🤗
Amen! ❤️
Ugh lol
God also flooded the world and killed everybody. And did nothing while black folks were in slavery,. Swear y'all Christians in an abusive relationship with God.
@@willard5137 get over it and move on, slavery happened way before you was born so stop crying about it. Am I the only black person who’s not living in the past?
@@user-mt1so6tn1b this has nothing to do with slavery and more about praising a God meant to keep black people turning the other cheek and looking for salvation in Heaven, rather than on Earth.
