So proud of you!!! What an amazing achievement.... you had a great support team too with all your lovely friends there at the beginning, middle and end!
Awesome job!! I'm thinking of doing my first half iron man this July in 🇨🇦. The fact you did the training in 8 weeks gives me hope, that's how long I have to train.
Nice one, you finished the run strong 💪🏼. I am going to do my first ever 70.3 next month i aim for 40 mins swim 3,5 hour bike ride then 2,5 hour run probably
@@winterbine it is the west friesland 70.3 in hoorn ( netherlands ). Did train allot for it and i am confident i will finish. But i always get so much pain in my right feet while cycling. Did try 2 bike fits 5 shoes and i have also special in soles... but still it really hurts after 30 mins cycling. So that will be my biggest bump... have to figure out the problem after i finish the 70.3 sunday. Because i want to do a whole ironman eventually
That’s frustrating and also strange that it only affects you on the bike, it could be anything really, it may not even be the foot that causes it, could be referred pain from high up the leg, hopefully you can over come it on race day and get the finish.
Teach yourself to swim in a pool, try and swim a length of the pool then once you can swim a length just keep building it up. I could barely swim when I started but I just kept trying and sucking at it until I didn’t suck anymore and I could swim the 2000metres none stop. I can’t tell you when but if you keep trying at it you will get there

What if I don’t know how to swim
Don't do an ironman
Teach yourself to swim in a pool, try and swim a length of the pool then once you can swim a length just keep building it up. I could barely swim when I started but I just kept trying and sucking at it until I didn’t suck anymore and I could swim the 2000metres none stop. Doesn't look like an IRONMAN
