    I once had a *bear* take up hibernation in my luggage box. I asked him to leave and in the end we negotiated a deal where he'd stay put and I'd live to see Spring. On the bright side, I didn't get any mouse seeds in my mufflers.

      There were a couple of pine cone like things left behind in my luggage box - but I was too polite to mention them to the bear. We hang them on our Christmas Tree now and year after year visitors comment on their aroma.

      I got a Honda Click 125 here in Thailand for you to drive all year round, if you want...
      I've summerized it by painting the entire bike shiny white, so that it doesn't becomes too hot in the sun (which also makes it easy to find in the parking lot...).
      I also added mosquito repellent to the gasoline, so that the bike automatically repels those pesky small vampires while driving.
      Lastly I've added Old Spice to the gasoline as well, so the local girls are flocking around it!

  • @thefreedomguyuk
    @thefreedomguyuk 7 років тому +9

    Nah, too much work.
    I just leave the bikes out in the snow. Soon a protective layer of ice will build up, covering them entirely and hermetically. No oxygen can affect the metals, and no rust can form.
    Exactly like having your bike sealed in plastic.
    By summer this ice wrap will melt, and your bike is ready for sunny summer rides!

    I personally add a dry hydrocarbon such as sugar or Styrofoam into the tank thickens up the gas and makes it tougher for it to freeze and expand plus the added viscosity helps to protect the carb and cylinder walls

    Any way you can do a video for us dumbasses who didn't winterize in the fall but need to get the bike ready in the spring? Wheels were on the ground all winter (concrete floor in bldg underground), full gas with no additives, carbs not drained, battery died so I bought a new one, basically didn't do anything in this video and just left it sitting there with a full tank of gas and a bike cover. Yeah, I know, I'm a dumbass :-(
