- My girlfriend and I love Wingstop's lemon pepper wings, but the nearest good one is an hour and a half away. So we learned how to make them ourselves!!! These are the real deal deep fried wings, not those sissy baked ones! We also made the recipe so the ingredients are lower in sodium than the real place, but it tastes just as good!
UPDATE! We tried a new lemon pepper seasoning and it tasted different. So I am saying to try to find the one that you like the most. The one we used is from the 99cent store. It tasted the best and you can't argue with your taste buds. The deep fryer in this video is by DeLonghi. - Розваги
@infinithoughts I work at Wingstop. For the lemon pepper sauce, we use lemon pepper seasoning and Golden Award butter alternative. We cook the wings at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. The fries are just tossed in our seasoning and for the ranch, we use mayonnaise, bulgarian buttermilk, and hidden valley ranch mix. Hope this helped
Thank You, you were the only one who went into full details and gave measurements. Great Job
I tried this recipe last weekend and it has become my favorite!! It is super easy and the wings taste great!! Thanks for the video!
Nice video! Producing a video like this takes so much time and editing, good job!
Great video! I made these 2 years ago for the superbowl and they came out great. Im going to make them again this sunday THANK YOU.
Such a good video! I’ve been making lemon pepper wings because of your video! Thank you for this!!!
thanks soooooo much for this. I just had some of the best lemon pepper wings at a place called Wing Zone in Columbia, SC and decided that I have to try to make them. Can't wait! Great vid!!
Not sure what temp Wing Stop does their wings at, but I know for a fact they cook them 14 minutes. I always fry mine for 15 just in case. I also skip the oil part after they come out. I just dump ALOT of lemon pepper in a ziplock bag, drop the fried chicken in and shake it. I do the same with cajun seasoning, garlic pepper, sweet baby rays hot wing sauce, etc. You can do multiple types of wings without having to screw around with multiple bowls.
about 315
I do my wings at 350 for 12 minutes and then I shake them in what ever seasoning or sauce using and old plastic ice cream bucket. BANGEN EVERY TIME!
I'm going to try it ur way, just dump the lemon pepper after they're cooked, I don't like that fact she did put oil after they wer cooked. Thanks for sharing ur way to cook them.
Thanks for the video! Going to make these tonight for my family. Love the fryer!
Tried it, loved it! The fam loved it too. Thanks for the post...

His face expression is priceless lol.... love it, trying this this wkend thanks
@musicalman77 It's Wingstop brand. We get it from a company called Saladino's. And we use vegetable oil to cook the wings and fries. To make the lemon pepper sauce, we use 2 cups of lemon pepper seasoning for every gallon of butter. The garlic is made the same way except we use garlic powder instead of lemon pepper. Hope this helped
This was the bomb! Just what I was looking for!
I made these wings tonight(10/6). I am so happy that I will not need to pay those high prices at Wingstop anymore! This is a great recipe. Thank you!
I always make sure my winggs are well done

Great Recipe & Great Video... Wingstop is Great, but I don't always have time to drive over there!!! I just followed your recipe & the wings turned out Great! Thanks... U Rock!!! :)
I made lemon pepper wings for NYE and they were a big hit. I marinated the wings overnight in lemon pepper seasoning and fresh lemon juice. Then I fried them for 10 mins ( for extra crispiness) and added lemon pepper from the "99 cents only store". I was told my chicken wings were better than wing stop.
I enjoyed this vid with the pleasant music and all. Right on uploader

Tried it with other seasoning since I had no lemon pepper. Was great. THX
I have never nor do I now work at Wing Stop, but I have modified this recipe using my kids and husbands' taste buds (along with a few comments posted on here). I don't use EVOO, I used butter instead. Prior to placing the wings in the fryer, I mixed them in melted butter and 1 1/2 tsp of McCormick Lemon & Pepper Seasoning to coat. I left them in the fryer for about 9-10 minutes (depends on how meaty they are)....
The people at my job eat there religiously! Those wings look good, so I might try them tomorrow.
Looks Flamboyant
Awesome Ima try it when I get home

This looks great! I have the Hot Wings down. Now I'll try this one. What type of deep fryer is that?
Cant wait to try this! :D
We have to Wing Stops here in Memphis. We also have another place called Wing Factory. I ordered Lemon Pepper wings from there once. I remember watching the person toss the wings in some yellow substance, I believe it to be butter. Then they add lemon pepper and tossed. They did this about 3 times. I usually get the Cajun wings but Lemon Pepper is good too. You also have to be sure to tell them you want light lemon pepper on your fries
I just sprinkle the lemon pepper on the chicken wings, the additional olive oil soften the crispy skin.
I will try it tonight, I so love lemon pepper wings
I like love the way you present an instruction. You should do it often...js.
Thank you so much for the video. I now know what I was doing wrong. I didn't use the olive oil with the seasoning in the bowl so the lemon pepper was not sticking.
Love it! Thank you...
Was looking for a way to fry chicken without flower.
Going to try this out
That just inspired me to cook! Bout to order me one of those deep fryers.... Fancy huh
lol. idk where you live but we also buy our seasonings from the dollar store. my grandmother uses them and people always want to know what she seasons her food with!ive tried the others but those are the best!
It's awesome!

I'm going to try this on my brothers carnitas cazo 😎

your a great cook,i love this recipe. question do i let the wings defrost over night. and the seasoning in the bowl it look like a little bit but you say all i have to do is toss it in the bowl.
Awesome video, should have done this sooner. Very pleased!
Thanks for the recipe . The Lemon Pepper wings are my favorite. Im trying to save calories so Im going to trying baking them instead of deep frying them. Hope they come out well
Great recipe! I like to add a little garlic and maybe a squeeze of lemon juice, depending on how strong of a lemon taste I feel like having!
Am I the only one that thinks she didn't finish cooking the wings?
Lol no your not...should've put it on ten or fifteen
I was waiting for her to cook them down in a lemon sauce or something
That would've been good too lol
Agree

Best easiest recipe ever
Nice and simple good video
Thanks for the help!!!

good video. my wings turned out alot better after watching this video
Great!!
I like your deep fryer what fryer is it?
FANTASTIC, just made some, but i skipped the olive oil in favor of butter...PS: Lawrey's Lemon pepper is the BEST!
OMG!!! Definitely better than wing stop!!!!
Thank you we gonna make it right now. Hopefully its hella good then no more $35 dollar trips to wingstop.
you guys have a nice deep fryer...fancy lol
I'm gonna try this on Shrimp! What I really need is The Atomic sauce recipe! Holla!
Those look hella good
What kind of fryer are you using? I think I might need one.
Thx so much will try any other tips on the garlic parm wings?
evoo? Anyway I thought there was butter in there. Do the wings get a flour crust to help them crisp up in the frying process?
Thnx for that tip
In Memphis there is a Wing Stop, but I also go to a place called Wing Factory. You can see them making them wings in both places. At Wing Factory what I noticed is they will tossed the wings in something yellow, which I assume is butter. I know know if it's regular butter or say lemon butter. I can't tell if its more melted or more the texture of the squeezable kind.,
yummmm! I need the seasoning damn it!
@sweetfeet945 can't find the lemonpepper seasoing in this video anywhere. What brand (if there is one) is used for the wingstop where you work?

After they have browned I transferred them to a plate that is coated with paper towels to soak up some of that grease. (I don't know about you, but I think Wing Stop is great but way too much grease). Once enough grease is off the wings, I quickly transfer to a bowl that has the following ready:
1/4 cup of melted butter (enough to coat the amount of wings you have)
2 and 1/2 tsp of the same McCormick seasoning
1 and 1/2 tsp of lemon juice or one squeezed large lemon with its zest...
I'm gonna make these today weeeeeeeee
mmmm i love wingstop.where you get that fryer??
