Another great video. Thanks for all the info and inspiration that you put out there.
I appreciate that!
Thanks for another great video! As soon as I find the right truck I’ll be out there doing RV transport. Your videos definitely inspire and have a positive vibe!
Thanks for commenting! We appreciate the positive feedback! Good luck on your journey - if you need any helpful assistance let us know!
I totally agree with the Rockstar rock guard that’s what I have too, really easy on and off
We love ours!
RV life, as well as Rv Transport is why watch the channel
We appreciate the love ❤️
Sometimes a “vacation “ is way more work than relaxation. They’re worth it but can definitely be exhausting
Most definitely! 💯
Keep up the good work
Thank you!!
I can't wait to see the trip footage, when you have time to edit it of course!
Honestly, and it's an unpopular opinion, but I think the damage escrow is really low considering our line of work. Most semi truck carriers require at least a $1500 escrow when leasing on, and their cargo is generally protected inside a trailer. Ours of course is at a greater risk of driver damage. And despite inflation, the escrow has stayed at $1500 at least since I did my first load back in 2018.
So that's my unpopular opinion on it, especially as a multi haul driver who has to have a x2 damage escrow.

BTW: thanks for sharing this info with us!
HEY my man!!! Love your videos brother!!! I would love to talk with you sometime. Retired military here!
Thanks! Appreciate your positive feedback! Feel free to email me at theriverstonelife@gmail.com btw thank you for your service!
I hope you're successful finding a way for NY people to run. I recently retired from a state job, and RV transport would be perfect.
It is crazy how hard it is to try to find insurance for NY people - if we hear any info - we will surely pass it along.
Great video my brother bought a 2024 silverado 3500 he got an email for a transmission recall have a great day be safe.
Thank you and thanks for sharing - do you know if it is a recall for the whole transmission?
@@TheRiverstoneLife I don't think so when they do it I will let you know.
I would like to see a equipment list that you would need to start at wave
We just posted picture’s of that information on our community post area. There are 2 separate posts regarding this. Feel free to check that out 😊
@ thanks for replying back to me so quickly appreciate it guys and I will look that up. Looking forward to some more of your videos.
Welcome to PA William. Now whats your route. I'm in Harrisburg

Thanks for the info!
As soon as my tag comes in I’ll get an orientation date.. had to get an apportioned tag. But I did put your name down lol so you’ll get another one
Nice! Looking forward to helping you out any way I can. Thanks for the referral - we appreciate it!
People are ridiculous!! Hello william. This is william from north alabama.
💯 agree! Btw 👋 William!
Hey William, thank you for the videos. Forgive me if you’ve talked about this already, but I have a question about the transport company you work for. I couldn’t find it on their website, but what are their rules for having a passenger in your vehicle while transporting? I had started the process to start driving for a different company a few years ago and they said it was not permitted unless that passenger is another qualified transport driver. I ended up not starting the job, but may revisit the idea again. Thank you for your time.
The company I work for allows for it - I don't know that actual age the person has to be in order to ride along - you'd have to contact them for that information.
@@TheRiverstoneLife that’s perfect thank you again.
How do I contact you for a quote, 5th wheel from Seattle to Kansas?
When you head back up to IN are you passing through Nashville? Don’t know if you have time to stop and chat for a few minutes.
We usually don't pass through Nashville but if you'd like to chat I am available via email at theriverstonelife@gmail.com
@@TheRiverstoneLife OK I’ll reach out via e-mail. Which way do you go from Alabama to IN. Not too many ways to go from AL to IN without going in or around Nashville. Lol I live about 30 minutes west of Nashville right around I-40 & I-840
With you using your truck for personal use how are you tracking your mileage? Do you clam dead head miles? With this your fist year how do you think your tax liability be this year,
I’ve got a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel with low miles and in good shape, recruiter says I can’t use it because it’s too old ,I could rebuild this truck multiple times for the price of a new truck, I’d love to get into this but might have to do some hotshot instead
Ugh that sucks - it has to be a 2005 or newer- maybe try to look into the other transport companies?
I’ve got a 2015 Silverado 2500 gasser but it’s high miles and sucks the gas , I might try that
Call horizon same owners of both companies but we have more older trucks here.
Thanks I’ll do that
I run my 2000 f250 for horizon
When you go out west do you normally end up doing a reset or are you able to make it back home
Just depends on how far out west you go (and the time it takes to get there - weather permitting) or if you drive less than 9 hours a day to stretch it out - you don’t have to do a reset.
I start like 2 months ago, and to be honest I don’t know how do some money, trips to Pennsylvania pay 800-900 and I just get like 300$ as much (earning) so any advice it’s welcome 🥴🙌🏻
What company do you work for?
@@TheRiverstoneLife Indiana transport , all the loads basically was 1.40
@@RomeroedwarsI was thinking getting into the RV Tranportation but 1.40$ is wild might as well get into car hauling
All you need is a single axle 2500 To do this business 90% of this business. I saw a lady show up to orientation with an f450 she didn’t have a cdl. That truck is absolutely meaningless for her.
Safer than 2500 I think it would be the heavier the truck stabilizes the vehicle I drove big rigs for twenty four years in my opinion I felt safer with weight not light especially in Wyoming 😂 on elk mountain to be exact
Can you take your wife with you?
With Wave Express - YES you can!
@@TheRiverstoneLife Im going to send you a email. Thanks
Cdl kills the truck so no don’t pay to do it , they way is does pay to have cdl is when the law tells you nothing over ten thousand on your trailer if you don’t have cdl. Ok if trailer is over ten thousand you by law half to have a cdl. But rv transport says you can haul twenty six thousand and under your truck weight and trailer weight combined can’t weigh more than twenty six thousand pounds if you have a class F license in some states it called other names in mine it’s and F that is what you need to haul RV transport. Or the right officer will give you a bad day. Chauffeur is another name I believe for that licensing.
Thanks for the info and commenting!! We appreciate it!
